Margarita pizza

Always disappointed No toilet paper or soap or sanitizer in the bathroom. It is a slow restaurant No excuse If you can't keep your bathroom clean and stocked and it's slow How much care do you give your kitchen l?

4/26/2025, The Panera Bread has acceptable groceries. I ordered the Family Feast today to consume during the Golden State Warrior vs Houston Rockets game 3. I added the large Italiano as well.

Small salad that is definitely not a half size salad!

Panera- if you think $17 for a bowl of soup and a HALF tiny chicken Caesar salad is valuable then you've lost your fucking minds. I'm NEVER going here again. I'll just keep making my own food or go to a restaurant where they give you way more food. I'm really not shocked at how every place in California takes advantage of us. Thanks Biden. My salad was basically $8 considering the $17 total. What a joke. They were super nice but wow....I put this in a bowl at home and it was pretty much like a side salad at a crappy place. Didn't even taste good. Yup, ya lost me as a customer for life.

Eyebrow or eyelash hair !!!!!
Batchelder A.

There was a freaking hair in my soup !!! I had my spouse drive to Panera to order me soup because I'm pregnant and it's been very hard for me to eat I keep throwing up so imagine my frustration opening my soup that I already took a few bites of and see this freaking eyelash or eyebrow hair I will neverrrrr eat at this disgusting restaurant again !!!!

Half Strawberry lemon mint / Half Agave lemonade

I go almost daily for my sip club lemonade and I love it so much! It's so yummy and the employees are always so kind and understanding. The vibe in this Panera is always so calm and chill, I like taking my computer there to work on my schoolwork while I enjoy my lemonade.

Chicjen Ceasar Salad

I ordered a "You Pick 2", a half Cesar Salad and half sandwhich, and my sister ordered a Greens Salad, my one star is for my sandwich. So long as you order a sandwich you are probably going to get a fair portion but the salads were a joke for the price. My salad was 5.99 and my sisters was 6.89. I dont mind the price but there was hardly any salad in the bowl and it wasn't until I got home (a 50 min drive) did I realize how little salad I received.

Bacon. Scrambled egg & cheese on ciabatta?? I don't think so mister! Wrong sandwich!

There is Nothing worse than coming home and having your order completely wrong. It's on the screen and receipt.

I used to like Panera, the one in Merced is horrible. Friendly staff and great customer service! But the food has become so mediocre.

Since she has graduated, I won't be in town anytime soon, but I highly recommend them for some good Thai and Laotian bites if you're ever in Merced! They have a selection of delicious dishes and I have loved everything that I've tried. My go-to orders are the Papaya Salad and Khao Poon. The papaya salad is a must and the spice level was the perfect amount. The Khao Poon is a coconut curry based noodle soup that is so flavorful. I've also come to really enjoy the Nam Khao (Laotian crispy rice salad), each bite is crunchy and absolutely delish. Your Asian comfort food cravings will definitely be satisfied here. Wishing The Papaya Lady continued success!

Located off on the corner of 16th Street and G (same plaza as Little Caesars), the Papaya Lady is actually tucked away inside a carniceria. The aisles of the market nearly block the counter to this little kitchen. It's the neon sign of "The Papaya Lady" buzzing that guides you to the back. We came in the late afternoon on a Saturday and they were already out of the fried chicken and sticky rice (next time!). We ended up ordering: Papaya Salad (extra spicy) - The little peppers in this gave the dish a nice kick. Super refreshing on a hot day. Nam Khao (crispy rice lettuce wrap with pork skin) - I highly enjoyed this one with all the crunchy textures and flavors. Will 100% get again. Khao Poon (noodle soup) - This broth had a subtle peanut flavor which was delicious. Wished it had more toppings. Nam Vanh (tapioca drink) - My drink seemed to lack the other jellies that I saw in other pictures and only had the lil tapioca balls, sweetener and coconut milk. It felt like it was missing something for sure. The owner is so nice and friendly. I don't know if it's a psychological thing, but every time he acknowledged or spoke to me, he used my name. It just felt automatically more warm and welcoming lol The price per portion is also legit. You get so much for what you pay. Our order kept me and the SO fed for almost 3 days. So nice to have some good Asian food in the Central Valley. Will definitely be back!

For starters we had the pork belly app with bread and honey ricotta spread. Both were amazing! Best pork belly we have ever had. Then I had the scallops and my child had duck confit! We were trading bites and with our plates half cleared, we realized we never got a photo. I had lemon tiramasu and they had Strawberry shortcake. Great flavor! There was also a double bourbon and a latte in there somewhere. I wanted to try everything on the menu and should have had some wine. There will have to be a next time, and another next time. The dining room was modern and clean. The experience was great and glad that Merced finally has fine dining.

We chose Rainbird for our Galentine's celebration on Sunday, 2-15-26. We had reservations at 12:30…read morepm. We were met by the greeter who proceeded to tell us to wait to be seated. The restaurant was not very busy and it took almost 20 mins just to be seated at our table. We then took our place at the table and we waited another 10-15 mins for someone to wait on us. We kindly flagged the young male server there and asked him if he could get our server to assist us. The young female server finally came out to assist us - she was not very welcoming but proceeded to take our drink order. It took almost 15 minutes to get our mimosas and water. She did not greet us, inquiry if it was our first time there or gave us suggestions on the menu. She then proceeded to take our order which took a while to get our food. The plus - everyone enjoyed our meals from the way they were prepared to the ingredients. No one ever came to our table and gave us any water nor did they ask for a refill on our drinks. During this time I peeked around the corner and saw staff just sitting in the back talking to one another. I tried to keep the experience positive for my group of friends but they were also growing concerned about the lack of hospitality. The lunch schedule was only until 2 pm but because of Rainbird's delay in seating us, taking our drink orders as well as the slight delay we felt we were now being rushed to finish our lunch, I also wanted to celebrate our friend's birthday and I brought a cake - the server proceeded to tell me it would be a $5 charge per person if I cut the cake there. She did offer to bring a complimentary dessert for our guest of honor. In my opinion, due to the service we were not receiving the cake fee should have been at least discounted or offset due to the lackluster enthusiasm and service. As we were trying to finish our lunch and take pictures at this beautiful establishment we could see the "side eyes" of staff rushing to get us out the door. I am a firm believer of supporting small businesses in Merced since I was born and raised there and let's face it - Merced has very limited fine dining and we wanted to do something nice for us. In order for small businesses to thrive in this town they need our consumerism to stay in business. As I read from all the exemplary reviews on this platform we unfortunately had a very bad experience with this lovely establishment. A group of us came from Madera so that we could meet our gals from Merced as a middle location. Needless to say we were very disappointed with the service as well as the treatment we received from Rainbird. Next year we will choose another location for our next gathering. Please do better Rainbird.

We started off with the steamed mussels which were excellent - large meaty mussels in a roasted tomato garlic broth. The broth was so good we both spooned it down long after the mussels were gone. This was followed by the beet salad which was the classic pairing of bitter arugula with the sweet beets. The crab and lobster ravioli as our main course didn't disappoint - lots of sweet crab and lobster meat stuffed into each ravioli, all draped with a creamy rich sauce. We topped off our meal with another classic - crunchy cannoli fingers. Mmm, good! Our friendly server gave us excellent wine service and food suggestions. The back dining room was cheerfully noisy and gave off the vibe of eating at your Italian Grandmother's house. We had a great time, highly recommended.
