Look at the gross space in between the glass and pastry case. Yes, be grossed out, everyone.This has slots and holes that connect the contamination to the actual pastries in the display. The employee dropped cups on the floor and placed them back to be used..eww. Suh unhealthy practices. Maybe it was a training issue? There is no hot water in the womans bathrooms. Where's the health department when you need them. This place has been dirty for months now, and no manager stepped in to have these issues corrected so I sadly have to review to get some change. Very disappointed. Went last night 11/13/24 with my wife. We were both looking forward to french onion soup bread bowls. Went to cashier to give our order. We were informed they only had one bread bowl left. Wife was going to order one of the new sandwiches that comes with dipping sauce. She was informed they were out of steak. She finally had to settle for chili wich was very hot (spicy). Was never offered any kind of apology or small dis count. Ended up paying for over $25 of disappointment. Customer service was excellent! Very friendly staff who were very patient with our cranky 16 month old. Coffee was hot and delicious! We got our food, it was exactly what we ordered and we didn't have to wait long. Food came out hot, and my dad really enjoyed the pecan braid! The woman who took my order struggled with the system, and rang up my order in what seemed to be a convoluted way that overcharged me. I was in a hurry, and after taking 5 minutes just to get my order right, I didn't have the patience to deal with correcting it. Upon receiving my order, part of it was still wrong. Had to ask the guy at the counter to correct it. Tuna salad sandwich also had minimal tuna salad on it. (See photo) Came in late in the evening, but the staff was cursing loudly. I ordered on line for curbside pick up. When I arrived, I received a message from panera that my order was ready. I then clicked on "I'm here" and put on my flashers, as instructed to do for faster service. I waited 5 minutes and no one came. I moved my car in front of their window, flashers on, looking right at the staff walking around like they had nothing to do and no one brought out the order. I saw a couple of the staff looking at me, in the pick up spot, with flashers on and ignored me. I called and told the girl my situation and asked her if that was my bag at the end of the counter and she said yes. It was raining out and that is why I ordered curbside. Typically I would go in. At every other Panera I have gone to, I have always had friendly interactions with the staff. However, this time the person who took my order was condescending to my boyfriend and I. When I asked for a bowl of Mac and Cheese, she at first said no as a joke, and then proceeded to place my other into the computer. Then my boyfriend went to order a flatbread and she said no they were out of bread. We assumed she was joking again, and then he asked for a drink and she asked if that was all he wanted, rudely. We were both confused and then she said to us, "I didn't say that to mess with you." He proceeded to order a different menu item. While we were paying, a manager walked behind her and she asked, while we were still there, if she could go home early. Might just be me, but I find that extremely unprofessional and rude. read more

I do give Panera 5 stars for the flavor of their drinks and food. When you go someplace for years and you only ever eat something once that did not taste good and look good, wow! That's very impressive! But throughout the years, Panera can disappoint with its portion sizes. A decent-amount bowl of soup one day can be a skimpy amount of the same soup another day. Same with the salads and now the meal bowls. Can Panera come up with a way that employees can uniformly give their customers the same amount of food each time? Today's Baja bowl (vs other times) had a decent amount of quinoa but the rest of the ingredients were sparse. I'm not sure if the picture truly shows this, but this is the skimpiest portion of food I've ever gotten at Panera. I had planned to get coffee and possibly a pastry afterward but I could not bring myself to spend any more money there. I went home to get something else to eat. The flavor was great! But, If you spend $11+ on an entree and you have to return home to eat more, why go to that restaurant in the first place? My last two visits here, the dining area did seem cleaner, but I did have to wipe off my table and I watched someone else later doing the same thing. But .. It does seem better. Panera, if you are short staffed, just leave out a bottle of disinfectant for customer use! 3.5 for Panera. It would take such easy changes to be 5!!!!! read more

The only reason I didn't give five stars is because I need to do my homework here and the internet is kind of slow in comparison to many of the other free wifi hotspots I've used. Secondly there was no half-n-half for the coffee, third when asked about refilling the half-n-half, I was informed it would take a considerable amount of time in a rude manner. What the hell! Never order from the app at the moline location because it's never accurate. They will say they are out of bagels that they actually have in stock, and they will say they have stock in muffins that they haven't had the ingredients to make for a "long time" apparently... I've also ordered a bagel on the app and got their to pick up my order and had to wait 20 extra minutes for them to tell me they are now out of the bagel and can't fulfill the order even though I sat there and saw 2 people in line get the same exact bagel... and I ordered mine earlier. I've gone to Panera's on the Iowa side of the quad cities and had great service, never having an issue with online ordering there. There are three Paneras in the Quad-Cities, and this is one of the two good ones. Everything you expect from Panera...solid menu options and their food is always fresh. Service has always been great for me here, and never any complaints or side-eyes when I ask for extra dressing or something unique with my meal. The one thing I will give a heads up on for this location is that there are about half as many parking spaces as the place actual needs. Between 11:30 and 1:00, good luck finding a spot. This Panera is a half-mile down the road from the corporate headquarters of John Deere, so the place is always packed during the week. The parking lot is a private lot, with no overflow options. Typically there will be three or four cars just sitting there at any given time waiting for someone to leave...not an easy place to get in and out of for a quick bite over your lunch break. read more

Just had the $9.29 Southwest Chicken Tortilla bowl and it was awful. I think everything left over from the night before was made into a soup with a big old ton of tortilla chips. Soup was nearly cold and taste was terrible. We also had the cream of chicken wild rice soup , which was hot but so watered down I thought I was in prison, with crappy soup and hard bread. You just keep disappointing me at the Moline location. Soup was lukewarm and the half steak panini's meat was sparse at best and they heated it up crooked making it difficult to eat. Looked like a mess on the plate. All the cheese had oozed out and burned on the griddle so there was this wing of burned cheese hanging off the side of the sandwich. I will say the ice tea was good. The latest, I placed an order at 6:40 am for pick-up at 7:00 am. When I got there my tag was hanging. They were out of the soufflé I ordered. You serve breakfast until 10:30 am and you were only open for 40 mins when I placed the order and you're already out of at least one of the soufflés? We went in for dinner one night and they were out of several things including the baguettes. You're a bread company.
