Arrived at this location to pick up my food at the specified time. Received both app notification as well as a confirmation email that it was ready for pickup. It was not. I figured ok I can wait... 10 min later still nothing. Nobody even checked on me as I sat there waiting. Pretty sure manager passed by as well. After waiting so long I decided to ask what's going on.. the employee then looked into the bag that was sitting next to him on the prep bench the whole time and finally asked, "Is this your order?" Keep in mind that bag was sitting there the whole time, untouched, and no other orders came in or out. Food was cold, not fresh, and service sucked. Just when I thought I had given up on Panera, in walks our catering order from LaVerne. The last few times I have eaten at Panera (not this one), the food was terrible. The bagels were small and stale. The coffee cakes were meh. The cookies were flavorless. The sandwiches, nasty. But today, we had a catering order delivered for a meeting, and everything was so tasty and fresh. We had an assortment of sandwiches and salads, chips, and cookies. This location is nice, clean, looks to be somewhat updated compared to some other locations. I wanted to go here as a study spot and to get a drink but the atmosphere was a little too loud to focus in my opinion (in-store music plus the sound of other customers chatting, taking calls, and watching videos on speaker). So, I wouldn't recommend it to study by yourself, but it would be good if you wanted to do a group study or to get together with friends. It was nice to order using the tablets, but it was a little confusing following all the steps to pay and set up the buzzer. The pick 2 option is always a go to choice. I got the wild rice soup and Caesar salad with chicken. It was a great amount of food that was still light but satisfying. The restaurant was overall pretty clean. The bussing areas were getting pretty piled high with used dishes that hadn't been picked up so it got a little difficult to buss without knocking things over. read more

I placed an online order with this Panera location for a Baker's Dozen of sliced bagels, submitted a full week in advance. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. When my husband picked up the order, he was handed a paper carry-out bag with a handle, and to our surprise, the bagels had been tossed directly into the bag--with no plastic bag or liner, just loose bagels inside. They were also not sliced, despite the clear request made when placing the order. Additionally, the bag had no closure, leaving the bagels exposed to potential contamination and likely to become stale quickly. When I called the store to raise my concerns, I was told this is the "new way of packaging" bagels. If that's truly the case, I find it unacceptable. While I didn't expect individual wrapping, I did expect the bagels to be placed in a plastic bag first, and then into the carry-out bag--basic food safety and freshness standards. If this is indeed the new policy, I'll unfortunately need to find another place to purchase bagels. I've always associated Panera with quality and care, but this experience fell well short of those expectations. read more

I was redeeming the promo gift cards that I have received and was able to stack the gift cards on one order online through the app. I ordered the Smokehouse BBQ Chicken Sandwich and Asian Sesame Salad with Chicken with chips. The app was easy to use. There is tons of parking since it's in a plaza. It was quick and easy using the Rapid Pick-Up. The salad was pretty bland so I wouldn't order that again, but the sandwich was delicious and filling. They forgot my utensils when I did select that I need it. Don't get too excited about the asiago bagel stack sandwiches. They are much smaller than they look on TV or as advertised. The size of the bagel is smaller than an English muffin. You'll get one thin slice of that cheese, a sliver of meats and little bit of the veggies. I don't know if its worth $8. I didn't hate it but I like the Toasted Frontega Chicken sandwich much more. This is my go-to Panera Bread whenever I want to pick up some bagels usually one dozen + cream cheese or pastries for work. It's on my way to the office. I would pre-order online and set a time for pickup. Once I get here, my order is already placed on the shelf and ready for pickup. I can just grab it and go. They don't even check for ID or anything. I mean couldn't anyone just grab someone else's order and go. I think they need to revisit this business flow unless they haven't encountered any mishaps. Anyway, it's very convenient nowadays to place an order either online, in-store kiosk, or walk up to the cashier. Actually, a lot of places are incorporating the in-store kiosk. I guess this minimizes contact with the staff due to COVID-19 which is a good thing. But it also means less staff due to minimal hiring which may not be a good thing. My favorite bagel is the Cinnamon Crunch and 2nd fav is Jalapeno & Cheddar. They are just delish especially when they are fresh out of their oven. Soft and chewy + cream cheese... I'm in heaven! Salivating right now for some bagels LOL. Staff is usually friendly. Store is clean and organized. Plenty of dine-in seating area. They have drive-thru. I've seldom dine-in though. Super frustrating experience. I asked for them to use fresh Mac and cheese, because once it's been warmed up it tastes bad. The noodles absorb the liquid and get over cooked and mushy and the cheese tastes burnt. They're trying to tell me they just made this, but it's clearly been in the warmer for a while, and it's gross. They gave me a new one that's exactly the same as the first one. If they would have warmed up a new one that was cold it could be delicious. But they wanted to argue with me and offer to cancel the order instead of just giving me what I asked for in the first place. These guys need to stop being so lazy and prepare orders when they are placed. Having the Mac ready in advance makes it disgusting.
