This Panera has really nice workers, I have been coming here lately this week to study. The atmosphere is great, really quiet and friendly. I haven't had a bad time since I have been there. Save yourself the money and just buy a coffee instead of a latte. I watered one two weeks ago and the guy who made it just heated up the milk and put in the coffee. I called the manager afterwords and told him that it was just a training issue. Maybe the guy who made it had never had a proper latte. This morning I was in a hurry so I did the rapid pick up. I ordered five minutes before arriving and was surprised not to see my food in the rapid pickup area. I went over to the counter where the people prepare food and the woman stated that she thought that she was making mine. I decide to go over to where the lattes are made and the woman calls my name, my food was behind the counter but she had not started on my coffee yet. Same old Panera that I've come to know and love, but the new employee training is lacking here in this shiny new location. Ran out of hazelnut coffee and took them almost a half hour to re-brew - when asking about the status, the cashier said he would go check but reappeared and looked clueless. No attempts to update customers who wanted to know. Ample seating, but sadly cell service isn't too good in a few corners. A very nice Panera. I stop in Panera whenever I'm around one. It's a great place to meet someone and talk or a place to take someone for a quick bite to eat. This particular Panera is in a newer shopping center and it's kinda hidden back in the corner. There is plenty of parking, though, and the layout of the restaurant is open, friendly and inviting. The staff are on top of things and pay attention to the customer instead of horsing around with each other (as I've seen in other Panera restaurants). Yesterday one of my coworkers ordered "to pick up" lunch for 3 of us at work. She got to the office right before our staff weekly meeting. For our surprise, they gave us incomplete food. She ordered soup and just bread came in the bag. And 3 Greek salads, but they came with no dressing. She went back today (may 15) to get the rest of the orders, but was told by the manager that she should have gone yesterday. And this is not the first time. Before her order came with no bread. When it's quiet, this Panera is a great hideaway from the world. Seems new and well-kept, with friendly servers, fast service and lots of tables, nooks, and crannies to relax in. My first visit was on a Sunday afternoon, and hardly anyone was here so it was great. My second visit was also on a Sunday but the Panera was packed and full of loud people (maybe someone was having a party in the back space?) - so I docked a star. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get the wifi to work on my laptop or smartphone, which was really annoying since I came specifically to do work requiring Internet. I docked another star. read more

This location is a bit smaller than most Panera's I'm familiar with, but there are plenty of seats for large groups or quiet studying. I'm usually here to study for several hours. Chipotle doesn't open until 11, and this is a crying shame. As an alternative, my companion and I turned to another giant in the industrial food landscape: Panera. We should have just waited 20 minutes until Chipotle opened it's shiny doors. First, we tried to order breakfast. Nope, not after 10. The first of many disappointments. We decided to spend our entire food budget on a single sandwich, the Avocado BLT, with the apple as a side. This was in October, prime apple season. Germantown is rural, there is really no excuse for the mealy, broken texture of this apple. The avocado was slimy and unripe. The sandwich cost approximately 9 dollars, and you'd think at that price they could at least include a toothpick or some mayonnaise to keep the whole thing together, but no, I was left picking pieces of industrial bacon off my wrist as I began to drive. My companion and I decided that the watery quarter of a pickle was the best part of our purchase, and bickered over splitting it because we were so desperate for flavor. I will not be returning. You can find me waiting outside of Chipotle at 10:40 the next time you find me in Germantown. read more

I have come to this Panera many times throughout COVID for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I have always came inside for rapid pickup. Food is always prepared on time and tastes fresh. They've drawn lines on the floor for social distancing and have hand sanitizer available at the entrance. They are doing a very good job! read more

OMG!!! Haven't been to a Panera in months and this visit was so disappointing. We ordered a pick 2 and the four cheese wasn't grilled and the cheese was barely warm. The soups were lukewarm. This is the biggest Panera I've been in. Ours back home is tiny. The customer service was excellent and the food was delicious. I got the broccoli cheddar soup in a bread bowl. Their bread is so good! If you don't get your soup in the bread bowl then I recommend getting the baguette as your side! read more

After visiting the Panera off Century Blvd and then discovering this location near Wegmans, this is our preferred location. Plenty of parking, plenty of seating (usually), and not as crowded on the weekends. It can be a bit confusing during breakfast because people don't seem to know which register line to stand in, but it's not a disaster as some reviews seem to imply. I really appreciate that they relocated their plain black iced coffee to the dining room instead of the specialty drink counter. They do, however, need to improve their efficiency with restocking brewed coffee and cleaning tables in their dining room. read more

