I like eating here before my night classes at san jac. I come here a lot, and it's good most of the time. The past few times have been disappointing though. I decided to try their Mac n cheese, and when I got it, it was cold on the top, and barely warm on the bottom. Also have ordered the roasted turkey and avocado blt, to only get a blt. Not a big deal. Stopped by this Panera for a break from our drive to El Paso to relax for a few hours. Pretty much the same experience I've had with any other Panera. Good, fast service for good food that is a little overpriced. Regardless, I still come here for their phenomenal cinnamon crunch bagels. Just as good as all the rest! Opened Tuesday October 15th, this location is brand new and beautiful! Menu includes a huge variety of sandwiches, soups, salads, fruit, baked pastries, and tons of breads... Even cupcakes! Order, and they bring it to your table. I order rapid pickup about once a month. I'm constantly reminded of why I don't eat here more often. The baguette you get on the side is constantly hard as a rock. They don't call you when they're out of something, they just choose replacements for you, which aren't even CLOSE to what you originally ordered. My husband wanted a bagel with cream cheese and ended up with some kind of chocolate chip muffin. The only reason it got two stars is because the food is actually good here. read more

I went on a weeknight (Thursday) with my 4 year old. We ordered a pb &j kids meal and for myself, a bowl of tomato soup and a bacon and tomato grilled cheese. We ordered at 6:08. A few other people in the place but they were all already eating. Time passed and no food came out. At 6:23 I asked about our order and they lady with short hair was really rude and said they didn't have anything. At this point I see my daughters sandwich and yogurt on a plate and a bowl of soup sitting there. The guy in back said he was working on my sandwich. He had to get more cheese. I take my daughters food and sit back down. She starts eating. They bring out my food. By this time the soup is so cold, I don't want to touch it and my bacon tomato grilled cheese has more tomato than the bacon and cheese put together. Worst experience ever. My daughter called in a rapid pick up we got there 10 minutes after the pick up time. The employee said the order didn't come through so we waited ten minutes didn't complain. The order was given to us no sorry for the wait. We got to my daughters house the order was wrong only got 11 not 12. Bagels were not what we ordered. Forgot cream cheeses. I didn't know what she ordered so my bad. We called them to let them know and they said we will train our employees better. So what about the order didn't care. I love Panera Bread, but will never go to this location because the order didn't just go through the did not check the rapid order and we patiently waited and didn't complain, but to mess up the order that bad and not make it right isn't good customer service. I've been to Panera a few times, mostly to pick up a breakfast sandwich or something before going to work but never for lunch. The food is not bad but in my opinion it is overpriced. I met my wife there and I ordered a whole sandwich and she got the pic 2, a half sandwich with a soup. We stopped and picked up some smoothies before knowing that the drinks were not included. This is the worst panera ever. 10am on a Saturday and they are out of breads for two out of three breakfast sandwiches. They swapped a bread for a smaller bread without even asking. And on top of that, forgot the egg on an egg breakfast sandwich. No service recovery and all workers had a terrible attitude. read more

This Panera continually messed up orders, has slow service, and runs out of items. Leadership is clearly lacking. I would stop going but it's one of the few places I can get lunch at 9:30 am. I have been here several times and usually have a decent experience, but it seems to have gone downhill lately. When we arrived tonight, we waited over 5 minutes before anyone appeared behind the counter to take our order (she had been sitting with some friends who were dining). We then waited over 20 minutes for our food, despite being literally the only diners in the restaurant waiting for food. When it did come out, the quality was poorer than usual and we had to wait even longer for a smoothie. The whole time we waited, we could see employees standing around and hear the cooks laughing and joking around. Overall, poor and very unprofessional service. read more

