I want to give a huge shout out to Kaylah for going out of her way to fix my meal and ensure that I enjoyed my visit. When I got my food I was not happy. First the soup didn't have any croutons. I'm a person who likes some soup with my crackers, so not getting any while the rest of the table had theirs was not appreciated. So I went in to get some. When I got to the counter the food came out from the gal that was there told me to wait and proceed to good other things. Another gal saw and seemed to be confused by that response. After a minute she reached out and grabbed something in front of both of them, then handed me a packet of croutons. Why the first girl could grab them real fast to fix their mistake I don't know, but I appreciated the second gal helping. Thinking that was the end, I went back to my meal Only to find the sandwich was disgusting. I had ordered a fresh sandwich since I really wanted some green, but when I picked it up it seemed dry and empty. I opened it and counted 3-4 wilty pieces of lettuce. Frustrated, and know what kind of service I got the last time I went to the food counter I went back to the register this time. It took a minute but a guy came to ask what I needed. I showed him my plate, and explained what had happened. He said they would remake it. I kept the soup and bread (since I had already grabbed the rest) and left the sandwich. When yet another lady (Kaylah-I think that's the spelling) came out with a plate to bring it to me (she also came out to personally check what had happened) I wasn't very hopeful. However I immediately saw it was much better, full of lettuce, basil, dressing, and everything else it should have had to begin with. When I took a bite.... So good! So from being the third and last time I ever went to a Panera, now I can't wait to get another. So thank you for fixing my dining experience.

5/10/2026: Grand Marlin is top-notch!…read more We had an incredible experience here on May 10th. Our server, Brittany, gave excellent service and was incredibly accommodating. Since the three of us in our group aren't big eaters, we asked to split a portion of everything we ordered, and she didn't blink an eye. We started with the BBQ shrimp, which was fantastic! It's not a heavy, traditional BBQ flavor--it's more of a rich, New Orleans-style sauce. With six shrimp total, it was perfect for splitting, especially with the delicious bread served alongside it to soak up that amazing sauce. Nom!! Two of us split the wedge salad, and Brittany happily accommodated our special request for ranch instead of blue cheese. Our other friend had the kale salad and thoroughly enjoyed it. For the main course, the three of us split the filet mignon, which came with a dollop of mashed potatoes. The char on the steak was absolutely fabulous, and the potatoes paired with it perfectly! The restaurant is fairly dark and can get a bit noisy on busy nights, but we enjoyed our time immensely. Grand Marlin has private rooms and is easily the most high-end restaurant on Pensacola Beach. Our total was $178.00 before tip, which is well worth it. The attire ranges anywhere from dressy to beach casual, they have several great seating options for special occasions, and there's even a gift shop with some great finds. For anyone who remembers, this used to be the Boy on a Dolphin years ago. As an honorary Pensacolian since 1975, I consider myself a bit of an expert on all things Pensacola Beach--and you won't be disappointed here! Pro tip: Get a group photo by the bay before leaving. Even at night, it shows off those perfect Pensacola views.

The Grouper Picatta was fresh and I would order it again and again!! It was the best fish I have had in a LONG time--and we live in South Florida surrounded by great seafood restaurants. We both had the same dish. Our friends had the wasabi tuna and raved about it. All four of us shared the brownie sundae. Would come to this restaurant again. Great sunset views too. Parking was close and easy to get a spot--this was a week day and they were packed! We went on their wine special day for 50% off--nice surprise.
