Well wanted in line 12 minutes to order. Started to leave but I really wanted to eat here today and was looking forward to the salad bar, so we waited. Finally, we arrive at the salad bar and it really does not look as appealing as in the past. The hummus looked dried out and the pasta, broccoli and other cold salads needed filling and stirred. There didn't seem to be anyone attending the salad bar to fill and clean the area. The pasta salad which i normally LOVE was so salty I could not eat it. I never even salted anything. I eat around the pasta salad and picked at the rest of the salad. The mini gingerbread muffins tasted like yesterday's and the corn muffins were so hard you could not bite them. So I had 2 chocolate ice cream cones for lunch. They were good. The manager came by our table and asked how our meal was and I did tell her of my dismay. I rarely get to go to Jason's deli and then I get a salt lick pasta salad. She did give me a free entree card and apologized for the meal. First time visit to Jason Deli at the recommendation of a friend. Dined in early afternoon after the lunch-hour crowd. My experience was much better than other reviewers. Warm, friendly greeting. Dine-in or to-go. Seating is both booths and tables. You queue up to order and your sandwich is delivered to your table. I ordered The Ruben (corned beef or pastrami) and a salad. Salad is self-serve at a salad bar that is kinda rare these days after COVID. The Ruben sandwich on rye was good, and I have no illusion it could compete with a NYC Deli Ruben. But still good. The salad bar was the surprise. The dinner plate was large enough for a full salad, the offerings were many and varied, and salad bar was kept clean. Can be a meal itself. Drinks are self-serve. There is also a children's menu. Parking is a private lot. Next visit I will sample The New York Yankee Sandwich with corned beef and pastrami. Open daily, 7x per week. read more

After 8-hours of traveling, we needed to eat and didn't want to cook anything. We order Jason's deli for delivery, I got the New York Yankee, my wife got the loaded kids potato, and a kids PB&J for my son. First off, the delivery was amazing and ordering it via the Yelp app was super easy. The New York Yankees sandwich was insanely huge and loaded with corn beef, pastrami, Swiss all on toasted rye bread. This could have been easily shared. I enjoyed the whole thing and immediately wanted a nap. My wife loved her baked potato and couldn't imagine ordering a full-size spud, as the kid size was already substantial. We were quoted a delivery time of almost an hour, but were very surprised to see that our food was delivered in 30 minutes via contactless delivery. I was laying on the couch staring at my phone when the text came through, "your food has been delivered!" We would for sure order from Jason's deli again hot food, huge portions, and fast delivery. 3 stars for slow service. Arrived after church on Sunday and only a moderate line. It took us about 5 minutes to order. However, our food didn't arrive for 45 more minutes. We thought we were making a good decision to eat here and avoid the long wait commonly associated with sit- down restaurants. We were wrong. On the upside, food was good and on par with what we expect from this restaurant. Free ice cream is always a plus. Just know that a long wait is possible if you visit. read more

Came here a few months ago and had high hopes for this place - what a letdown. Overpriced for extremely low quality food. The service was good but the food was extremely lackluster. My panini was ok but the sourdough bread was way too crunchy for my liking and that paired with a small cup of fruit was not worth my $15. I was appalled that my s/o received lukewarm Kraft as his side of mac & cheese that he ordered. The menu should have specified that it was literal Kraft... Their "free soft serve for guests" machine was broken and that was the only redemption to the crappy "deli food" we ordered. Never again. read more

Ordered from here a couple of times when we were recently visiting from out of town. We ordered the pastrami Reuben, the Santa Fe panini, the salmon specialty sandwich, the chicken salad sandwich, and the spicy gumbo, and broccoli & cheese soups. We were pleased with the quality and taste of our food and the proportions. Customer service was excellent and the restaurant was clean. If I could give this less than a 1 I would. My fiancée and I came here last week for a quick dinner on a Friday night and we both ordered the mesa chicken salad. Not only was this covered with very bland cheddar cheese, but they did not include the avocado, which is one of the reasons we ordered the salad. The salad was very bland overall and not worth half the price we paid for it (no amount of free sub-par soft serve ice cream can make up for this). The worst was yet to come though as, about 30 minutes later, we both became violently ill and had the joys of food poisoning. Neither of us ate the same thing up until that point that day and there was no other cause of our simultaneous food poisoning. Good news first... I had a ham/salami muffuletta which was delicious. The tapenade was perfect! And so ends the good news. The lobster chowder was watery and flavorless. And to top it off the lobster itself was so rubbery it was almost inedible. Probably had been cooled and reheated several times. The dining room was filthy, including ice cream coagulated on the floor under the spout of the machine. The food preparation area was a disaster, bits of ingredients strewn all over the make tables. Visible grease around all of the equipment. I could only imagine the condition of the areas I could not see. The employees (guys and gals) were friendly and seemed to be enjoying their jobs. That being said, I won't hold them at all accountable for the next statements. Inept management is entirely to blame. - Long shaggy hair on each of the boys on the line, not a single hair net in sight. - Switching tasks without changing gloves. Handling non food items, then handling food. - Waited 10 minutes or do for our take out order (which is very reasonable) ... during that time I observed not a single person take a trip to the hand sink. - As we were leaving, I noticed what looked like a manager sitting in a booth. I suggested hair nets to him and that I "fully expected to eat some hair" ... to which he laughed, as if I were joking. So I never see myself making a special trip to Jason's but, if I'm otherwise in the area, I'd go grab a sandwich. read more