I went for lunch here on Saturday, 6/11 and it was a horribly ran location. There were 3 registers open and no direction on where people should stand. In my opinion, there should be one line and the next in line should be taken when a register finishes with a customer. People were basically just standing and cutting other people who were waiting. I wish it ended there, but it did not. After we ordered our food, it took 15 minutes for us to get it. That could be due to that fact that people (who's numbers weren't called) were coming up and just taking food. Literally, taking food that was not theirs. It happened on 3 separate occasions, all in a 15 minute period. I was mind boggled how no one behind the counter said anything, especially when multiple people who worked there saw what was happening. Then, finally someone said to another customer "excuse me, you're taking my food." How hard is it to tell people "mam/sir, please wait until your number is called." Not really sure how the mangers don't have control over this. Very disappointed, but the food was great! 1 star for no direction and partial madness. read more

Wow. I am praying that this was an off day. This is a beautiful facility. The employees are very professional during the ordering process. HOWEVER, it takes 20+ minutes of waiting in line to get your food after ordering. This is particularly gross because people hover over the semi-prepped food inquiring if their number has been called (probably because they can't believe that it taking so long?). My daughter placed an order for curbside pickup. I arrived & she pushed button indicating we had arrived. I then pulled up order on my phone which also had button to indicate arrival so I pressed & received message they had already received arrival info & our order would be out shortly. After sometime I went inside & saw order sitting up on counter. I asked to speak to manager who proceeded to hand me order & say thank you to which I replied it was a curbside order that I had been waiting for awhile. She stated unapologetic that I could/should have called to which I explained we had acknowledged arrival twice & advised it would be out shortly. She then said sometimes they don't get 2nd response or something like that which makes no sense based on response received back. I left unhappy only to have my daughter find a bug in her caesar salad. I proceeded back to store where Mgr apologized & asked if she wanted another which she did & also offered a dessert for inconvenience which I also accepted. She (mgr) handed me another salad & said "no bugs". At home my daughter emptied salad in bowl only to find another bug on lettuce. I phoned Mgr & requested full refund advising she should dump batch as bug looked similar to 1st. Also added we've been to that location for years & never had a problem. Will patronize other area location in future due to experience & mgr attitude. read more

I ordered the Cobb salad with no bacon (not able to eat it) and when I got home there was bacon. I couldn't come back in because it was 11 minutes after their closing time, so I tried my luck and gave them a call and to my surprise they answered! I told the manager who answered my problem and she told me to just simply come back in and they would give me a new one, apologizing for the error as well. Well I didn't make it in until a week later and asked the manager if I could still get my salad, he not only gave me my salad but also compt my sandwich too. They really are great there! Our toddler has severe dairy and peanut allergies. The staff at this Panera was WONDERFUL with accommodating for her. We already knew what bread was "safe" for her, but the staff went out of their way to change their gloves and prepare her food separately. The veteran staff were training new staff and took the time to explain and show them exactly what to do in a situation with food allergens. We have been to many places that do not show the care and safety demonstrated by this Panera staff. read more

This location is near my house so I will continue to go and take my chances, but literally the past three times I have gone, I have had to return to the restaurant after making it home just to see that they forgot a major item that I ordered. They've even forgotten entire French onion soup in my "pick 2" order. (You'd think I'd figure out that it's best to check my bag before leaving, but then again, is it too much to ask to expect food that I PAY for to be in the bag?) The workers at this location are great and very respectful and understanding. However I am not sure they know the menu well. I ordered what was supposed to be a power meditterranean chicken salad today and after asking the cashier person to confirm that the chicken salad was the same as the power one..I agreed to order it. What I got was a greek chicken salad when I got home as I had it as a to-go order. New location that's clean with friendly employees and a nice atmosphere. When I go, it's usually not that crowded. Last night I got a You Pick Two with the Avocado Chicken Cobb salad and Bacon Turkey Bravo and an apple to go. When I got back home and started eating, I noticed that they forgot the bacon in the salad and gave me a bread roll instead of an apple. I meet some friends at this Panera every week and its always clean and comfortable. The food is a little pricey, but always good. Unfortunately, the last 2 times I was there, the soda machine was out of syrup. I had to try two or 3 different flavors before I found one that wasn't just carbonated water:( read more

This review isnt to complain about the food or the cleanliness of the store. Im writing this review hoping that panera will be able to see this. There is a certain man who cleans trash and plates at this panera and his behavior towards asians is totally unacceptable in my opinion. I've been coming to this panera a few times because the workers who takes your orders and serves you food is excellent. But, this man is so nice to everyone else except towards asians. I've seen him do a lot of unacceptable things towards asians but is super nice towards caucasian and african americans. He even said to me "I don't do well with your kind anyways." I may be korean but I'm a US citizen and I should be treated equally like every other US citizen regardless of skin color. read more