Today was my first visit to this Panera Cafe 4118, I am not a frequent visitor even for other Panera location, however since this is close by to my work so I Thought to try something different today for the lunch. Being Muslim we have very limited choice to order therefore was trying using some veg option thus abstaining chicken or other meat that are not being processed or can be considered as Zabiha Halal. Nevertheless, I ordered for Broccoli Cheddar soup along with Cesar salad. It was a very pleasant experience that the lady from the kitchen side came all the way outside in the waiting area and shared that the soup I ordered still has chicken broth as ingredients so if I still would like to go for it, she also suggested me to go for cream of tomatoes as that is all vegetables. I am so impressed to see her focus towards customers needs that she saw my order and my name as Muhammed and shared with me the detail following fair customer practices. Honesty is vital pillar of all religions, let alone Islam. It is heartening to see when staff follows these traits in their business practices. I wish if I could have asked her name to include here for the appreciation. The cashier name on my Check number 42604 is appearing as Ashar, which sounds Muslim, however he may have not shared this information before hand may be due to the lack of information on the ingredients. They get my order wrong every time. I really like what they have at panera I just wish the workers would pay attention to the order. I've gotten chicken salads without chicken and the wrong bread every time. I get the same bread every time I go and they always mistake it for white bread instead of whole grain oat. I was in town visiting family and stopped here with my mom on 5/16/17 around noon. The worker at the register was very kind and helpful in helping us decide what to get. The young man who was handing out the meals was very kind and welcoming. He also made suggestions on an extra I could add to the potato soup to give it a bang. I was interested in trying it so he brought it to me to add. It was an amazing addition as well as the recommendations by the young lady working the front. This was the best service I have ever received in a Panera bread before. Not to mention the tables were all being cleaned constantly as the gentleman cleaning them was on top of it. These workers were getting their jobs done while making everyone feel extremely welcome. I wish I lived in the area so I could go all the time just because the service was amazing. read more

Panera has always been the special treat for my family. We look forward fresh salads, warm soups, and crispy chips after a difficult day or in celebration of a good test score for my primary school age children. Much to my chagrin today's drive-thru visit to your café location 204118 did not meet my normal expectations. My order totaling $48.30 was not correctly prepared. Although the store is located near my home I noted the time was near closing for the store and chose to call and alert the staff to the missing items, and incorrect order. My initial plan was to request a credit, but multiple calls to the store resulted in deliberate disconnections initiated by your staff. After asking a neighbor to keep an eye on my children I raced to the store worried the next day would be too late to have the issue resolved. The apologetic manager on duty explained she was not empowered to compensate me with a full refund, but could provide the missing chicken from the two Greek Salads and the missing tuna sandwich. I chose the partial refund as I was anxious about reprisal from the staff or manager regarding preparation of my food. I was uncharacteristically and visibly frustrated by the lack of concern as the staff were dismissive in the face of my growing frustration. I requested a full refund, was rebuffed with a comment that rang hollow, "I can only refund you for what you didn't get." It was apparent my time, frustration, inconvenience, and patronage was not considered significant enough to merit a refund, store credit, or even empathy. I've visited this Panera Bread on a few occasions to study. The atmosphere is good for studying and the food along with the service are good as well. There is free Wifi available but during peak hours (10AM-2PM) the wifi is limited and times out after two (2) hours of use. Not good if your in the middle of an online assignment or class. Other than that it's a good study stop and place to grab a bit to eat. read more

We frequent this establishment because it is close, we enjoy the food and thus far my experiences had all been very pleasant and accommodating however this visit was a let down. Upon ordering I asked for my croissant to be warmed up and the young girl informed me they couldn't warm it up for me and pointed to a microwave in the coffee area and told me I could warm it myself. Weird because they have always warmed them up for me in the past. Second incident, after ordering and sitting down about about 8 minutes later we were informed they were out of breadbowls for the BB Mac & cheese and offered a larger order of Mac but NO bread. What is the point of bread bowl without the bread? Third incident, my cup of potato soup was more empty then full. It is clear there is an adult supervision or management on the premises at 8 pm as the playing around and the conversation amongst the employee was inappropriate. Most of the time I have positive experiences there. Great atmosphere, delicious food, okay prices and of course the free Wifi! The past two times though have been a little disappointing. The first time they had run out of some breakfast items and couldn't tell me when another would be ready. It was disappointing because I was on a tight schedule and could not afford to wait. The second time, this morning, I drove up and was happy to hear they had their breakfast items ready to go. When I get to my destination and settle down at my desk for breakfast, I am welcomed to the taste of spinach, bacon, and... plastic. Yes, plastic. Part of a container or ingredient bag had found its way into my breakfast! While I'm positive this was completely unintentional, I still want it to be brought to their attention so they are more careful with their food prep in the future. read more
