Hanami means flower viewing in Japanese so I was expecting to see flowers but I found bonsai plants. In any case, this place is cozy and decorated elegantly. No complaints. I was a little surprised to see it has an air filtration device running to keep the air fresh. It's a very nice gesture I thought. Its service was better than many Japanese restaurants I have visited. Hazel is friendly and attentive. I liked the spicy ramen I ordered but it was only mild. I looked for the ramen seasoning I had at other ramen shops but none to be found. :-(

Doing shopping in the area and this caught our eye, for something quick and fortunately when we arrived around 4pm-ish it was empty except one other group. There were people coming in from DoorDash and Uber eats. Either way, been to a lot of ramen places and been pretty lenient on the reviews. Not saying 3 is a bad review just to us it was good. Just didn't stand out too much. The inside was nice and clean, not sure how long this place has been there but everything looked very well kept up. Menu was pretty simple. Spicy garlic edamame was good, the Takoyaki was really good. The chicken karage was good as well. The ramen bowl was pretty good as well and it did feel as though they gave more noodles than some other ramen places we've been to. Service was on par and prices were typical . No happy hour, so in case you are looking for an extra couple of bucks off appetizers during happy hour, time. There aren't any. All in all I wouldn't mind going back if I'm in the area, just wouldn't go out of my way to come here, but all around the experience was enjoyable. Everything was consumed.

Food is great, broth is flavorful. I add garlic and spinach but remove the bamboo shoots and egg. Nice atmosphere, staff is pleasant.

The food was amazing! My friend and I came to Hanami after researching multiple ramen places in the area and we chose this place specifically for the tofu fries, which didn't disappointment. Tofu Fries: Very crispy on the outside with a nice chewy interior, went beautifully with the sweet sauce provided. Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen: Rich broth enhanced by the spice and paired well with the pork chashu. Yuzu Shio Ramen: Delightfully bright citrus flavor with a light broth base. It was surprisingly delicious and refreshing. Overall, the service was good and the food was enjoyable. Not pictured was the mango passionfruit sweet tea and sakura milk tea. Both drinks were very good and the tea came in a big mason jar glass! This is definitely a spot I will definitely be coming back to!

First time having Ramen and it was SOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOD!!! Been feeling a little bit under the weather and this is exactly what I needed. The service is as great. Everyone was super friendly. It was clean and had quick service. I will most definitely be coming back.

Yuzu Shio ramen, Tokyo Tonkatsu ramen, some added spice on the side, extra noodle (to share), and a delicious Yuzu Lemonade.

Food/ramen = 3/5 Service = 4/5 Ambiance = 4/5 We ordered a Tokyo Style Tonkatsu ramen and a Yuzu Shio Ramen, with the Yuzu Lemonade drink. First and foremost, the noodle and broth were most of the score for both ramen, which were quite lacking, mainly the broth if I/we were honest, both we thought the ramen was fair, a 3/5. The egg was cooked well and tasted delicious. They are generous with the meat in their ramen. The chashu for the tonkatsu ramen was tender and melts in your mouth. The chicken for the yuzu shio ramen however was a fair bit plain. The corn was sweet and added to the flavor. It was mostly the broth flavor that was on the lower end of flavors. OVERALL = 3.6/5, but we'll bump that to a solid 4 because that Yuzu Lemonade was delicious.

So the hubby and I were in Corona Ca and we decided to have some Ramen and we found Hanami Ramen. We started out with the spicy edamame which was so good! It had great flavor to it! Not too spicy either. My hubby had the spicy pork ramen. He said it was very good. He said that he liked it and that he would order it again or maybe even try another dish from here. I ordered the creamy pork ramen with crispy onions and black garlic oil. It was so yummy! We both tried their $5 lemon aids too. I had the mango lemonade and the hubby had a strawberry lemonade. Unfortunately the mango lemonade was just ok. It was not sweet enough for me though. My hubby said the strawberry lemonade was good tho. It was a quiet day. Not many other people in the restaurant at that time which made for a nice dining experience . The restaurant was clean and looked nice. The Service was good too. Our waitress was nice and friendly. We will be bringing our daughter back to try it out soon. She likes ramen too, so I know that she will love Hanami Ramen restaurant. So If you haven't tried ramen, now would be a great time to try it. This restaurant is really good. We will be back soon to try their other dishes too.

