They seemed to intentionally overload it with rice while skimping on the meat, as shown in the picture. I came in earlier today during my lunch break, and wasn't very happy with the experience. When I got back to my office, the entire bowl was very thick with the sauce. I feel it was extremely excessive. Probably had to of been 10k+ in sodium! The service is lacking, could be better. The chicken had a lot of connective tissue in it. Try flame broiler. read more

Horrible portions ! You don't get what payed for. The employees are just staring at you while you eat. Me and my kids decided to eat something healthier/chicken bowl without a soda. I go to this location regularly and have had no issues until today. The salmon bowl I got had a smaller portion of rice. Definitely a better Waba Grill location than most of the ones I've been to. I ordered the Chicken & Beef Plate with rice substitute instead of the salad. This is how I ordered all my plates at Waba Grill and I have to say it adds much more substance to the meal. You definitely can't forget the carrot and jalapeno toppings to add spice and tang to your plate. Lastly to tie in this ensemble perfectly I drizzled the teriyaki and hot sauce over the top! Most of my complaints with Waba Grill stem from their dry rice and overcooked meat, but this location had none of these problems luckily. Service was average, but for fast food chains there's only so much you can expect. The food came out in about 10 minutes so props to them for fulfilling 4 orders in that amount of time. Overall, I enjoyed the 30 minutes I spent here, won't be coming back to this location because I'm never in this area and it's in a weird plaza. I do however recommend this location for anyone local and looking for a decent Waba Grill! read more

I don't eat at waba grill that often but it seems to me that they're putting less steak in their plates. I really need to venture out and try the shrimp bowl but every time I come here my mouth waters when I see the salmon on the menu. Customer service is only handled professionally by the owner. A gentleman and hardworker. Ever since 2023 I have come to grab my lunch here. Never ordered a drink or asked for sauce. The owner would respect where I worked and offered me free drinks. Plenty of sauces. Never asked for it, it was a pleasure when he would be in for the day. Most of the time would call ahead and have the food ready, no hassle. Now there's a spikey haired guy and the son running lunches.. they don't answer the phone, give me dry food bowls when I never placed a order with "no sauce" and continue to not offer me sauce as they hand me over my food. I said "What's goin on, you guys are different, it's weird" & they mentioned "well you were being weird with my coworker, so is there anything else?" Luckily they knew how ti handle refunds and said I would get my money back in my account ina. Few days. Not saying the food isn't going good.. but hopefully you get the chance ti enjoy this establishment when the owner is present. My girlfriend and I got extremely sick from this location. We've been throwing up from both ends. The food here was kind of nasty, we didn't even finish our bowls, we felt something was "off" The following morning we were in so much pain still currently are, it's been 3 days. Healthy yumminess! No joke. They literally have signs of "healthy" everywhere at this joint. In fact, their color scheme reminds me of Veggie Grille (orange but not green). They even have the calories posted for you to see at the register (reminds me of Flame Broiler). But unlike flame Broiler, Waba has seafood options and salads. NICE. I went with the Half Salmon Half Veggie Bowl with brown rice (extra 50cents). I would give it 3.5 stars. I wished the salmon was a bit more moist with less teriyaki sauce. I came in at 8:15 pm on 09/13/2020. The register dude with the fro was SUPER not happy that I, and a couple other people came in right before closing. No worries, I get it... I worked retail before. So I order my two meals, one being salmon and I knew it would take a few minutes longer. So I waited.... and waited. The lady who order AFTER me got her order. So I had a second to hear the guy deliver all the bells and whistles of the condiments he offered in spanish. She was sweet and gracious and said SE to all that he offered. A minute later, my order was up. I walked up, and this young man shoved the white bag at me from under the plexiglass partition. Although there was a brief moment of eye contact.... he offered me zero condiments, extra napkins, etc. not even "here ya go." The brief moment was me giving him the opportunity to engage... and he didn't. So it left me feeling like some clients get customer service, and others don't. With all that's going on, and ALL BUSINESSES ARE HURTING.... I will go elsewhere. Everywhere we shop it pretty much sucks right now.... however, I have decided to no longer park my money where I'm really not wanted. My last time here! read more
