The drive thru girls says they are out of bacon and then says oh no sorry we do have bacon and then I get my sandwich with no bacon. Then I asked for my sons apples to be sliced and they weren't. The wait was ridiculous and then when I went in to get my sandwich fixed the employees were walking around rolling their eyes when customers who were still inside were trying to get last minute purchases even though they were closed. Then the lady offers me a pastry for all their mistakes. Really? You have horrible service and all you're gonna offer is a pastry? No thank you. Horrible service and I will not be back. read more

Sad. $9.95 for less than half a bowl of soup. I will leave hungry, and will not return.

Rapid deliver wasn't ready when I got there. Was late to work appointment because of it. Didn't even START making it until I was there...asking where my order was read more

My experience is only with the drive thru. They were fast and food was correct, fresh, and delicious. I like that they offer healthy options

The worst! I paid $30 for 1 drink, soup, salad and 2 1/2 sandwiches. The wait was ridiculously long. Then when we finally got the food they brought only 1/2 of it out. Then they screwed up my soup order. Then forgot my drink. I had to get up twice to get my food right. So frustrating. Get it together Panera! The these prices I expected more. read more

I had a bad experience. This is the second time I have eaten at a Panera bread, and the second time my order has been wrong. I ordered a "Turkey and Avocado BLT" with only turkey, avocado, mayo, and cheese, with half a baguette on the side, which already came with the order. Instead, I received a sandwich with red onions, and a side of kettle chips? I am only giving them 2 stars because you could tell that the ingredients were fresh. I don't know if I will be visiting again. read more

Never eating Panera Bread again. Half sandwich, mac&cheese, sweet tea, and cookie was $15+. WAY over priced. The chipotle chicken avocado sandwich was awful. The chicken was mushy. Had two bits of tomato and a piece of avocado the size of a nickel. Bread was rubbery like it had been microwaved. Cannot believe I paid money for that. Tea wasn't sweetened until the last inch so obviously it wasn't shaken well. Even the cookie wasn't very good. read more

Panera Bread - My sandwich compared to the advertisement. - Sandwiches Near Me - Garland, Texas

Upon trying Panera for the first time today, I was both very impressed with the freshness, quality and taste of the food while being extremely disappointed in the amount of food that $11.00 dollars got me. I ordered the pick two; Steak and Arugula 1/2 sandwich (could not taste the cheese on the tiny 1/2 sandwich) and the 1/2 Quinoa Salad. Both were delicious but I walked away hungry!! I NEVER EVER walk away hungry because I just don't eat a lot at a time. I always have leftovers, usually enough for another meal or a hefty snack. I don't mind paying higher prices for quality food and I don't require leftovers but I should have enough to fill me up. The staff were very nice and it was clean. Maybe it was a fluke, I don't know but management should be aware and customers shouldn't still be hungry. I'm willing to try again. read more

I like their food. Salad and soup is also great. The kiosk ordering system is so convenient and a great experience. Strongly recommend them

Went here a few months ago with a large church choir party late one Sunday evening. They were understaffed due to our large party but they did an exceptional job considering the circumstances given. Cuddo's to all the staff that evening! read more

The food is typical for Panera but if you want a spinach artichoke souffle, you need to order at least an hour ahead. No apologies just expected to wait another 20 minutes in addition to the 30 minutes from when I ordered online. read more

Usually great service but the last time i went they forgot my order, i waited 20 mins before i asked the busser where my food was, he told me to go over to the kitchen area. They didn't believe me and were looking at me like i was crazy even though i showed them my receipt and everything. They didn't comp anything on my meal and didnt offer me any free treats. Got my sandwich but was made pretty poorly compared to other times /: I have also notices the employees always seem upset, the place must be under pretty poor management if the employees that annoyed. read more

The service at this location is not good. Waiting over 20 minutes for a bowl of soup. Also, the "always fresh brewed coffee" was brewed at 3:30pm. It is now 7:40pm. read more

Staff is all really pleasant and smiley. Place is crowded at lunch and can be hard to find a table. They offer low calories filling options for lunch. I like the pick two: kale chicken sandwich and low fat chicken noodle soup. Only downside to that is its a bit pricey. read more

ordered online and waited like 20 minutes out front because there's no way to tell them you're here. shitty place i hope they go out of business read more

Autumn squash soup was fantastic! Chicken tortellini was fresh and tender. Great quiet place for lunch.

