Orange scone with cinnamon roll egg sandwich
    Chris M.

I wanted to try their new menu breakfast items. They do not look like the advertisement. I got the cinnamon roll egg sandwich. It was not cut even and it wasn't sweet like a typical cinnamon roll. The orange scone was good but typical Panera quality and taste. The service was meh. I ordered at the kiosk for dine in and when they said my order was ready, it was not. The ambiance was that of a fast food restaurant. I don't like their hot coffee so I tried their cold brew. It wasn't any better. And they charge you extra for a flavor shot. Go at your own risk. I don't plan on going back.

Came here for lunch. The staff was super friendly espthe lady that was running the register around approx 1130. She was attentive and friendly. I got a BBQ chicken sandwhich autumn soup drink and pastry review is mainly for great service food was ok.

    Smokehouse "BBQ" Sandwich
    Eli A.

Ordered a Smokehouse BBQ chicken sandwich and a salad online for pickup on a busy work day. Opened the sandwich to find ... no BBQ sauce. It's not a complex sandwich as far as Panera menus go. There's 4 players in this stage act and they missed the title actor. And they forgot to add my bread to the salad order, too. If I had any time I'd go back and complain. I'll give 2 stars because the salad was fine. I've been to this Panera before and while the staff are nice they mix up orders pretty often and this last time was once too many

I have ate from this location a few times now, never inside, always from orders that people brought to my job for a party. I have had a few of their bagels for breakfast and some of their sandwiches for lunch. Overall, I would rate their food average. The bagels are better than Dunkin, but not as good as a local mom and pop bagel shop. Same for the sandwiches. Just average. I believe this establishment falls under "fast food", so you cant expect best quality of products for fast food places. But, for something to be prepared quick, it gets the job done. Maybe some of their other bread items are better, as I believe this place is known for having good breads, but the bagels and sandwiches do not have top quality bread.

Banana for scale. The crumb is so dense. Like it had no time to rise before baking

Came back to give it a try again. Quality has not improved at all from past several months. Now it's also way more expensive cause of inflation. Even their "bread" is a shrunken, dense, mess.

I love Panara. I give it 5 stars because for the price, the food is very delicious and also very fast. There are options for people with different dietary restrictions and there are also a lot of healthy options for a snack, breakfast, lunch, or dinner. This particular location is very spacious and casual. There is free WiFi and a bathroom so it's a great place to work or get a quick bite. I brought their dessert to a party on NYE and it was a huge hit and cost me less than 10$ !

    1/2 piece of bacon!!!!! EMBARRASSING!!!!

Embarrassing. I would give zero stars if possible. Workers were down right comatose and borderline rude. Made a mistake on my order (completely fine) then returned with the correct 1/2 a grilled cheese sandwhich (nearly $6) I got ONE HALF of a piece of bacon!!!!! ONE HALF. Look at the pic! I will not return there or to another Panera anytime soon if EVER. Lunch for my wife and I (two - you choose two and 2 drinks) $28. As I said - embarrassing.

Ordered a strawberry lemonade, fried gyoza (with chicken; not pictured since I was starving and ate it too fast), dumplings (also with chicken) with crispy onions and bean sprouts, I got the miso ramen (with chicken...appears to be a theme), and my GF got the Katsu Curry (yep, theme confirmed. Came with chicken). Fried gyoza was an easy 5/5. Perfectly cooked and the dipping sauce was divine. Will definitely order again. Dumplings had a nicely-sized piece of shrimp along with ground pork inside. Dumpling skin wasn't too thin and wasn't too thick. The sauce they came in was also quite tasty. 4.5/5. My miso ramen was delish. Broth was savory, ramen noodles had a nice chew...would also reorder. 4.5/5. My GF 's Katsu Curry...she said it was decent enough but it was kind of bland because there wasn't enough curry sauce. She gave it a 3/5. All in all, we both said we'd be back. Next time I'm sure she'll try a ramen dish instead, I'll probably reorder what I got this first time.

I went with a group of 3 and all ordered ramen and the karaage appetizer, but the karaage was just slightly crispy and barely had any flavor, the sauce really saved that dish but definitely would pass on that dish. All 3 ramens were average. The pork cha shu was tender though which was the highlight, but overall broth was pretty standard. Particularly my miso ramen didn't have that much flavor. Service and staff was a bit slow, but food came out pretty fast. Overall not bad, but will probably give this place another go sometime and try some of the other dishes.

