Must try the mac & cheese or the chicken frontega! Also the new lemon chicken orzo is pretty yummy!

This Panera is so different from the other one on Hwy 10. How does a coffee place repeatedly run out of coffee and tea? The staff is friendly and having a great time in the kitchen even if they aren't working. read more

Though I'm hardly a huge fan of Panera, I do occasionally visit the University location and walk away satisfied. Hungry and close, a friend and I, unfortunately, decided to dine at the restaurant on Kanis and left extremely disappointed. We spent $28, including a $3 tip, to get a lackluster half salad, hardly edible half chicken sandwich, two bowls of lukewarm soup and dirty utensils. If the dank, musty odor of the restaurant is anything to go by, the place is clearly past the point of much needed leasehold improvements, assuming the franchisee doesn't eventually just tear it down and start over. Of course, that alone should have been reason enough for me and my friend to turn around at the door, but again, we were hungry and close. We won't make the same mistake twice, esp. not here. Ordered a tomato mozzarella sandwich paired with broccoli cheese soup. The soup was good but the sandwich was not worth the money. Mostly tomato and lettuce . Hardly any cheese at all! Very disappointed. It cost me $9.19 for half a sandwich and one cup of soup. Too high for that and the quality is very lacking. read more

This place used to be great, but it has gone wayyyyy downhill. My rapid pickup is NEVER ready anymore. In fact, the last 3 times I have done rapid pickup, they don't even start getting it ready until I get there, even after my confirmation tells me to wait 15 minutes to go pick it up. The employees are always just standing around talking, but apparently they aren't looking at online order tickets when they come in. I'll order food and coffee for meetings elsewhere from now on. read more

Panera has usually been good to me over the years but this particular location is in desperate need of management overhaul. I made a mobile order and pulled in 10 mins later and sat and waited for 20 mins! When I went inside to see what the deal was, the staff in the back were goofing around and acting like there was no orders to prepare. Absolutely horrible service when I asked when it would be ready. When I finally received my mobile order I opened the bag to find that not only was there no silverware or napkins for my soup and salad but also my sandwich order was also incorrect. I was livid and furiously stormed into the building to get my spook and napkin. The workers are absolutely worthless at their jobs and need to all be fired. What's crazy, is this exact same scenario happened a few weeks before. Whoever is managing this Panera needs to be thrown out and the entire lazy ass staff needs to be replaced. Glorified fast food disguised as a bakery. Menu changes often but everything still tastes pre fabricated. This wouldn't be as offensive if the prices were ten to twenty percent lower, but you can do better for what you pay here. read more

Won't be back to this store- it appears they are sourcing their meat and bread from a Wal Mart as this is exactly what our sandwiches tasted like tonight. Corporate needs to investigate because this hasn't been my experience at other stores. read more

I had been wanting to try this place ever since I watched their commercial for the cranberry Turkey breast sandwich on flat bread. They made it look so good. I ordered the Turkey breast sandwich and a bowl of broccoli cheddar cheese soup, my husband ordered a coffee. He says his coffee was VERY weak, watered down. My soup was good but I've had much better. Now I was disappointed with the Turkey sandwich. When I ordered I had no idea that the sandwich comes with no sauce at all unless asked for it like mayo, mustard, cream cheese, etc. And the register person who did not bother to tell me even though I mentioned it was my first time there. In fact the girl who took my order seemed lazy, bored, and unfriendly. I did get a basil pesto (watery) dressing after noticing my dry sandwich and complaining. But even with that addition the sandwich was lacking. For the $6 I paid for it, I could have gotten much better some where else. It was very small, too little turkey, lettuce, tomato and onion. The place was practically empty at lunchtime and now I know why. Go elsewhere! read more

horrible service. cashier was aweful. i said that i wanted my sandwich plain and they brought it with everything. when we told them to take it back they took the things off and gave me the same sandwich without the cheese. if i wanted to have the tomato seed still on my sandwich i wouldn't have made them take it back. very disappointed and i am tempted to never return. read more

First let me say that I'm a huge fan of Panera Bread. Great food and the customer service is second to none. I have eaten at several locations and in different states and they are all consistently good. With the exception one. This one is located at 10701 Kanis Rd, Little Rock AR. I first noticed a problem when the danish I ordered was dropped in a sack. No napkins no sleeve or covering on the cold stale danish. Then when I picked the sandwich out of the sack that was wrapped in a covering, it was cold to the touch like it had just been removed from the refrigerator. The meat was cold and rubbery and there were no sauces or condiments on the sandwich, which according to the descriptions should have been there. This is the second time I've eaten or, I should say, tasted from this Panera Bread because I have yet to actually eat anything from there. I will continue to eat at Panera Bread just not at this one and if you're reading this I suggest you do the same. read more

Never again! I found a 10 inch long curly hair in my egg soufflé this morning and the service is absolutely horrible!

First and last time at this Panera Bread. We ordered a bagel, breakfast sandwich and orange. The bagel had a strange paper like consistency, so chewing was like wrestling with layers of wrapping in you mouth. So of course the orange juice should have helped but unless you like Sunny D orange drink with added pulp like this beverage is then avoid. Well too bad we caught the missing food at the drive thru, I could have gone without that particular order of food and gotten the same satisfaction from the bag it should have been in. read more

I am so disappointed in the Nappa Chicken salad sandwich I got yesterday dining in your restaurant , there wasn't even abig spoon full of meat on the sandwich, it was mostly lettuce , even the guy that brought it to my table had to look twice to see what kind of sandwich it was,feel like I wasted my money. read more

I have been a loyal customer since 2013. Most of the time I ordered the Chicken Cobb with avocado Salad and Broccoli Cheddar soup. I loved every bite every time! The amount of salad would vary according to time of day and whether it was drive-through or dine-in. Last week, they changed the menu, and no longer offered the Chicken Cobb with avocado salad, but had substituted a Green Goddess Chicken Cobb, which the lady taking my order in the drive-through assured me was the same as the Chicken Cobb, but with pickled red onions. So, I ordered that without the red onions. The total of my order of a half-salad, no drink was almost $7.50. When I got home and opened the container, what I saw was the most pitiful excuse for a salad, ever! There was almost no lettuce or chicken, the bacon bits were unrecognizable and I had a heaping helping of red onions. I haven't been back and don't plan to, either. I hope they miss me. I was there up to 3 times a week, every week, for two and a half years. read more

Every Panera Bread has great food, but this review is about the horrific customer service! On a couple separate occasions that I have decided to go to this location instead of Cantrell(excellent customer service) I was told at 9:00am they were out of egg soufflés and bread, now what kind of reputable restaurant runs out of everything constantly? Which brings me to tonight, my boyfriend and I decided to order for rapid pickup using the Panera App. We were trying to use a gift card when it got to the checkout and it only had an option for a credit card. So, I call the location and explain my situation to the Panera Bread associate and I get handed off to the manager, which has no idea how to check out with a gift card. Seriously had my doubts of going through with this after my last experience, but I decided to go ahead and place the order over the phone. So about 20 minutes later I leave to pick up my order, just to make sure they had plenty of time. Whenever I arrived, went to the checkout and asked to pick up my order. The PB associate gave me a deer in the headlights look and then got passed to the manager who said he "forgot" to take my order. He didn't even apologize, he just said "Oh I forgot." The actual manager couldn't even fulfill a Togo order over the phone. So waited another 20 minutes, finally got my food, just wanted to warn everyone in advance this location IS THE WORST IN LITTLE ROCK. I will gladly drive the extra 5 miles to the other Panera Bread next time. read more