Ridiculous!! Panera was my go to for a coffee, toasted bagel with cream cheese.... Their new process, where the orders go through the kitchen, creates a bottleneck for orders as simple as this. 10 minutes for a toasted bagel, that is barely toasted. Won't be stopping at any of these newer locations. read more

Service was super slow. Sandwich had almost nothing on it and soup was actually cold (as in fridge cold). I've been here before without these issues but this was bad enough to make me chose one of the many other places at Firewheel. read more

We were so excited when Panera came to Garland, but this store really needs to get it's early morning act together. I order from there frequently, and it's not ready most times I get there, but today, I ordered an hour ahead of my pickup time, got there and NOTHING was ready nor had anyone even started on it, and no, they weren't busy. One gentleman, David, grabbed my ticket and tried to ask the people in the bakery about it, and the only "help" he received was from Melissa (Manager?) and she said, "I've never seen that; don't know anything about it." Many of us are in the customer service business, so my thought is instead of blurting that out in front of your customer, why not say, wow, I haven't seen that, let me help get that going...She was just incredibly rude. Also, they did not have one of items I ordered at all. David asked Melissa about it and she said they didn't have any because they had to fill a catering order. REALLY???....Then we he tried to help me with substitutions, there was a large display of chocolate croissants, and I told him that online it says those are out of stock. Panera, if you are going to offer very early morning pickup, then everyone needs to be ready, AND there needs to be enough people there to do it.....and a few lessons in Polite 101 would not hurt either. (But thanks David!!)..... read more

Not happy with the service and the quality of food. They didn't bring my kid Hot Chocolate for 25 mins and then when we went to the counter and reminded them, the guy just picked the cup that was placed next to the register and handed it over like nothing had happened, it was fair to call it "Cold Chocolate" at that time, so we asked for a new one and he called the manager, we explained that it's been sitting ready at your counter for last 25 mins and no one served, so they replaced it with a new one. I bought a toasted butter bagel and that was not fresh either, was cold and too hard after the toast. My son bought a Chocolate cookie and it was as hard as a hockey puck. 10 mins after we left my kid threw up and was sick for the next couple days. So overall it was a very bad experience. I give 1 star for the cleanliness, that's all. read more

Good Food, but EXCELLENT STAFF and UNBELIEVABLE CUSTOMER CARE!!!. My daughter and I stopped for lunch (excellent soup, salads, and sandwiches), but when we paid and left, my car wouldn't start. worse yet my daughter's phone had died, and I had left my phone in the charger at home. We were stranded. However, an employee (G. Cardoza, # 1839) used his tablet computer to look up the phone number for my insurance towing service, lent me his personal phone to call the service, and then provided us constant updates from his personal phone as the tow truck driver coordinated our pick up. This is EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. Way beyond anything we were expecting. GOOD JOB Panera Bread Firewheel Mall / Garland , Texas! We'll be customers for life! read more

I usually love Panera, but this location is pretty hit or miss. There is a pretty good chance that you'll be waiting in line for 10 because the cashier is chatting with a friend that came in (hugs and all) and then receive a soggy sandwich. But then I had a decent experience the last time I went. I'm hoping that with this being a new location that they are still working on working as a team and making sure the quality is good. read more

Every time i come here they run out of something. I came here not to long ago with my family and we wanted specific things on the menu just to find out that they didn't have most of what we wanted. Then we asked to substitute it with someone else and they didn't have that either. Horrible. Inventory/Management needs to step it up! Running out of food everyday is horrible. Especially at Panera Bread. read more

Why the bread so hard? First time and I almost threw the bread biting into it. Just a question and is it suppose to be like that? My teeth hurt now read more

This place is close to home & I want to like it. It's a serious lottery each time you come on if they will get your order correct. I used to chalk it up to the place being new, it's no longer new, and my order is still wrong more times than right. I have more bad examples of customer service there than good. If it weren't a chain with a drive through, I do not see how it would survive. However, it will for those very reasons. If there were a better option, I would never return to this location. read more

First time at this Panera staff was friendly and Taylor was most helpful. Very clean and bright I purchased an assortment of cookies and pastries the family loved em all my favorite was the chocolate pastry a must try read more