Love that Jason's Deli is finally open in Mount Juliet, TN!! One of my ALL time favorite places to eat!! I love that they have nitrate, sulfate, and non gmo foods! I have a high sensitivity to nitrates and sulfates that trigger severe migraines, so this is a HUGE plus for me!! My overall favorite item on the menu is the California Club. And I always order the fruit to get that YUMMY fruit dip! Everyone has been so pleasant from home delivery, to the pick up window, to dining inside! EXCELLENT customer service!! I had the Beefeater - a beef loaded French dip - and swapped out the mayo for Dijon mustard. Tasty! Unfortunately I could not swap out chips for fruit. G had a California Club that she said was really good. She had fruit - fresh and tasted great (pineapple was yummy). Black currant tea was a little off. No fruit salad, wrong soup, only had muffins because I pointed out they had been left off, did not have the drink I ordered so had to settle for something else. The best way I can describe this is that I could have made this food myself at home but way better. They got multiple things wrong on both mine and my boyfriend's order. They forgot my mayo, claimed that the sandwich would be "grilled" and that the cheese would be melted but the cheese was very much cold and the bread was just toasted and dry. Forgot my boyfriend's avocado that he paid extra for. Gave me chips instead of the cup of fruit I asked for. Absolutely disgusting food. I ordered the roasted turkey muffaletta with chips, picked and Mac n cheese. The sandwich had little turkey and alot of something on it. It's gross. No pickle and the chips ( was given no choice) we nasty ruffles. The Mac n cheese is not more than kraft Mac n cheese . Will never eat there again and will not recommend this place to anyone. I'm sorry that I have to write this, but I will make this review short and sweet. I'm writing this in the hopes that this location will get it together! Jason's Deli is usually one of my favorite restaurants. There was an employee who was standing by the drink machine while she was drinking ice cream out of a bowl... The salad bar looked terrible. Photos with captions attached (so you can tell what was supposed to be there...) There was trash on the floor and several tables that had still not been cleaned. They had no more lids for the regular size cups. We asked them and they said that they were all out. Photos attached. It felt like a dirty and unwelcoming environment. I felt like we had been ripped off this time. Usually, we always go to the Nashville location on West End. The service there is superior! The salad bar always looks fresh and appetizing. I really just want to keep going back to that location after this experience... Maybe they were just having a bad day. I have been going to Jasons deli for over 25 years, so it makes me sad and upset at the same time with my experience here today. At the Mt  Juliet, TN location,64 Belinda Pkwy, Muffuletta was shorter than the ones in nashville.. west end and Brentwood locations. Seems like they can successfully pull the wool over peoples eyes out here... not Jasons deli quality. I think Mr Tortorice would be disappointed. Another thing, we were not informed about the salad bar NOT being the all you can eat yet still being charged full price of it.   my experience today really taints my eagerness to eat at Jason's Deli. We've been a big fan of Jason's Deli for years - so while passing through we decided to stop at the Mt. Juliet location. My family and I went on 07/09/23 for lunch. The restaurant was busy but there were still plenty of tables available. We ordered our food and after 20-25 mins two of our kids finally got their food - A sandwich and a pizza. The runner told us that the make line kept splitting up orders so our food would be out in a few. He seemed frustrated about it. It ended up taking 42 minutes to get the remaining food. A pizza, a bowl, a sandwich and an extremely cold bowl of macaroni and cheese. Most of the food was fine - but it was very clear that the workers were incredibly slow and mismanaged. They didn't appear to be short staffed - just extremely slow. The restaurant was also fairly dirty. When you're charging $14-15 for a sandwich your service has got to be above average - and this was far from it. We definitely won't be back. read more

Stopped in to pick up a late lunch for my husband and I. Got 2 paninis and they were amazing! Not only that but the staff were so pleasant. I have never been, they offered me a menu to read versus the one of the screen, then I waited for about 10 minutes and the guy apologized for the wait (which was actually completely reasonable and not a super long time) and gave me 2 cookies for the wait. I checked out the salad bar which looks awesome and will be back to dine in. read more

Worst Rueben sandwich ever. Not sure who sliced the meat but it was sliced the wrong way. Hard to even pull it apart with your hands

My husband and I went there because I was craving their Corned beef Reuben. I think the cashier was new because he made multiple errors to our order. The manager went way above and beyond to fix every issue - without hesitation. Even though I was Hangry and admittedly being a total Karen. It is still my favorite place for lunch in Mount Juliet. Normally on weekends when it's busy this location has been efficient with getting orders out to the table. We decided to go on a weekday at lunch. With only 10 customers at tables and almost as many workers behind the counter they managed to take 30 minutes to give us our order. That's because the first 20 minutes they lost the order. This is not a real deli. This meat is not authentic cold cut quality. On St. Patty's Day, we ordered a couple of corned beef sandwiches. This "meat" which was the consistency of ancient leather was NOT corned beef. It did not bear any similar flavors or consistency to corned beef. It was slimy, tough, and disgusting. Nothing "fresh" about it. I realize in Tennessee that authentic Deli's may not be a popular thing but subway is a better bet than this especially for the price. Anyone rating this higher than 2 stars has not experienced an actual deli before. What a waste of $48. (2 corned beef sandwiches, 3 hot dogs, and an order of nuggets). My kids would've even finish their food which is saying something. Maybe we hit it on an off day but this was the most inedible thing I've eaten in a long time. We wanted to try the new deli. My wife had chicken soup with pastry and I tried the salad bar. Our order was filled quickly even though it was lunch time. Salad bar was large, clean and delicious.