I wanted to try ramen in the Cali area and this had the best reviews so we tried this place. Service was great. Food was meh but better than the disappointments I've had so far for my trip. The fried calamari was very crispy and the squid meat inside was nice and juicy and soft. It paired very well with the spicy mayo sauce. I got the spicy tonkotsu extra spicy, hence the three scoops of chili paste in my bowl. The broth was good but not enough flavor. The pork was nice and tender and fatty. I like that they add fresh bean sprouts and not ones that have been blanched. The egg however was not to my taste. I'm used to salty or yolky eggs, but the egg yolk was very sweet, like I was eating a candied egg. The Sakura milk tea tasted like milk with the red sala cider syrup used for shaved ice. Not my favorite. The boba was chewy, but tasted like it wasn't left to soak long enough. Nice shop for locals, but not for me.

Saw this new restaurant open up next to hobby lobby and decided to give it a try one night after work. Inside is pretty small and can become crowded easily. I was lucky enough to get a table right away but 5 minutes later a group of 4 came in and had to stand there until a table was free. A few others left because they did not want to wait for an open table. I felt the service was a bit slow. It could have just been the night I went. It took a while to get our order take. And our server messed up our table location with another table. When we were finished with our meal, it took a while to get our receipt to pay. Other than that the food was great. I ordered the spicy tonkotsu ramen, spicy miso ramen and gyoza. I ordered my ramen with extra noodles and extra seasoned egg. You can choose what type of noodles you want to go with your ramen such as white thin noodles, yellow wavy noodles or spinach noodles. I chose the yellow wavy noodles to go with my ramen. You can also choose what meat you want to go with your ramen as well such as pork, chicken or tofu. The ramen was delicious and the broth was yummy and rich in flavor. I also had a good amount of meat with mine which is always a plus. The seasoned eggs could have been a little better but they weee still good. The spicy miso ramen was delicious, the broth flavor was good. The gyoza was pan fried and packed some flavors to them.

The gyoza are good! These are pan fried, so they are still soft on top.

Yoshioishi Sushi & Ramen had solid reviews, so we decided to pivot and give it a try. First impression: the menu is extensive. It's one of those places where you almost don't know where to start. The fan favorites are marked with a red flower, which helped narrow things down. We also asked our server for suggestions, which made it easier to navigate. We arrived just before 5pm and there was only one other table. We were told to sit anywhere we'd like. By the time we left, the restaurant was filling up and it seemed like there were quite a few regulars coming in. Here's what we tried: Salted edamame: Just average. A bit limp and not as crisp as I'm used to, so they didn't feel especially fresh. Gyoza: Really nice flavor and the dipping sauce was well balanced. These were solid. Yellowtail jalapeño sashimi: This was different in a good way. It had cilantro and a slightly sweeter sauce instead of the traditional garlic ponzu. Unexpected, but a pleasant surprise. Crispy chicken karaage: Slightly over fried but still flavorful. The dipping sauce helped. Crispy rice with spicy tuna: Just okay. One piece barely had tuna on top. Not bad, but not something I'd reorder. Cucumber salad: Served on a bed of iceberg lettuce, which surprised us, but the dressing had great flavor. This disappeared quickly. Nigiri: The salmon was incredibly fresh and one of the highlights. The albacore and toro came topped with fresh wasabi, which was a nice touch. We really enjoyed the salmon and albacore. The toro didn't quite melt in your mouth like we hoped. It was a bit chewy. Crazy Salmon Roll: Good flavor, but note that the salmon on the outside is fully cooked. We expected raw, so just something to keep in mind. Snow Mountain Roll: A fan favorite at the table. Great texture and flavor. Plain udon and plain ramen: Both were excellent. The broth was rich and flavorful, the noodles were cooked perfectly, and the portions were generous. We definitely over ordered, but we left very full. One small detail for fellow tea lovers: I always look forward to hot tea at a Japanese restaurant, especially when it's served in a small pot you can refill at the table. Here it was hot water with a tea bag in a metal cup, which was too hot to comfortably hold, and there was no teapot provided. Not a deal breaker, but next time I'd probably skip the tea. Service was strong. In addition to our main server, two other team members checked in and refilled water regularly, which we appreciated. Overall, I'd call it a 3.5 if that were an option, so I'm landing at 3 stars. The food was decent, the atmosphere comfortable, and the service attentive. It didn't completely wow us, but we're glad we tried it.

