Our Panera is the worst! The employees are RUDE. They can't put the items that you order in a bag. This happens every single time we order on-line from this company, and believe me, over the past 5 years, I have only ordered maybe 5 times from them because they are so incompetent. Tonight was the worst it has ever been. My husband went to pick up our order, and only soup was in the bag. He tried to tell an employee that we ordered other items, and the RUDE employee said you need to go over there. Then he got home with the 5 items that we ordered only to find out that they didn't put the baguette in the bag with the soup. This Panera needs to be replaced with a restaurant that can serve the people of Dublin. They have been incompetent for years! Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else for a meal. This is by far the worst Panera Bread. And I do not mean quality of food. I am talking about speed and accuracy of the orders. I went in at noon and didn't walk out with my To Go order until 12:40! It should never take 40 mins to prepare a half salad and cup of soup. There are people even standing around waiting for their mobile orders. The WORST part is that after waiting 40 mins when I rush out of there because now I am late for a meeting, I get back to my desk and they didn't even make my salad correctly. It is missing ingredients!!!! It is consistently the same thing. Terrible. If in the Dublin area go to the Panera on Martin road. Even when busy in the middle of the lunch hour they are always fast. Ok so I'm sure most folks on Yelp are fairly familiar with the Panera food. I'm somewhat familiar but usually it's not my first choice to go to eat although I'm starting I come around. Partly because I'm eating as clean as possible and Panera is the only place that even comes close that I have come across( besides Northstar which is the best thing EVER and I wish there were one closer to me) I was recently introduced to one of the more amazing things I have been blessed to out in my mouth, the French Toast bagel with hazelnut spread. Toasted. Oh sweet Jesus how have I never known this existed?!?!? I would've been coming here ages ago!!! These seem to be covered in some kind of cinnamon streusel crunchy freaking sweet mouth music making topping that I have never experienced before now and my life has been the sadder for it. But now. Now all things are right. My mouth and this bagel with hazelnut toasted spread are soul mates and we're always meant to be together. huge rip and listen to me carefully because I don't want you to be disappointed like I was this Saturday and last Sunday when I tried to roll in there late as shit and they are sold out already. Thought I would give this place another try..big mistake. I'm tired of paying nine bucks for a turkey sandwich with 2 very thin weak ass pieces of turkey on it. What is this?! Did a 22 mile bike ride with my boyfriend Saturday am and wanted to stop for a snack on the way home. Very very poor experience. Arrived minutes before the 10 am rush - very fortunate for us. Yasmin waited on us. Below is a list of our direct experiences and feedback for all who dare wind up at her part of the counter: 1. I'm sure Panera asks their associates to welcome and smile at their patrons. It was a sunny Saturday am. We received neither from Yasmin. Lighten up - smile and you'll quickly discover this will leverage you to be kind to others as you are kind to yourself by starting this from the inside. 2. Our order was accurate - thank you. While I recognize it may not always be fun working in service please understand, accept and acknowledge it's not just what you do but how you do it. How you process orders do count. 3. We are Panera Loyalty Card members. Yasmin didn't ask us if we were nor did she offer for us to sign up. Upon sharing we are members and when we asked if she could access us via phone number Yasmin rolled her eyes and you would have thought we woke her from a nap. Ironically, two weeks earlier I registered to be a Loyalty member from the Westerville S State street location based on how the opportunity was served up. Perhaps Yasmin should shadow Westerville to see what success looks like when partnering with a customer. 4. No one in line behind us was treated with respect from Yasmin. No smiles - no greeting. We acknowledge a point for consistency. 5. My boyfriend ran back in quickly for a small cup of ice and there were two other associates who both eagerly helped him with professionalism and smiles. The most ironic part of this experience overall? The screaming sign by Yasmin's register "Now hiring enthusiastic and high energy associates!" If one doesn't laugh you may just cry. Ironic. Admittedly, it was busy. Thankfully a manager took my order though as i walked up to her she was yawning. Nice touch. Before ordering I advised her of what Joe shared with me on 8/26 and she told me he no longer works there. Nicer touch. She tried to back me into only comping what we had previously ordered on 8/24 and nowhere did she pull me name out of a book to confirm our experience as Joe had explained on the 8/26 follow up phone call. When I told her we had an awful experience on a crazy day in August she replied, "And you come to us on another crazy day...." OUCH. Way to go Panera @ Perimeter Loop. You are by far the lousiest functioning location in the Panera family. When she processed our two salads and ice teas I got no ticket and said, "listen for your name." So I did and our food was good. Though the line cook supervisor was as equally as disinterested in his role - looks like they have issues with their leadership teams as the runners to the dine-in customers seem to be OK. Stick with Westerville, Bethel Rd and Easton. Something is not working in Dublin. That's only 2 known turnover associates in less than 30 days; no question there are maybe more? 4 stars for food quality and 1 star for service. The service in the establishment has been on the decline for years. I've put up with it because I really enjoy the turkey and avocado sandwich, but I think I've finally hit my Panera breaking point. Although your food may be up to par, I'm not going to to continue to patronize a restaurant who so obviously does not care about their customers. Never am I greeted when I reach the counter to order, and most often are the employees short and unwelcoming. To be honest, they look downright miserable. On my last visit I had ordered a full sandwich to go, but was only charged and given a half. When I went to the register to rectify the situation, the manager on duty proceeded to ring me out for the remaining balance for a full sandwich, hardly speaking any words to me and most definitely not issuing an apology. Today, I placed my order to dine in for lunch. I was given a table beeper so that my meal could be brought to me. Several minutes later my name was yelled across the dining room from the food counter. I approached with my beeper and enquired whether there was table service, I mean, what's the point of giving me a beeper if it's not going to be used? I was told that there is no table service at this time. Fast forward 15 minutes and the woman who sat down near me is served at her table. Seems to me that the employees are only willing to do the work when it is convenient for them, not the customer. At this point, I will no longer visit this establishment. This location is poorly run. Wait times are ridiculous with lines often to the door and items are out-of-stock at 8:15 on a Sunday morning. It's like they don't plan for busy periods. I tried rapid pick-up, to no avail. They have left items out of two of my last three pick-up orders, and they left me sitting on hold when I tried to call and get the order corrected. Panera has me either way you look at it. If there is one nearby, I am there. I recently stopped in this Panera location on my way from a doctors appt at Dublin Methodist Hospital. I had a few minutes to spare and I stopped in for my usual bagel and coffee. The place was busy for a weekday morning with a variety of people there. I am not a big fan of Panera. I would take a baked good from Mozarts , Piece of Cake, or any other northmarket stall over the bread and cake offerings at Panera anyday. When I do go to Panera I generally opt for a soup and salad combo. I really do like their salads, the portions are big, and the greens are fresh. The soups vary depending on the special. I've had a pretty decent tomato on occasion. I often find myself at this location since they have a large 'community' room in the back so it is a good place to hold a working lunch or late meeting for work or any meet up with a large group. You can even reserve it in advance for a little privacy. So Panera gets a star for the big green salads and the big free room in the back. read more

