Panera has decided to do away with most of their Panini sandwiches in favor of their new flat bread sandwiches. So they no longer offer either of my favorites, and none of the sandwiches I've tried since are in any danger of becoming one of my favorites. read more

Rivergate Mall shoppers will enjoy this Panera Bread location with free wireless internet. This is one of the few Goodlettsville neighborhood places with free wifi. Quieter than some of the other Nashville Paneras, it serves the same made-fresh-each-morning breads and pastries. The bread-bowl soups are especially popular when the temps go down. read more

When a bakery runs out of baked goods....Not very good business practice. It's New Years Eve and the store is open however they have no more bagels or pastries. Here is a word of advice Panera, why keep your employees at work if you can't meet your customer's basic needs? Let them go home to their families or bake the RACKS of unbanked bagels you have standing behind them. read more

We have eaten at this Panera Bread many times. While we enjoy the food, this store has become neglected & could use some upgrades & cleaning. Also the surrounding homeless population congregates inside the restaurant, takes baths in restroom, uses Wi-Fi, charges phones, drinking coffee (free), takes up booths & seating, etc. On 11/20 at 6p.m when we ate dinner, there were more "street people" in restaurant then customers, & security guard for the shopping center was socializing with them. It just isn't a clean environment for eating. We will choose another restaurant or possibly another Panera Bread location. read more

This is one of my favorite places to eat because the orders are made really fast and I don't feel like I ate junk food when I'm done eating. The atmosphere is really nice and it's a good place when your in a hurry and a good place when you wanna sit down and have a nice quiet meal. Highly recommend it to everyone! read more

It's unfortunate ... the food is good, quality to be exact ... but the service at this location is pathetic. Granted, I only order to-go from them using the mobile app which is as smooth as possible. The problem is that 9 times out of 10 you get home with an order that is either shoddily prepared (thrown together) or just plain wrong. It's hard to even count on a salad being prepared correctly - you specify no chicken and you get chicken still. Anyone ordering to-go is advised to not just check the bag but also check each sandwich/salad. read more

Panera Bread is awesome but this one is awful!! They are ALWAYS out of something! Today was French baguettes! How is a bread store out of bread! The lemonade containers are never full, the bathroom is disgusting, and they don't deliver to my house which is only a few miles up the rode. This is probably the worst Panera store around the area. Will definitely drive the extra 5 miles to the one in Hendersonville. The lady who took our order was rude and then didn't use our discount. When talking to the manager she was also very rude. Argued about discounting it saying it's the Machine. They should promote the woman in the kitchen. First time ever to a Panera Bread...and the staff was incredibly unhelpful. Note to the manager- let your staff know that not everyone is a Panera expert! Some people might not be able to read the board, or might need some assistance in picking something. A professional staff is helpful and kind- this staff (especially the woman with blue hair) was less than helpful and went out of her way to embarrass me and my husband when we didn't know what to get. We ended up getting nothing because we kept picking things they didn't have and she wouldn't help us navigate the menu. I will not be returning. read more

I will no longer patronize Panera Bread in Rivergate, TN. As I entered the store another lady was walking in at the same time as I was and she opened the door for me. I said, "No I'll hold the door for you, thank you." As she stood in line "in front" of me, I noticed that she was unraveling and counting her money, obviously searching for more money and/or making sure she had enough for her order. Everything in me thought pay it "forward" vs backward. So, as I stood there I was trying to get the attention of the cashier. He never looked up. But as the lady paid for her "coffee" I noticed she had given him too much money. So he gave her back a coin. He gave her her cup and she walked away. As I approached the counter I said to the cashier, "I want to pay for her coffee please give her, her money back." He ignored me. Sooo being the ardent articulate that I am, I repeated myself boldly and he looked at me and said, "I'd rather you NOT she is HOMELESS. They sit outside and beg people for money and then come "BUY" lunch." I looked at him to make sure I really heard what I was hearing and then...I could hear the Holy Spirit say, "they didn't feed Jesus..." Then I said you mean to tell me that "if" she is homeless I shouldn't buy her a coffee? I am still going to pay for her coffee and I tell you what I am going to do. I will NEVER EVER patronize this Panera again." I reached out for his hand and said, "Your name is Joe and I assume that you are the manager? I am Shante Telfer." He reluctantly shook my hand and said yes, whatever. I said, "I am calling corporate, writing them and I will ensure that the homeless be heard." I walked off and then turned around and said, "OH I NEED HER MONEY BACK!" I gave her the money and said have a beautiful day." I am in awe of his reasons for not wanting to serve her. She didn't beg for anything, she paid for her coffee. AND so what if people are out begging. IF someone wants to pay for their food, buy them a coffee, hell buy them a home, who is anyone to interfere with, disregard and/or disagree with them blessing others. I understand businesses not wanting peddlers near their establishment(s), at the same time MOVE ON WITH THE WHITE PRIVILEGE, MOVE ON WITH YOUR HATEFUL SELF, MOVE ON WITH YOUR SELFISHNESS, MOVE ON WITH YOUR STONY HEART, MOVE ON WITH YOUR ARROGANCE, MOVE ON WITH YOUR SOCIAL CONSTRUCTS AND TO PANERA MOVE ON TO A "DIFFERENT" NEIGHBORHOOD "IF" THIS IS THE TYPE OF REPRESENTATIVE /WORK ETHIC AND PRINCIPLE(S) YOUR COMPANY SUPPORTS.
