I love me some Panera bread, even though most locations get my order wrong. This one does it less than the others and honors the Sierra turkey from the secret menu. However it does get crowded and has a strange dining layout hence the 4 star review. This review is short and sweet because there's nothing I can say that hasn't been said of Panera's. They're more expensive than other sandwhich places but deliver a fresh and tasty product. I like the loyality perks and the you pick twos. The seasonal offerings are also worth checking out. The negatives are they rarely ever get your order right. Sometimes the sauces are inconsistant in flavor. Because I always order off the secret menu the self ordering system they push you to use doesn't work for me. Regardless Panera's will always be one of my favorite go-tos for a quick bite.

Charged strawberry mint lemonade & Green tea featuring a beauty!

The service was very speedy and good! The lovely lady & I started off by getting our drinks. We got the charged strawberry mint lemonade & Green tea. It Definitely quenched our thirst. We had to get soup... so we ended up getting the broccoli cheddar & chicken tikka masala soup! My snack loves the broccoli cheddar soup. It might give her ptsd because she spilled it on herself once but she still loves it lol. I got the Spicy take chicken sandwich... I'm a big chicken sandwich guy & this sandwich never disappoints very tasty. My lover got the Turkey basil tomato bravo! She said it was "smacking" whatever that means lmao.

No feta on my greek salad

My experience went like this..order at the counter (like fast food joints) out comes the bill asking do you want to leave a tip. Uhh, for what? No I didnt want to since I feel like self service i do not tip. You pick up your own food order, you bus your own table, you have no say on how they make my food at least at Subway if the food preparer adds extra to your order, you feel like giving them a tip of appreciation, thanks for those extras!. And by the way, the restaurant needed cleaning, tables, seats, floor all dirty (bathroom too). As for the food you know it's a chain so you pretty much know what to expect. Average. Ordered half sandwich and salad. Turkey, bacon & avocado easy right? My bread was a little stale, my bacon iced cold, and 1 chunk of avocado. Meh, not great. The greek salad, is it really a greek salad without any feta sprinkles? It could've been so much better if you pay more attention to the details.

Pick 2 special - Chicken Cob and avocado salad with broccoli cheddar soup.

If you're familiar with Panera's menu, you'll have a typical experience here. That's the benefit of chains - more predictability - and while this location is adequate, it's nothing to write home about. Just a standard Panera. Lunch hours during the week can get pretty busy, and it's worse in the summer months, when outlet tourists are creeping around route 30 looking for something to eat. That makes tables hard to come by. Outdoor seating is available when the weather is nice, but beware the noise level is pretty high because of the proximity to the highway. The staff is friendly and does its best to keep the line moving at a good pace, but don't expect miracles. This is just a standard Panera, after all.

Service was quick. Food was delicious, warm homemade rolls with their home made peanut butter spread was complimentary but truly was a foreshadowing for the meal! I ordered the open face roast beef with mashed potatoes with gravy and Mac and cheese-- all delicious. My significant other order the wings-- super crispy and well sauced. Our children got the hot dog and chicken fingers. For dessert we tried the apple dumpling it came out steaming hot with homemade ice cream. We frequent Lancaster but it was our first time hearing about it and experiencing it. It is completely worth any wait! The food was ok - personally the food was too sweet for most of us but we went for the experience. I thought it wasn't anything super different from American food. I think their home made pies are something to try - the crust and crumble on their pies are a little different from typical American style pies - may be a little more dry and crumbly??. I didn't love the crumble but I liked the pie crust, but my husband loved it all. Doesn't hurt to try once but only for the experience.

Ambience - I see that others described the decor as "vintage" and that would be an accurate description. The dining room and buffet stations are a little dimly lit. Food - this is the main reason people come here and it did not disappoint. There was a lot of variety and the food quality is generally 3.5 stars. Nothing really jumped out as outstanding, but everything was generally slightly above average in quality by buffet standards. The desserts are baked in house and was definitely the highlight of the meal. Note: be sure to take a souvenir tourist pic in the old car in the lobby.

The price honestly is way too high for what you get. It was $41 with a drink for lunch, not typically what I'll spend and in this case way overpriced. I did like the carving station with the ham. The peel and eat shrimp was good and the fried chicken was good, but not warm and very limited on selection of the pieces. The sides were OK maybe they just weren't my thing. The entryway is really cool. The server only brought drinks so not a lot of interaction there. I think it has potential, but for some reason, I did not get the full five star lunch. Not impressed.

We had ridden the Strasburg Railroad earlier…read morein the day and were looking for a place to eat when I fired up Yelp and found the Tavern by Spring House Brewing. It is located on East Main Street in downtown Strasburg. The inside consists of a large main room with an L shaped bar, a number of TVs, and then a second dining room off to the side. Since no one was seated in the second room and we had twin four year olds with us, we chose that space. Unfortunately the TV in that room was broken, so we were not able to watch the Steelers game that was on. Aside from that, the room itself had a cozy and slightly eclectic feel. There was a decorated Christmas tree lit up in the corner near the staircase which gave the space a warm seasonal vibe. The walls were decorated with brewery signs and beer themed banners, and a bright yellow decorative mantel stood out against the darker wall colors. Overall it felt casual and welcoming and worked well for a family dinner. For dinner on this evening I went with the Buffalo Chicken Cheesesteak while my wife chose the K Town Mac Bowl. The menu described my wife's dish as three cheese cavatappi pasta with smoked pork slaw, Korean BBQ drizzle, sesame seeds, and scallions. My sandwich was described as smoked chicken, American cheese, buffalo sauce, gorgonzola, onion frizzles, ranch drizzle, and a hoagie roll. I thought my sandwich ended up being good, especially since it was chock full of chicken. The hoagie roll was toasted and buttered nicely and added a good crunch, which the onion frizzles helped reinforce. The gorgonzola added a nice pungent pop of flavor. While I did get some buffalo flavor, I definitely could have used more. Because of that, the sandwich was a little on the drier side despite having cheese, buffalo sauce, and ranch drizzle. My fries were seasoned and had a nice texture, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. As I often do whenever I visit a new brewery, I decided to go with a flight here. At Spring House Brewing, a flight consists of four beers and I chose the Cucumber Salamander, Backroads Shadows, Daily Planet, and Love and Rockets. The Love and Rockets ended up getting mixed up and I was instead served Grease the Poles. I started with the Cucumber Salamander, which is a sour. It was a bit tart right from the start and that carried through to the finish, with a little extra pucker at the end. Up next was Backroads Shadows, a lager with a crisp, clean start before the malts came through on the finish. This felt like a really good easy drinking beer. Third was Daily Planet, an IPA that had citrus up front followed by a solid hop presence that carried through the finish. Last was Grease the Poles, a pale lager that started off very clean before finishing with some lighter hop notes. Out of the bunch, the Cucumber Salamander was definitely my favorite. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. Our food and drinks were good, and I would be interested in trying more of their beers.

Looked like there was only 2 servers for the entire place which was busy. My husband liked his chili, so that's the two star review. He said it had a lot of flavor. Unfortunately, the au ju did not make it any better. The Cole slaw had a good flavor and was not sweet, so that was the best part of the food.
