I'm not sure why there are so many low reviews for this Panera. I've always had good service and never noticed it being dirty. While the employees were on the younger side, they were all very polite and efficient. Getting your food isn't the fastest, but I think it's because they make it after you order instead of how they do it at fast food restaurants. They now have an unlimited pass where you can get free drinks, which is a huge money saver if you drink a lot of coffee/soda/tea and live nearby. Their bakery items are REALLY good as well. It's a wonder they have 2.6 star rating. I waited in the drive thru for 30 minutes. I get it, things can be busy... I was told to pull up to wait.. we instead asked for a refund because we didn't wait to sit for another 30 minutes. No refund. No call. Called 2 days later and girl on the phone told ME to call back when the manager would be back... I offered he call me. Left my number & he never called. Zero refund. Charged for food I never received... interesting experience to say the least. Probably should fix this location. read more

This location is always clean, and I've had good experiences here. There is plenty of convenient parking. The employees are helpful and service is fairly fast. Some of the other Panera locations I visit seem to be short on staff but staffing at this location appears to be good. The new Charged lemonades are really good, and a great afternoon pick up. Not normally one to leave a lowly review but this location seemed to struggle quite a bit. We ordered 3 breakfast sandwiches and a large drink. The food took quite a while to get ready which is understandable and it seemed that they weren't in a rush, but after waiting that long to get your food and then have the order be 2/3 wrong was disappointing. So after returning to the store, the staff did remake the sandwiches but then proceeded to leave the sauce off of them. Since we were running behind getting to our son's game, we just took the hit. Restaurant was clean and in a good area however. Hopefully it was just a bad shift and it's not the norm. Thanks! read more

The restaurant was clean but I get upset every time I visit a Panera because I don't want to be a busboy! They need servers because now they ask for tips ! After leaving the restaurant we picked up a couple things at the pharmacy and my wife said that food didn't agree with me! So I had to rush her home. This is the first one-star review I've ever had to write in my entire Yelp career, but this Panera location really deserves it. I was working in a hospitality room for a morning event, and we ordered some bagel platters for breakfast. We waited for 20 minutes past the expected time for the bagels to arrive at the event before calling the location. We were told that a delivery driver was sent our way and they would be there in just a few minutes. Unfortunately, an hour later, no bagels were delivered. We ended up buying a catering platter from Big Apple Bagels on Olio Road instead of waiting for even longer. Not only is their food extremely overpriced for the quality and quantity of it, first of all, but this location is probably top 2 worst locations I've ever been to, and I've been all over the country. The strange thing is that this is a pretty nice area overall. The service is consistently bad. Today, I went in for a late lunch, some young worker was talking on the phone and looked at me as I waited for someone to take my order, then immediately stepped away for a full two minutes, came back, noticed I was still there, then walked away again to the back room. Obviously, I just left. The other very few times I've been there it seems like it's run by a bunch of teenagers, and service is always shaky. I think I've seen one adult there one time. I love to order the "Pick 2" combo because it is the perfect portion sizes for lunch. I ordered the Bacon Turkey Bravo sandwich minus the bacon with Gouda cheese, lettuce, tomato, and some kind of vinaigrette dressing that was undetectable. I knew it was there because I asked what came on the sandwich. So it just made the sandwich that more delicious without overwhelming the turkey, cheese, lettuce and tomato. You get your choice of chips or apple slices. The chips are kettle cooked which are supposed to be healthier. I also chose the Homemade Chicken Noodle soup today. The tomato soup is good too; I've had it before. The cashier gives you a vibrating disk so you know when your order is ready. The kitchen at this location was very fast in preparing my order. They use real plates, bowls and metal utensils which is nice. They have lots of choices for dessert, cookies, pastries, and more. Finding a parking spot was not an issue. The restrooms were very clean and smelled nice. I think eating lunch at Panera Bread is a safe bet no matter the location. read more

