The last time I went to a Panera Bread restaurant, I was very disappointment that they had discontinued my favorite panini sandwiches and replaced them with flatbread sandwiches. Kiosk ordering just puts you at the back of the line as people keep walking up. For some reason they do not realize hazelnut is their number one coffee and can't keep it full - or brew it in under 20 min. A little planning would go a long way. read more

I paid extra to have avocado instead of chicken on two menu items. The avocado on both was black, not just turning a little. I asked for a fresh slice and was told it was fine that they just turn when cut. I did not eat them because they were bad. I feel that he was rude and if they didn't have any fresh to serve to begin with they should of told me that and refunded my money. This is not how you serve food. Went there for lunch. One of us ordered coffee, one ordered hot tea. Went to get it and all the coffees and water were cold. You could tell they weren't fresh at all. Asked them if they could make fresh and they said they would. Waited till after lunch to ask again. Told the lady at check-in that no one has gotten anything new since before I had my lunch. Pretty much was called out by a very rude woman. Said I was wrong that their coffee wasn't cold. A manage came out and said he was sorry but the was a microwave there if I needed one but that he had added some fresh coffee to the cold stuff and the was no reason it wouldn't be hot. It was. I have never been to Panera before, but received a gift card and decided to take my two children for lunch. When we ordered, I told the cashier we have never been there before, thinking he would explain the process or make a suggestion. No, he was too busy laughing and joking with the cashier next to him. I ordered a kids meal and then my daughter and I got a half sandwich and a cup of soup/salad. The cashier never asked me if I had a rewards card or even if I wanted one. Over $38 for one adult and two children to eat. That's insane! If I'm going to pay almost forty dollars for lunch for two kids and myself, I'm going to a sit down restaurant where they bring your drinks and food and clear your plates! The bread was so hard that our teeth hurt after from chewing. My sandwich was mostly onions, barely any cheese and three slivers of steak. My son said his mac and cheese was good and that was about the only positive comment made. Panera is overrated and I have never heard anything good about it, and now I know why. read more

Panera's are typically great places and I have enjoyed them for years but this locations is always a disaster. Not once or twice but every time I come here I have to overlook something. Whether it's the wrong order, awful service, or they just ran out of something I ordered. So this time I order from the drive thru and the person in front of me order was messed up so after 15 minutes I hear "here is your money back" then I get to pull up and everyone there is confused and doesn't know what I ordered. Finally, like sometimes, I give up and drive to another location about 10 minutes away. So if you have the craving for Panera save yourself the start of a bad day. Chaos. The last three times, this being our very last time., has been awful. The staff is nice, but very stressed and it shows. We could hear a person yelling at the staff from the food pickup area. The food is what you expect. The bread bowl was delicious, however, I'm not one to usually notice dust or dirty floors, but their place needs a deep cleaning. This place is so gross, it was only 10 and there were tub of dishes and crumbs of dishes everywhere! I found an ant on my table and let the girl at the counter (septum piercing??) I generally like Panera, but this location needs some work. We have had some minor issues in the past with slowness and less than good customer service. We stopped in for a few breakfast sandwiches last Saturday and by 9:30 in the morning they did not have any bagels left and also on had ciabatta bread (and no other choices) available. Additionally my sandwich was supposed to have the eggs scrambled and they were over easy. My wife's was supposed to have bacon and did not. When I went to the counter to tell them, the person working it asked "do we have any bacon left" to another employee and they handed me cold bacon in a soup cup. Don't expect bagels after 3:00 PM. They don't make enough for the day. They are often short on focaccia bread and soups of the day. I wish they stocked more so I could enjoy these things at night as well as during the day. The staff is friendly but they don't move quickly compared to other Panera breads. Love Panera! Love the low fat Strawberry Smoothies and Cinnamon Crunch bagel.....I tell myself it's a great breakfast with the low fat smoothie :)....kinda like diet coke and french fries. It's a shame that they have let this location run down. It was good when it first opened, but now it has gone downhill.
