Strawberry Poppyseed Chicken Salad & Smokehouse BBQ Chicken Sandwich
    Alan M.

Panera is a great place to grab a solid meal & enjoy a wonderful ambiance. As you can see in the photos, the salads were amazing. On top of that I think the Smokehouse Sandwich is the best sandwich in town. We ate for under $25, including drinks, and took a pile of salad home. Can't beat that!

    My burnt bread sandwhich.

I was so shocked at how quickly we got thru the long line at this Panera. That's simply unheard of with Panera. The guy at the window was really nice and processed my payment and got my food to me so quickly. And then, I saw it. They made my sandwhich with burnt bread! I had to pull the burnt crust off because it not only tasted terrible but was impossible to bite thru. The bread that was left was horribly chewy and because the crust had to be torn off, not enough bread to contain the sandwhich ingredients. So my need to eat while driving turned into a huge mess. So frustrating. Why would you make a sandwich knowing the bread you're using is burnt and crappy?

Very good food, very friendly service. Love their corn chowder in the summer. The poppy seed fruit salad is a new favorite of mine.

Soooo slow. It took like 10 mins for a latte in an empty restaurant. And there was explanation or reason as to why.

Mangia! Never would have expected to find such a great Italian deli here in Florida. Counter…read moreservice was so polite. Table delivery came as items were finished. Lasagna portions could definitely serve 2 for lunch. Garlic knots were some of the best I've had- you're going to want more than the 1 served with your entree. Flatbread pizza was tasty. Very thinly sliced eggplant for the parm: kudos! Breading was thin but held up nicely to the sauce. Sauce flavor is bright and tastes just crushed. Only observation is that a little bit of olive oil and garlic with extended cooking time would produce a deeper flavor but to each his own. We fo enjoyed our lunch: worth jumping off the highway.

I expected to walk into the scent of marinara, herbs and garlic wafting through the air but no real Italian restaurant vibe going on. Pasta is overcooked (soft). Marinara has no flavor and a little watery. Salad looked better than it tasted with blah olives fresh from a can where they were soaked in water. Lady at the counter wore the same pair of gloves doing numerous activities over the course of 45 minutes. Other employees sat around a table staring at their phones looking totally checked out while chairs were left out in the way, random leftover Napkins were on tables and dirty dishes stacked up at the return station. Not worth it.

The kind lady bussing tables was outstanding, and efficient. The place is well lighted and kept clean especially for the size. The turkey is always done to perfection, the ham yummy and plenty of sides and desserts. The salad bar was completely vacant, however...this was somewhat disheartening, considering how supposedly "health minded" American adults are these days. That was our first stop of the day. Cabbage slaw, carrot salad, macaroni salad, olives, huge delicious slices of beautiful tomatoes, gorgeous slices of cucumbers, nicely green lettuce, several types of peppers and ham. Cheese, salad dressing of every kind...best stop so far! Smoked pork, ribs, fried fish, yeast rolls, sliced roast beef, ham, turkey slices, meatloaf, fried chicken, baked chicken, green bean casserole, mac & cheese, cornbread dressing, turkey gravy, mashed potatoes, lima beans, black eyed peas, creamed corn, greens, rice, fried okra... Pumpkin pie, pecan pie, lemon meringue, peach cobbler, soft serve ice cream, chocolate cream pie, cookies, brownies...oh, I'm exhausted just from trying to list everything! There was so so so much more than what I even listed here, plus the absolute best waitress and Arnold Palmer maker! Why cook at home, burden yourself, spend HOURS cleaning up afterwards and hours more packing everything away? Take yourself and your loved ones out to Ole Times Country Buffet just one time for the holidays and you'll never go back to cooking again! (I sure haven't)

My family got some of these food items as a midnight snack kind of thing. My sister really enjoyed the buffalo salad. My brother-in-law love quesadillas. And the beer hit the spot. Our server, Liyah, was quick and knowledgeable. All drinks are 2 for 1 all day every day? She brought us each 2 beers.... They averaged 3.50$ per glass! And appetizers were also quick and good! We had pretzel bites and a French onion soup that was perfectly browned and cheesey! For dinner 2 of us got chicken sandwiches and 2 of us got the garlic butter smash burger... delish!!! Tots and sweet potato fries were both wonderful! During dinner, I developed the hiccups... our sever brought me a lime to try to get rid of them. I'd never heard of this but it worked!! Great meal, great atmosphere, amazing service!
