It's been a very long time since I have been here. I came here because they had a BOGO promotion through the app at the time and it's only a 4 day promotion. But that gave me this urge to try it out since it's been like.... 6 years since I had Potbellies? The food is pretty much the same as before, but what I like about this place was the staff. They were friendly and helpful and patient with me. The inside gave me a nostalgic feeling from when I used to work in the office and I would frequent another Potbelly location. I placed an order via EZ Cater for a company lunch. The delivery, the packaging - PERFECT! It was packaged in a way that made set-up so easy and smooth. The catering menu unfortunately doesn't offer a jar of hot peppers, which is a huge hit at our company. So, I had to call the store the day before delivery and place a phone order for the hot peppers to be included with the delivery. I spoke with Sam, the manager, who although during a busy time and day, was so helpful and patient with even that small order. When the delivery came, the receipt was attached to the jar of peppers so that I had it for auditing purposes! Such great customer service and execution, highly recommend! Very poor customer service! Never rely on anyone there to say you will get your refund. I have tried 2x to order thru their app and it even says delivery, though it never is and they ask to pick up from store (not door dash issue). I said I can not due to illness and they will not deliver or give refund back which includes a tip. Do not go to them or use them. At least, all the other shops give refunds or deliver food. Also, the app has some glitch unless they are trying to cover something up. read more

After getting our food, we tried to find a table that had been cleaned. Finding none, we cleaned it ourselves. The sub we had chosen was called the Wreck, having ham, turkey, salami, and Swiss. One slice of each meat made up the sub, and covered only 2/3rds of the bun. No one greeted us, no one smiled and the staff were occupied with their phones. All in all, a terrible lunch. read more

My wife loves Potbelly and this is the closest location to our house. We have been calling ahead to order due to COVID however we do walk in visits as well. The service is fairly quick unless you're behind someone who doesn't know what they want. I won't knock them for that! Any-who, this location is convenient to Clarksburg and is usually clean inside. The food at this location is solid and exactly what you expect to get at a Potbelly. The customer service however is overachieving. The staff here is very chill and polite and relaxed (in a good way). They aren't rude or seemingly inconvenienced if you customize your sandwich (which sounds like it should be the norm but it's not. So much so that I almost feel a little anxious asking for the toppings (everything) I do because I've had some really bad experiences at sandwich shops. I can strongly recommend this location be sure to be kind to the staff and show your appreciation. The one negative I can list is potbelly as a whole is really sort of expensive for what it is. It's a shame, my girl tried over and over to order a sandwich , they failed to produce anything she asked for. Wound up leaving without a sandwich, manager stated they are short staffed, so I guess when short staffed it's easier to provide the wrong food. I usually love the food in this place. Today I paid before my order was complete and added a tip. By the time it was done I was wishing I could take that tip back. First, when I asked for lettuce, tomato, mayo, mustard the server directed me to read the sign and read it out in order. Mustard, Mayo, Lettuce, Tomato. My 1st time to this potbelly location... Verdict: solid 3.5 stars. Service was swift..my order was correct..the workers were professional...and the place was clean. so what the heck is my hang up?! Some of the workers seemed like they don't really want to be there. They're like high school/college kids, so I can empathize with this..but their "kindness" seemed forced..like management gave them a stern 'teacher's warning'. My food was decent, but it wasn't as tasty as my previous excursions to other locations. I came in me and my family to order food , when I first came in the place was a mess and my order was taking a while. So I thought you know it's retail no problem I then decided to go into the restroom ... as I go in first thing that hit me was a strong smell coming from the back area ! But I ignored it until about 5 minutes later when I left the restroom and I started to smell something very very strong again. Then I got concerned! the back door opened and was left cracked all of a sudden a wind of smoke come right through the door as I was slowly walking out of the restroom it smelled like pure marijuana i couldn't believe it!! It was an employee African American had beads reddish type hair . I got a good look once more when she came from the back finally !!! I gave her my toppings twice she looked so out of it I didn't trust my food I was stunned to speak , disappointed I did ask another employee for a manager and they said he was not in that day I was so concerned because people were waiting for there food as was I , and the employe was smoking , for young lady to not do her job and she was rude as if i was disrupting her . taking drugs and not doing your job I had an issue with that food bag smelled like it as well. read more

So first of all this is not a happy or sad review. This particular potbelly is often overwhelmed on Friday nights. 1. They literally "forgot" our soup twice. 2. The food is good not great. 3. The wait for the food was incredibly long. Overall the restaurant is clean, the staff friendly and it is a good stop for a quick dinner. I like their salads and the chili is pretty good. I really like Potbelly's. I would describe it as a Subway's older hipster cousin who drinks cold brew and eats avocado toast for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I became more familiar with it last year when I was ordering catered lunches for my company. It is one of the very few places that deliver hot sandwiches (as compared to Panera and Subway that do cater but only cold cuts). This location is located in the Neelsville Village next to Giant, on the same strip as Sweet Frog. The few times that I've been here, it's been clean and not busy at all so I'm out in no time. My go-to order is a original chicken and cheddar (toasted) with lettuce, buttermilk ranch, onions, italian seasoning, and extra hot peppers. I even ask them to give me more in a container on the side. My food is always made right and the employees are ok. Pro tip: Download the Potbelly's app through Level Up.
