After my last review the manager reached out and provided me with a coupon to try them again. I added a star do the customer service. While the potato soup is always the same, the portion is rather small. I really liked the chicken bacon rancher, would order that again. Hubby got the cheesesteak. He was not impressed. The steak was chewy and the peppers tasted more like pimentos. I had a 1/2 off a bakery item so I tried the Dubai cookie. I don't recommend it. It's cold, more like a filled brownie. If you're paying full price, it's definitely not worth $3. I'd get the kitchen sink instead. read more

This Panera Bread location has the prettiest outdoor seating area that's so perfect and welcoming!! Passing through the town, I'm so glad I stumbled upon this restaurant. The inside is super spacious and open, the windows adding to the beautiful interior. Staff was also super friendly and kind, answering any questions I had and even giving me a water bowl for my dog. I can't stand Panera bread. It's not just Etown. I have been a few times to different locations as well as this one and each time come out disappointed. Adventurous sandwich designs but for some reason it's always a mess or doesn't taste good. I will say bagels are good. I enjoy those. Not sure what's up with the sandwiches though. read more

The "full size" salad now appears to be smaller than the half salad was before the corporate buyout. It's ridiculous. I think I'm going to have to drop this off the rotation. You can be expensive and have decent sized salads, soups and sandwiches, or be reasonably priced and have tiny sized salads and sandwiches and soups. But you can't morally be both expensive and tiny. Panera has gone not only expensive But also chintzy. When I first looked at my one half strawberry poppyseed salad, I thought they had divided the fruit into a separate container. But NO!! the half full half container was it. The dressing portion is so small it barely wets a quarter of the half salad. The soup container was only slightly better. This squeezing of the customer seems to be a trend. I think during pandemic they seemed more grateful for the business. (1/2 sandwich and soup) One turkey and avocado BLT ( just a little too much mayonnaise for my taste) but...YUMM!- along with a chicken noodle soup. I only have you a one star as that is the lowest I can go, I placed my order on the website, drove to the restaurant l, sent the information that I had arrived, and proceeded to wait almost 30 minutes for curdside, ai finally called and they tell me that can't find me well I followed the only signage I saw, out front, and they had my phone number but didn't bother to call, them when we went to the park to eat the cold food, the grilled cheese I had asked to have the crust cut off from was half fixed so cold it was stick to the paper, and then the soup I ordered as to eat in the eat, guess what I didn't even have a spoon, so I have to wait even longer until I finally get home, so very disappointed, and now I remember why this is actually the first time this year I have bothered to dine here, and I won't be returning too expensive and crappy service, sad read more

Surprisedly fast service during lunch rush. I love their salads, soups,sandwiches and bagels. We got 2 orders and they got them both right and didn't give us a fuss about it either. When I got back into the office, my soup was still hot and well portioned, my sandwich was well made and delicious and of course my baguette was a healthy size. My co-workers order was fresh and correct, the only thing, her baguette was 1/2 the size of mine. So that was our only complaint. read more

I settled for black bean soup. It was pretty flavorless compared to the one I make at home. On a previous visit, they were also out of yogurt for the kids meals. Aside from that, food and drinks are always tasty! Seating can be tricky if it's extra busy! The kiosks are they way to go when the line is long! Stopped in for lunch on Tuesday. I truly believe it will be my last time at a Panera. I ordered Pick 2. I chose the geek salad and 1/2 almond chicken salad. The salad was very wilted and takes like it had been sitting in watered down dressing for hours. There was very little feta - more like a dusting of feta. My sandwich wasn't much better. Hardly any chicken salad, also tasted like watered down Mayo. The best part was the apple I got as my side. Over $15 for a crappy lunch. Never again!! read more

I went there for a bacon turkey bravo all I could taste was the sauce, very disappointing. My cousin ordered the chicken noodle soup almost nothing but broth. The service was good except for the fact that there was a worker just talking to the workers/cooks, and I couldn't grab my food. I got chips and there was a huge tear in my bag of chips with black crust falling out. The place in general has a nice ambiance. Lots of people. But when I was getting my drink I dropped my straw and when I was picking it up there was a huge cockroach/cricket disgusting thing. Overall the food experience is a 7/10, the service is a 8-9/10, the ambiance is a 9-10/10/9.5/10. Disappointed but would go back in the future. Up your game panera. The Panera un Elizabethtown is one of the best I've been too. It is always clean and well kept. The food is consistently good and the service is typically good. I love the bread bowls of soup and the souffles. My only complaint is that it is always freezing inside. I have to take a jacket every time I go. read more

A very cozy and comfortable bakery in Elizabethtown, only a few minutes' walk away from the Towne Mall. This place was surprisingly busy when I came in on a Saturday afternoon, but that didn't seem to slow down the service here. They were ready for me up at the counter even before I was, and it didn't take them more than a few minutes to make my sandwich. I'm always really impressed when places manage to do this. They use this new pager technology to alert customers when their orders are ready. The little device that they hand you after you order will beep, light up, and vibrate when they put your food up at the pick up counter. There, you put down the pager and pick up your order. It's really cool when restaurants and cafes decide to use advanced technology. The place is also quite spacious and has at least one fireplace inside. There are also tables and chairs outside if it's too crowded inside or if the weather is just too nice for you to not be outside. I ordered a whole Italian combo on ciabatta bread sandwich for $7.99. The bread was quite tasty, as were the contents (roast beef, smoked turkey, ham, salami, Swiss cheese, peperoncini, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and their "special" spread). My only complaints with the sandwich were that it was kind of small, and that almost nine dollars for such a little sandwich seems disproportionate. But they do offer a full variety of other items in their bakery that I'm curious to try out if I ever get the chance to visit again. read more

They ran out of tuna. I got a grain bowl instead with no Greek yogurt because I can't do dairy. They forgot to remove the Greek yogurt and because of the pandemic, they told me to throw it away. This location is somewhat hidden. Located across the streets from the mall in etown and the same strip mall as Kroger. It's not easily seen from Dixie Highway so anyone from out of town may not even see it. I visited here on a Tuesday morning around 8 for a meeting. Panera is always a great place to work remotely but this morning I was there to meet with someone. The wait wasn't long at the counter or for them to heat up my bagel. Service was friendly and fast. The only complaint the half and half was empty and the skim milk for coffee was very low too. Also, they were out of reduced fat cream cheese. But hey when you opt for the cinnamon crunch bagel just eat all those calories...right?!? Other than that, the experience was consistent to that at a Panera. read more

I travel a lot for work and use Paneras across the state for catering. This Panera is one of the worst...and my bad experiences here is a trend...not an outlier. Not only is it fly infested...but they are always out of certain foods necessary for the order. And, of course, your family places the order and they don't tell you until later. They don't apologize or try to help make it right. Of course, when we got our order - it was not completely correct. The WORST one I've been too. First, I ordered the CHICKEN tortellini alfredo as I always do but guess what? They didn't put the chicken! Then the manager said "oh, it was supposed to have chicken?" I regularly have my business meetings here; free WiFi and excellent service, a great place to go. A friend of mine ordered a coffee for me and already paid for it. I was going to order one of those mocha latte frappuccino chocolate iced coffee drinks so the cashier called her manager over to help her.