Anyway... After perusing through the menu, which had quite a few blacked out items (black tape applied over the menu item) we both decided on the Tonkatsu Spicy Black Ramen Noodles as well a the Crispy Fried Rice appetizer... the appetizer was delivered but I had to request some small individual plates so that we could eat off of our own plate, rather than reaching over trying to share the same plate and making a mess on the table... no worries, small oversight (or so I thought at the time)... Next came the Ramen... Looked very appetizing, but again I had to get up and request a couple of soup spoons... went to dig in, and while the bottom of the bowl was warm, the broth itself was quite cold... after calling over the waitress and asking them to please reheat (even if they had to use the microwave)... the waitress took it back to the "open" kitchen and they used the microwave to reheat... The bowls were returned and as we started to eat, satisfied that the broth was indeed hot, we noticed a couple of items missing: the corn - no corn in the broth like it was described... in addition to that, no Wood Eared Mushrooms were in the broth either... the wood eared mushrooms set the "black" apart from the standard ramen and cost $.50 more per serving... when questioned about it, the hostess informed us that they didn't have any mushrooms... as a consolation, she offered us one of the "extra price" toppings in place if it... we opted for the tofu... a bowl of tofu pieces came out and although they appeared to have steam coming off of it, the tofu was cold as well... smh... The hostess returned them to to kitchen to be reheated... We received a 10% discount ($4.90 of of a $49 bill)... Not sure if they're going to make it with this level of service and food quality... Good Luck!

I ended up ordering spicy edamame, vegetable egg rolls, veggie rolls, tempura veggie rolls, and vegetable yakisoba. My sister, who's a meat eater, ordered calamari, California rolls, beef fried rice, beef yakisoba, and a new Korean bbq dish that wasn't on the regular menu, but there was a picture of it on the wall by our table. In addition, we each also got a bowl of miso soup and a small salad that came free of charge with our meal, which I appreciate since sushi rolls by themselves don't really fill me up. Everything tasted good and was filling and even now after eating some of the leftovers, it all still tastes good. The place itself is nicely decorated with a bunch of police patches behind the counter while on the walls there's Japanese artwork. The only hiccups I had was when I first came in I immediately asked for 2 waters. I got a nonverbal "Mm-hmm," so I repeated it again and got the same response, but a little more annoyed. Maybe it's a cultural thing where I was expecting an actual "Yes" and in Japan it's just a noise of acknowledgement, but once I started ordering so much food the waitress was much nicer to us. The 2nd was when we had to wait for the last dish to come out when we were already packed and ready to leave, but that was more on us since we added the Korean bbq last minute. The last has nothing to do with the restaurant itself, but the plaza it's in. If you're unfamiliar with it, I'll tell you right now that the parking situation is a nightmare! Basically, the parking lot is a long narrow stretch sandwiched in-between with the various restaurants and shops on one side, and the main street on the other side, so what ends up happening is all the good spots right next to the place you want to go to get filled up fast and you have to try and make a U-turn and find parking far away. Meanwhile, a bunch of other cars are trying to do the same thing while other cars are trying to come in off the street. It's horrible! It's an accident waiting to happen! I hate this plaza and whoever designed it! Anyway, if you're willing to put up with the parking situation, the restaurant and food are good enough for you to forget about it until you're trying to leave.
