So unexpected from looking at it from the outside, but the menu online looked promising so we went on it!!! Yahtzee!!! A pizza place that sells liquor and not just beer, yes please! Nevermind the amazing decor and seating. They have a clock that is set for 2004 and is about 12 hrs off! Pretty funny. Ordered the Parm bites, great taste and of course we forgot to take a picture before chowing half the order down. Great price and hubby like the marinara it came with. For lunch we each got personal size pizzas and for only $11 each, it was well worth it! This was the first time in over 19 years I actually ate my bones. Last place was a place in Hawaii called Bostons. Hubby was surprised when he saw me eating them. I got The Popeye and yum! Hubby got the Deluxe Combo and same reaction. Service was not good as we sat for over 15 minutes without anyone even acknowledging us as the hostess did not let the server know we had been seated. The restaurant was clean and had typical pizza shop decor. The food looked good but unfortunately left a lot to be desired. Pizza was very bland and the crust was very chewy. The spaghetti and meatballs were nothing more than just okay as the sauce and meatballs were bland and the pasta was over cooked. This is a great restaurant , out of the way in a mall with other restaurants and stores. The ambiance is pizza place bistro, the menu is large, their personal pizzas are wonderful and the meatball sub was luxurious and tasty. We have eaten there 4-5 times over the last two visits to Gulf Breeze. It's a good place for pizza and salads, sandwiches and pasta. We will come back, and next time I will try to take pictures of the food and the menu. read more

This was a delivery order on a Friday afternoon. We ordered the classic Detroit style pizza and an order of spaghetti and meatballs. The pizza was to have a buttery airy crust......it wasn't. It seemed to be pre baked and tasted like musty rye bread. It was 6 squares, and overcooked. One slice of pepperoni per slice. Inedible. The spaghetti and meatballs came in what would normally be a child's size portion from other restaurants. The sauce was way too sweet and thick. The meatball wasn't the worse we've had, but not worth a reorder. As a matter of fact, we won't order from here again. We've had better pizza and spaghetti served hot and fresh. This was our first experience with Rotolo's Pizzeria. We were on a trip to Pensacola, staying in Gulf Breeze. Rotolo's was recommended to us by the desk clerk at the hotel we were staying. I place the order online for takeout and confirmed order was to be ready in about 30 minutes. We arrived a bit early but decided to check to see if our order was ready and the person manning the takeout counter stated that it was just coming out in a couple of minutes. Inside the restaurant, the atmosphere was great. Very clean, lively and packed. (Always a good sign) Our order was just coming out and the associate checked the product before handing us the take out order. He had a few words with the cooks and turned to us to apologize, but he stated that the Philly Cheese Steak sandwich that was part of our order was not wrapped properly and was a huge mess inside the box. He stated that he couldn't let it go out the door in that condition, but another one was being prepared and would be ready in 4 minutes. As promised, 4 minutes passed and another sandwich appeared. After multiple apologies by the staff, we took out our order and returned to our hotel for our dinner in. We had ordered a medium pizza, a calzone and the Philly Cheese Steak. My wife stated that her Philly Cheese Steak was the best she could remember. Our grandson stated that his pizza was really good (and he is really picky!!!), and my Calzone was also top notch. No one was wearing a mask, not even the people making the food. We were told 20 minutes for our pick up order, we arrived 20 minutes after the phone call and proceeded to have to wait indoors with all maskless people for another half an hour. When our food finally came out, the lady was very rude and told us it was our fault because we changed our order twice. (We did not, she thought we were somebody else.) Our experience here was fabulous. We walked in at a peak time and were seated quickly. It was also Trivia night which added to the fun. The pizza is a thicker crust and a sweet sauce. Now the eh... between delivery and takeout, it has been extremely slow lately. I ordered takeout this week and was told 30 minutes. I arrived at that time and they hadn't even put my pizza in the oven yet and was told '5 more minutes'. So to kill some time, I ran over to the grocery store next door. I came back in 10 minutes and was told they had dropped the pizza in the oven so it would be '5 more minutes ' again. 10 minutes later and almost 25 minutes past the original 30 minutes estimate, we got our food. We are from out of town and this pizza place is right by Publix grocery store in Pensacola. We went in thinking a pizza sounded good and I'm so glad we did! We loved the food! I wish I had taken a pic of the meatballs but my daughter ate them so fast I was lucky to get a bite! The sauce on the meatballs was sweet and different from the Marinara sauce on the pizzas. We also had the walnut cranberry spinach salad and it had very fresh crispy leaves and paired with the sweet dressing it was perfect. The pizzas were great (see pics!). We went and tried the gelato. First place to eat on vacation after a long drive. Quiet for lunch and the staff were all friendly! Son's pizza he boasted as Good. Second child's cheese sticks, was a cheese pizza minus the marina, which was served in the side. He didn't like, but I sampled it and the crust was good, but not for cheese sticks. Wife's salad, well its salad and anything is better than Salata, they even made her a special spicy ranch dressing. My chicken Florentine wrap, was good but different. We drove from Gulf Breeze to eat here on our vacation with the family. It was a slow Sunday evening. We waited over a hour, and they finally brought out a Luke-warm Pizza that had been sitting in the window. The dough wasn't cooked enough IMO. They never brought my sons spaghetti and meatballs. We asked the waitress and we are pretty sure the order was never put in. After ten minutes she brought out a plate of pasta and told us the meatballs was on the way. We sent the food back. She didn't come back out after another ten minutes so my husband talked to the manager. She told us the waitress was having a mental breakdown in the back and had gotten bad news.