My nephew who lives nearby treated us to an al fresco meal recently while visiting for a family event. My pulled pork smashed burger was everything you want in a packed meat sandwich, with an onion ring and tangy sauce on the brioche bun. The sweet potato fries and a refreshing mocktail to drink made for a perfect meal. Sweetie ate a pasta bolognese (I think) which looked and ate good, and drowned it with a nice glass of red wine. It was packed on the Friday night we visited, with folks lined up for seating, or to hang at the bar and enjoy the bar scene. No reservations. Our late dinner worked fine as the mostly millennial and Gen-Z crowd started thinning shortly after we arrived. Millburn has always been a draw for neighboring townsfolk in search of a meal out. I remember this foodie town from 25 years ago, when its pizza, kosher and diner offerings were top notch. It seems to have upgraded its food scene several notches since my last visit so many years ago. Pure nostalgia for me which made for a very flavorful evening. TOP TIP: Street parking in this part of town is a hassle and the local cops keep a sharp eye for illegally parked cars and inebriated drivers. So park further away from the center of town where you are more likely to snag a legal spot on a busy night.

Despite the moderately upscale ambiance and clean, contemporary aesthetic, the emptiness made us wonder: did we miss a memo? Was there a sudden local embargo on Mediterranean food? Luckily, the dining room eventually filled up, saving us from eating our dinner in a complete echo chamber. My dining companion and I started off with the Hummus appetizer ($11) served with a modest side of toasted pita. It was tasty and definitely hit the spot. We both decided to keep things light and ordered salads with a side of grilled salmon. I went with the Marouli salad ($16) -- crisp romaine lettuce, dill, and scallions with a lemon-olive oil dressing -- and my companion chose the Greek Village salad ($19), a shepherd-style salad with cucumbers, tomatoes, red onions, Holland peppers, feta cheese, olives, and Greek dressing. Both were fresh, well-prepared, and hit the mark. The salmon was also delicious, which is a good thing, because it came with an $18 upcharge that was not listed on the printed menu. For dessert, we ordered the baklava ($13), three pieces of an already intensely sweet treat that had apparently been subjected to an excessive dusting of powdered sugar. As for the service, our server and the food runners were competent but not overly friendly towards us or other diners. I also noticed that the staff tended to take care of tables out of order in which they were seated.. resulting in diners who arrived after us being served before us. Overall, it's a perfectly fine 3-star experience. I'd gladly go back if someone else was picking the spot, but if I'm the one in charge of dinner plans, I'll probably cast my net elsewhere in the area. PRO TIP #1: Bring a bottle of wine or beer from home or stop at the Wine Shop liquor store located on the opposite corner of the intersection of Main Street and Millburn Avenue for some adult beverages to enjoy with your meal. EVOO & Lemon is a BYOB establishment and does not serve alcohol. PRO TIP #2: EVOO & Lemon does not have a private parking lot, but there is plenty of on-street parking and municipal lots nearby. Use the mPay2Park app for the pay-by-plate meters ($0.50 per hour). Meters operate Monday through Saturday from 8am to 7pm; all street meters are free after 7 pm and all day Sunday. If the street is full, the Essex Street parking deck (24 Lackawanna Place) is a reliable backup.

The Veggie Panini is so tasty; the ingredients taste fresh and as though from a quality sauté; the Portobello Mushrooms, Red Onions, Roasted Red Peppers, and Spinach all mesh together juicily well, of good flavor. I try to make the meal as Vegan friendly as possible by removing the Feta Cheese. Still, the panini might have butter which texture wise more so than flavor wise is present. If not for looking in the sandwich I might not note the buttery-melt-like residue which is post my curiosity of the oil/sauce. I think a garlic-olive oil base may be a great option to substitute for any seeking to Veganify the Veggie Panini beyond just removing the cheese. The coleslaw is tasty and contains a light mayonnaise-milky-like dressing, which one may drain out, though the coleslaw comes with it. Goldberg's has been a local staple in Millburn since Tina and Marty Goldberg first opened the doors back in July 1977. The current owners took over in December 2022 and have done a fantastic job keeping the soulful and "old-school" Jewish-style deli spirit alive while making many subtle but meaningful improvements that today's diners expect and appreciate. However, it still has that authentic, "old-school deli" ambiance where you order at the counter then grab a table to wait for your meal and could end up with mismatched silverware. It's charmingly low-key and with a focus entirely on the food. The deli sandwiches are massive and the quality of the ingredients is consistently high. Unfortunately, that also means that the prices are somewhat higher than you might expect. A single deli sandwich served with a small bag of potato chips is in the $20-$22 range, which feels like a bit of a splurge for a casual lunch. That said.. You definitely won't leave hungry and the portion sizes encourage sharing or taking half of your dish home for a second meal. My dining companion and I split the West Orange sandwich, made with corned beef, turkey, russian dression, and cole slaw, on rye bread, which was excellent. We'll definitely be back. PRO TIP #1: Bring your wallet. I do feel obligated to point out that Goldberg's should be rated as a $$ / moderate price range (indicating $11 to $30 per person) rather than a $ / inexpensive price range (indicating under $10 per person).
