Then, there was NO coffee. When asked, it was "brewing." Decaf coffee was filled about 15 min. later, but none of the others. Employees had very bad attitudes toward the customers. I've been really impressed with the ease of the car side delivery on to-go orders. Today I decided to pick it up inside in the hope that the dining room would be open. It was! I picked up my food from the convenient shelf and found a safe seat away from others. It was really nice to get to eat inside for a change. I would also like to give praise for their great ordering Ap. It makes it a breeze to customize the sandwich and get exactly what I want. This location is awful. The last two times I've gone they have messed up. Last week I ordered a egg and cheese sandwich online. They gave me a chicken sandwich instead but I didn't find out until I didn't got home. Today I did an online order again for a pizza. I went to the speaker when I got the text it was ready and they told me to go to space number 2 and they would bring it out to me. Martin, the catering manager, was really helpful and easy to work with in putting the order together and making sure that everything went smoothly. We arrived to the restaurant at 8:45 when ordering we were told "we close at 9 but I'm not running you off" then they were out of 3 items I tried to order. The Dr Pepper was not working and we were told it would not work until tomorrow morning. I received my food at 9:00 while the manager walked past my table three times then asked at 9:15 "how much longer?" The drink machine was also turned off at 9:00 so we could not get a refill. It's my study place. Of course I have to block out the loud bad music playing. Usually music is someone trying to sound deep and philosophical but is shallow and repetitive. Anyway, the food has been consistent and fresh. A little pricey, but hey, I am blocking one of their tables to study so I consider it a lease payment. Eating inside the cafe itself is pretty good, considering all the remodels that it has gone though and how much easier it is to manage your food when you order it inside, but the drive thru is just foolish. I have had two terrible experiences here so if I could give them zero stars I would. First time we got a salad and asked for chicken on the side, they added chicken and then when we got to the window said they couldn't give us it on the side because the salads are "prepackaged". Annoying and a lie because my husband went in after and they did it no problem. Then last night after being released from the hospital my husband took me to Panera to get my favorite soup and salad. Together we got two salads. Neither of them came with any dressing. We realized this once we got home. Then I attempted to call the store at least 10 times between yesterday and today and it just rings and rings and rings until it hangs out. Clearly they don't give two craps about doing their job correctly, making things right, getting any kind of phone orders or having even remotely "ok" customer service. Overpriced and mediocre food, plus terrible service. Went there last night, and all the employees liked like they would rather be anywhere but there. No one smiling, no one talking, kid at the register acted as if I was a nuisance. So placed our order, which came out to $23 for 3 soups and 2 half sandwiches, and looked around. They had boxes stored 10 feet high behind the counter, cluttered and in disarray. Not pleasing to look at. Got the food home, and it was good, but surprising how little we got! 3 tiny cups of soup, maybe 6 oz each, and 2 half sandwiches that looked like a quarter of what I could make at home. Pick 2 for $8.50, and this is all I get?? Ridiculous! The last time we went about a year ago our soups were only half full, sent a message on the companies website, an email was sent to me saying someone would contact me, no one ever did. I won't be going back. With all the other paces to eat good food and get great service, this won't be on my list anymore. read more

"We only serve potato soup on Mondays and Wednesdays...and on Tuesdays we wear pink!" OK, I made that last part up, but what gives with the totally random soup schedule? I came here on a cold day after thinking about how good a cup of potato soup would have been all afternoon, but unfortunately my craving and the cold weather arrived on a Sunday. Why is potato soup rationed to two totally random days during the week, while I see the same other lame-o soups up on the menu every time I walk through the door? I should note, all Panera's I've been to seem to play this game of musical soups, but I don't have the time or patience to keep up with each location's schedule. Maybe the company need's some sort of soup tracker app, or they could simply not continue to disappoint their customers by offering their full menu every day of the week. Oh everyone already knows all about Panera. It is great - salads, soups, breads, sweets, everything. Plus a frequent flier card where you get free stuff and discounts all the time. Try their current steak salad - it is pretty good! Anyway, this location up in Hendersonville is in what appears to be a shopping and dining enclave near the highway and right down the street from the hospital. So it has convenient location! Plus this place is HUGE! I mean, forget those other ones that are all packed out during the lunch rush - this place had plenty of room for everyone. Plus patio seating! Looks like it would be a good place for groups to even meet up, that's how roomy this place was. read more

Tremendous improvement! I previously gave this Panera a much lower review due to both unpleasant interactions with employees and the run-down location... But I have to give it to them, both have improved tremendously! When I dropped back in after a long absence, folks were incredibly nice and there's been repaint/reno to the entire space. No complaints at all, definitely drop in. read more
