Traveling for vacation from IL. Updated location with the "fast lane kiosk", but doesnt attract enough customers for it. Nice and clean, but the staffing and manager need additional training. While waiting, the staff lost the catering order in front of us. The manager proceeded to yell at the staff for the lost order. Then, they placed our two item order (bagel and milk) wrong. Tried to walk up and the woman was very snotty when telling us she wouldn't take our order as walk up. So we disconnected the trailer and went to the drive through. Came in for lunch today , good lunch crowd , dining room was clean and I was greeted right away. Ordered a Chicken Ceasar today, usually get the Fuji Apple , equally as delicious. The atmosphere is classy, servers make frequent checks (the manager came to get my used dishes), quick and timely service (in the middle of the lunch rush; my whole experience was quite enjoyable and lasted precisely an hour) that had a friendly vibe. My bread-bowl soup was exactly as pictured on T.V., and my only regret was getting my picture out of focus (I didn't want to appear the dork taking a picture of my food in the middle if the one o'clock rush). The resturant is clean and it has great looking products. I was studying and I had to wait for service on four separate occasions which was annoying. The associates were not paying attention to the line and had no real concern for making sure everyone was getting the assistance they needed. I finally spoke up and shared my experience then I received the service that I needed. The fountain teas are delicous and refreshing. read more

I went into this location this morning and while I was waiting for my food, the lady handling all of the bread was COUGHING on the bread. She did it 3 times. I counted. I have been to this location a couple of times. I have been to other locations, and I think this location needs help... Employees seem to not know what they are doing. And soup seems to be under cooked and not consistant. As usual for this area seems a buisness will go thru quite a bit of help before finding the right fit. Maybe is the issue here. Happy to see a Panera in Lake City. Love the option of ordering online for rapid pickup. Food was ready in 10 minutes and accurate. And tasty. I took off one star for the lack of parking. I have 2 year old and every time we go i like the soup and always get samples for my kid and the neverrrrrr have a problem letting her try 2-3 samples of different kinds to see what she likes! I really like Panera's food and pastries! During the summer they have a strawberry poppyseed salad and it is my favorite. I would give it 5 stars but, the drive through can take a long time and also they charge too much for sure! For just half a salad you end up paying around $7-8 and that doesn't include a drink! Gave Panara Bread another shot, haven't been disappointed since. I've become a regular during lunch. A turkey bravo sandwich and a cup of broccoli and chedder soup. If I'm feeling something more light, I'll get a salad and so far, they all have been great! I got a ham a Swiss flat bread the other morning and a regular iced vanilla latte and it was really good. This morning I'm munching on a bacon, cheese and egg sandwich on a cheese bagel and so far it's my new favorite! I also got an iced mocha, and the syrup is all clumpy and gross so I'm definitely not gonna get that again. But I won't let it ruin my experience :) read more

Today we visited after a bad visit on 5/31/16 to give it another try, my daughter had the clam chowder in a bread bowl and I had the turkey bravo sandwich. Much to my dismay she had about a quarter of the amount of soup in her bread bowl because they had not cut out enough bread to use the correct amount , then I removed the tomato off my bread only to find a short black hair on my turkey, when I asked to speak to a manager a new manager who was not even clocked in said we are trying to fix some issues please try us again in the future, really?????? I could not speak more highly about how warm and generous the staff at this Panera bread is. My family and I stopped by and did a rapid pick up order while we were traveling through town to visit family. The manager gave me a very kind greeting as I was about to walk out the door, and my son spied a delicious looking muffin at the bakery counter. The woman Susanne who was working at the counter used her own personal pastry voucher to give my son a muffin that he wanted. Little things like this that are totally unnecessary make traveling with a young child much more enjoyable. Thanks again! read more

I am personally not a fan of all the bread. My significant other loves it tho and I'd say he goes in there at least 2 times per week. One time I remember he went there 2 times in one day. Since he is there so often, you'd think the management would show some appreciation. But no. The tall older gentleman who is always there seems to have quite a sour attitude toward the customers. I know when they first opened on 2 occasions, we had trouble with our order and when we tried to sort it out by telling him what was wrong he got pretty loud and gruff with us. More recently, my boyfriend went in and, while waiting for me to arrive, ordered a drink. When I got there, we both ordered soup and sandwiches and I ordered a drink. I guess the deal is if you buy a lunch and a drink you can have a pastry for 99 cents. So they offered it and I took it. But when he tried to order the same they said he couldn't have it for 99 cents because he had already paid for his drink separately. Huh? He asked the tall, older gentleman to make an exception and override the regular price to 99 cents for him since he'd been sitting in there with his purchased drink waiting and the man said "no". Wow! Not a very good way to treat customers - especially someone who is there multiple times in the same week. read more

This Panera location is literally the absolute worst with to go orders. In the last few months I've done rapid pick up about 5 or so times and 4 out of the 5 orders were messed up. Either things were missing or they gave me the completely wrong item. I absolutely love Panera's food so I keep giving them chance after chance, but y'all this is ridiculous. Someone else picked up the order for me today, and of course my soup was missing. So I called and spoke to a manager, Cheyenne answered the phone, and she definitely was less than helpful. Didn't offer any sort of apology just asked me if it was a cup or a bowl of soup and then hung up. A few minutes later she called me back to tell me that when I come back for it to make sure I had the receipt. This is poor customer service in my opinion. I was not looking for free food what so ever, just an apology. The store was not busy at all at 3 pm today, so there's no excuse for an order to be messed up, especially a small order. read more

Finally glad to see a whole some place to get fresh food without all the preservatives. Have been several times and service is fast and the food is really great. My favorite is the everything bagels. This Panera Bread Co. in Lake City, FL is an absolute joke! My wife, our nephew and I rolled up to the drive-thru speaker and ordered three dark roast coffees. We were told: "We were inspected this morning and forgot to brew dark roast. It will take about five minutes." We asked for regular instead in order to save time. As we pulled away from the window, we realized we had been handed hazelnut. I parked and went inside to again ask for REGULAR. . . I was told: "We were inspected this morning and forgot to brew regular. It'll be about five minutes." I then simply asked for my money back.