Wow! This Panera really hit it out of the park for me! I was really pleasantly surprised. I've not had the best Panera experiences lately, and was beginning to get frustrated. I know. I'm a Predictable Patty when it comes to food. My Panera meal is their Turkey Bacon BLT with avocado, an apple and a large green tea. $13 a little wait in the drive thru, and I have a meal on the go that I feel good about. The wait at this location wasn't bad. Service was polite and I was back on the road fairly promptly. This location wouldn't be convenient for someone wanting to get off and back on highway 69 quickly. Also, finding it the first time can be a struggle. It's Hamilton County. Their obsession with forcing businesses to conform to all businesses within the area looking uniform and the same is...just flat out weird. It also makes it hard to find things at times. This Panera is located within a shopping strip where everything is black/grey. The entire shopping strip. So it really blends in. That's probably my biggest complaint, but there's nothing the actual business can do about that. My food was great. Everything seemed very fresh and I was so pleased. I was also really tickled to find a pickle! I have never been given a pickle with my sandwich when I go thru the drive thru, only when I rarely dine in. I love pickles, so I was thrilled. They wrapped my sandwhich in 2 pieces of sandwhich wrap and the pickle was tucked perfectly in between, so that it wouldn't soggy up my sandwhich. Nice and appreciated touch! I order through rapid drive thru a lot. At least once or twice a week and there's always, always something missing from my order. Usually it's the tortilla chips for the Mexican street corn soup or the croutons for the tomato soup. Once they completely skipped the dressing for my salad! Salad without dressing ! Extremely frustrating once you drive all the way home and find out your order is incomplete. Also every time and I mean every time I select "no Utensils" ...I get utensils. I even write "no utensils please" in the notes section. Obviously no one looks at that. Panera, I think you should do better with your carbon footprint. Was pretty unimpressed today when I ordered a $5 smoothie and got it in a super small cup- not thick at all, watery, and not even filled to the top of the cup. I will never pay $5 for such a smoothie again especially when it's just juices, ice, and yogurt mixed together. I used to go and get these smoothies and they came in an actual decent size cup maybe like 16 ounces and im pretty sure mine was 8 or less today. I attached a picture for reference. Came here for the first time last night. Being in El Paso for the past 7 yrs this is one of my favorite restaurants and I'm taking advantage of being so close to one . I took my order to go and once I got home I realized they forgot my soup. It was already closed since I went to Walmart first so I decided I'd call in the am. Woke up and spoke to the manager Brian. BTW, their phone menu option gives you the option of speaking directly to the manager . He was extremely willing to help me and resolved my issue. I was going to post a review last night but decided to see how they resolved my issue first and I am pleased with how the situation ended. Thank you so much Brian. Panera is the perfect choice for a quick meal on a cold evening! This was my first time at this location and I needed speedy service since I needed to head back to work on presentations for work. I went through the drive thru and the staff was fast and very welcoming. I only waited a short bit for my food, but it was nice and warm and exactly what I asked for. I got the chipotle chicken avocado melt- one of my faves. This sandwich is served hot and is full of flavor from the avocado, peppers, and cheese. My sandwich today had tons of chicken on it-- getting my moneys worth for sure! On the side I had the super creamy broccoli cheddar soup. Nice and hot and hit the spot! Served with a delicious baguette to dip into the soup I was fully satisfied with this meal. I got my meal with a drink and and cookie (it's been a long day, fam) and that put my meal just under $14. Wasn't feeling great today and stopped by the drive thru and ordered 5 items. Chicken noodle soup that i ordered was given to me as literally broth only. There is 2 noodles in the BOWL of soup. I ordered a grilled cheese and it was burnt with a huge hole in the top of the bread. Paid $6 for a smoothie and was given a water cup size smoothie. My salad was also tiny as can be. Not sure if the portion sizes were cut in half again but the amount i spent on this food for what i got is pathetic. Customer service was good though. read more