Panera is pretty great. I love their chicken and rice soup and their cheese danishes. I usually grab a pick two if soup and Fuji apple salad. However, I do agree that all of this is on the expensive side and the takeout food is a lot less than what you get in the restaurant for the same price. The problem with this Panera especially is that it is too popular. There's always a pretty decent line and most seats are usually filled. The free wifi is useless because is slow due to the amount of people working on it. I advised against going here for studying and group projects because it's loud and crowded. read more

After a long day at work stopped to get dinner for my family. Always seems so busy and chaotic at dinner time here. I looked in my bag before I left and saw what looked like enough food and there was as another bag inside. When I got home the sandwich I had ordered for my son was not inside. I called the store to let them know. The woman who answered asked if I wanted to come back and get it and I told her know. I could tell she was irritated as she asked for my receipt #, name, and phone number. She said "I will look into it and get back to you." Not sure why. There is nothing to do but refund me. If I can give a zero, I'll give a zero. I live in Ballantrae and this is the closest one for me. For the past 6 months, they messed up my orders 50% of the time. And when I called that out, the crew was rude. I also work at OSU, the lane avenue one is fantastic. Significant quality control issue. Standardization in operation process is indeed not used. Manage didn't check orders at all as there was no mark on the receipt. Avoid this location at all expenses. read more

Yuck! Ordered a carry out of soup with baguette and a bread bowl. I waited and watched the "Certified Trainer" prepare two phone orders before filling my order. A woman in a Panera sweater came walking over to me and grabbed my bag when it was put up on the counter and started digging through it. Then she put it back and they pushed it over to me. I mentioned that she did not have food gloves on and why did she dig through my bag? Apparently the woman filling the order needs her bags checked and she said she did not touch anything. Really? How did you not touch anything with her whole arm in my bag with the unwrapped baguette on top and unwrapped soup spoons and an unwrapped bread bowl top? Totally gross. Threw it out. read more