This place is nothing but a rip off ! $ 8.00 for a breakfast sandwich and a cup of coffee, but when the sandwich was brought out it was only the size of a slider ! They sell you on their atmosphere and wi-fi but the Panera food absolutely sucks ! Watch out for the $10.00 microwave mac & cheese . Zero stars, I'll take my business elsewhere ! read more

wish I could give this place 0 stars!!!! got my order wrong took 25 minutes to get it after asking for it, mind you the restaurant looked like a ghost town!! they also took 30 minutes to make a smoothie, could've gone home and made it myself. read more

I had a terrible experience today. My friend ordered in front of me, but when it came time for me, I had to wait over 5 minutes while 3 people stood around and didn't acknowledge me. Finally I asked one of them if they could please take my order. The person had trouble signing on to one of the registers, and then said "this is really funny--I can't sign on so I'll have to get my manager". Another employee came up and said she could get my order going. By the time I found someone to take my order, my breakfast sandwich was already completed and given to me. I sat down with my sandwich and coffee but when I came to get a refill on coffee, 2 of the coffees were out. Again I had to find someone to ask about coffee, and they said it was being made and would be a few minutes. I came back up after 10 minutes and the coffee was still not there. I think they need more employees at this location and much better customer service. read more

Why, tell me, can't you get a simple drive through order correct? I'm so tired of getting my order home and it being wrong! I know to check carefully but, my husband doesn't. Who orders soup and baguette and gets soup and chips. I always check to see that I'm given the bowl rather than a cup, because you can't seem to get this right. I'm tired of having to call AGAIN and complain over your poor service. I give you 00 stars for service. Your soup is good so you get one star. But! You know Jason's Deli, down the road has good broccoli cheese soup too. I'm taking my business to them! read more

Been a while since visiting Panera and was very disappointed, the salad had limp, old bruised lettuce with mostly lettuce ribs. The chicken panini was decent except that the avocado was far from being ripe with a very grainy texture and the taste was horrible. I ordered a pick 2: Soup and Chicken Avocado Cobb Salad (they had to modify the new Goddess Cobb). I was charged full price for my meal and nothing was said about being out of anything. Just sent me on my merry way. When the food came to the table, low and behold no avocados and a very small slice of bread and not the usual baguette. I asked the lady about the avocados and baguette.... she said, "Oh we are out of both" as if it was typical. After finishing the slice of bread, I asked for additional slice and was told they were out. This is my 2nd (same) experience at this particular Panera being out of something. Whether is be dressing, avocados, bread.... Yep, that's right I said BREAD!! How is it that a restaurant named "Panera BREAD" runs out of bread and not just one kind of bread, but "ALL Bread" is beyond comprehension. Sad that such good quality restaurant provides this terrible service. Not sure it will do anything, but I am contacting corporate about this location. read more

i went here with my my mom, my friend, and her mom. we were expecting to get a great meal to enjoy together, however, that wasn't the case. when my mom and i ordered our soups and noodles, we had to send them back because the bowls were freezing cold. i ordered the Edamame Soy- Miso Noodle Soup and it was way undercooked. the beans were so undercooked i was barely able to eat it. the noodles were ok but they weren't fully cooked. my edamame soup didn't have any salt whatsoever. not to mention that i didn't get my side of french baguette and had to personally ask myself to get it. my friend and her mom ordered sandwiches and they came out pretty good, but her mother's bread was cold. overall, i would not recommend going, but caution of service could be better. read more

Food is good. The inside is extremely dirty. Crumbs, water, etc all over tables. Floors are covered in things.

This location opened up in the last few months and we decided to give it a try. On the good side, this restaurant seems larger than most of the other Paneras and unlike some of the others where busing tables seem to be an issue, the tables in this location are very clean. On the bad side, and I would say this applies to all Paneras, the menus seems extraordinarily expensive for basically, a sandwich shop. I had a half sandwich and bowl of soup. My wife had a half sandwich and half salad. Add two drinks=$30. Far too much for this meal. Also, we weren't offered a choice for a side item-just received the standard baget. This last criticism would also apply to all Paneras: The menu board is very confusing. Too many choices and half items prompt almost every customer to ask for guidance in their selections. Also, since Panera promotes healthy eating choices, try their lemonade containing 34 grams of sugar and unlike Chick-fil-A, Whataburger and others, offering no low cal choice. The iced tea blends seem weird. Hibuscus?? read more