I've been visiting this Panera Bread location once every couple weeks pretty much since they opened (my office is right down the street). Over the years its gone from good to marginal to what I would now consider pretty bad. The people that I've interacted with are all pretty nice and seem to generally want to do a good job however the gap between trying to do a good job and actually delivering on that promise seems to be fairly wide. What I expect from a sandwich at Panera is fairly minimal: fresh bread, fresh meat, fresh lettuce & onions all stacked together in a relatively concentric manner. What I typically get is marginal bread, wilted lettuce and meat that is neither unfolded from it obvious state of storage nor placed on the bread with any concern for creating what most people know as a sandwich. I know this sounds trivial but I like my sandwich to be mostly homogeneous in terms of the distribution of ingredients. in other words I don't like biting into one half and getting nothing but bread and lettuce and the other half containing 80% of the sandwiches meat. Doesn't seem like much to ask from a place whose specialty is sandwiches but alas this is a lofty goal for the obviously rushed employee who slaps together the sandwiches here with such apparent disregard for the common law definition of a sandwich. Now I'm one who generally rolls with the punches and won't let the small things get in the way of enjoying life so when my sandwich looks like it was assembled by a toddler I just take it apart and put to back together correctly, fanning out the compressed stack of meat and redistributing the ingredients as they should have been in the first place. This extra step alone would not have been enough to cause me to give only two stars or even warrant a review for that matter as I'm a pretty busy guy. On this fateful day I received a sandwich with lettuce that was well past its prime and actually coated in a lovely black slimy substance I can only describe as mold-like. Unfortunately I did not discover this until I had already taken a bite and undoubtedly consumed some of the aforementioned grossness. Needless to say I was a little upset but I just kept calm and politely notified the manager as to the situation. She apologized and immediately removed this sacrilege from my table and promptly returned with a replacement sandwich. And while the new sandwich was not nearly as disgusting as the other one it was quite apparent that the same source of lettuce was just picked through to find the slightly less rotten pieces to be used for my new sandwich. The new lettuce while thankfully not covered in strange black foreign matter was still badly wilted and beyond what I would ever consider acceptable. So I picked it off and ate what was left of the sandwich and decided I will never return to this Panera again and most likely any other location. For me it's quite simple; three things stacked together in a nice neat pile and some minimal quality assurance on the ingredients I'm being fed. That's all I ask for from a sandwich shop. Clearly in my numerous visits to this Panera the desire to get the orders done quickly has taken priority over any form of quality and I don't patronize places that don't care about quality. read more

This used to be a good place to eat. While the food is still good, cleanliness of the facility is poorly managed. We were there tonight and I had to wash my own table. I went up to the counter to see if they had any cleanser but no one waited on me. So I got napkins and washed the table with water. None of the tables were clean. It is often like this. It was very slow and unorganized because we were hoping for a quicker meal so we ordered sone soups and they took 30 minutes just before they got it out to us, guess that dream of a quick meal just went down the drain. I am not sure if it's just this location or not, but I cannot tell you how many times our on-line, carryout order has been wrong at this location. I would never go here, but my teenage daughter likes it so we order for her. Here's the biggest problem, how they deal with it when they have an order error. They ask that you come back in to get the right order. Really, I'm going to drive 15 minutes one way to the store, get the right food, then drive 15 minutes back? They don't offer to refund the entire purchase. In our latest incident, we ordered a "Group for Soup" and they gave us bowls and not enough that make it equivalent of the Group for Soup. Dad (me) picked it up and doesn't really know what to look for in the order. When I get home, my daughter tells me of the problem. I call to validate the order was not filled correctly. It was not. I ask the manager the process they use to validate orders are correct. He does not tell me the process but does tell me they are working on this process as they get a lot of orders wrong...really I am told this. I am offered a free gift card (for less than the order amount) as they cannot refund the gift card we used to pay. When I go to pick up the gift card, the manager indicates he's a new manager and didn't really know the steps and he's not allowed to give me a gift card. Panera's food is pretty good, it's over-priced and not a good value. Their Mickey Mouse operations make this place unbearable...and I'm sorry for insulting Mickey! read more

For the most part, this Panera's is usually pretty good. They have polite staff, the food comes fast and they're usually well stocked. I have also never had a rude encounter at this location. They also have a nice, fenced in seating with flowers and umbrellas where you can sit if it is nice and warm outside. The only downside is that it is usually crowded on sundays. read more

I came here to get some work done between appointments. The food and staff were OK, but there were a lot of other issues. First off, the Wi-Fi was so slow it was unusable. I ended up tethering with my phone. And it's not like there there a lot of people on it. There were _maybe_ a dozen people here and only a few of us had laptops or were on their phones. The chairs were also very uncomfortable. But the worst part was that there was some piece of equipment in the kitchen that was making a loud persistent high-pitched whine. Listening to this made me feel like someone was drilling into my skull. Ultimately, that's why I bailed; after about ten minutes the squeal was giving me a splitting headache. Ordered two you pick two meals and a pastry. Waited 40 minutes when the average Panera wait time is quoted as 10 minutes. Around twenty customers were waiting and several walked out or cancelled in frustration. Manager was still taking orders and quoted a 15 minute wait time, which he knew was inaccurate. He didn't schedule enough staff members to put out the food that was ordered, and didn't care that the wait time was unacceptable. Will never be back. read more
