This definitely wasn't as good as I was expecting, but I think it's pretty good for takeout style food. It seems like it's pretty healthy and has a lot of options but the food is not as fresh as I was expecting. It's very casual and has good service as well!

TL;DR: No fuss healthy clean eats - get the bone broth! Got the Korean BBQ Pork bowl a few times in a week - filling but not too much and packs a lot of flavor. Could do with a little more kick but overall delicious. Get the bone broth. It's warming and rounds out the meal perfectly Cheers, CoreLife Eatery!

Food is always so delicious here! On top of that, the team is always so friendly and fast. Best place for a salad here on the northside! Wish they had more locations

I just love going here for their tacos and the bowl. If you are looking to eat healthy I say go try CoreLife Eatery out. You will not be disappointed. The food is great and the prices are very reasonable, especially for you to be able to eat healthy. The inside is very clean. Customer service is very great and they explain things really well and will answer any questions you may have.

I've ordered takeout twice and both times the chicken fajita tacos were very warm and delicious! I do wish that they came with some sort of taco sauce to give it that extra kick! I added my own instead. Overall though super good and tasty! I've also gotten their tomato soup! Fulfilling and flavorful! Preferred over Panera Bread's tomato soup! Looking forward to trying others items on their menu!

Great restaurant for those focused on healthy eating and appreciating blue zone cuisine. Their menu has many predefined wraps and bowls but you can also build your own custom bowl which is what I did. The price for a large bowl was $11-12 which isn't bad. All the ingredients tasted fresh and well done, and it took less than a 5 mins for my order to be ready. After trying sweetgreen and BIBIBOP I would put this restaurant above those in terms of quality. Hope they open more locations around Indy soon!

I discovered core life back in college in West Lafayette before sweetgreen (also not comparable but similar concept) came to Indiana & I have been a fan ever since! The location off 82nd is always clean and the staff is friendly/patient. I always say I'm going to try something different but the tuna poke bowl and the sriracha ginger salad have me in a chokehold. You can add 1 ingredient to your bowl/plate for free and you can sub rice for greens if you want! Whenever I'm feeling under the weather I like to grab their chipotle chicken bone broth and sip away my sickness. Yum, now I'm craving corelife!

Amazing food! If you are looking for an away from home healthier food choices...that actually tastes yummy...then, head to CoreLife! Not only is the good tasty, but the interior and the service matches. When you walk in the place, there are a lot of warm and comforting colors that greet you. The pictures and the menu are clean just like how you feel when you are eating the food that you ordered. Earlier I touched upon the food being yummy...well, it is and my go to is the pick 2 ... a regular sized bowl of the bbq chicken...comes with all the goodies...told rice, chicken, corn, cheese, jicama and bbq sauce...topped with crunchy tortilla strips...oh so good! For my second item I always choose the gluten free Mac ...now, I am not a out of the house Mac n cheese person..usually underwhelmed when I get it out...but, here it tastes just like my MIL's baked Mac n cheese...except with gluten free noodles...how fantastic is that? Not sure how to answer that question...well then go check it out for yourself!

This is the first time I've eaten at this restaurant. Very clean inside, great customer service by the door, repaired our food. She was helpful with her suggestions. We built on bowls, I chose steak, salad, rice, beets, cucumbers, egg, Pickled onions and Greek yogurt with sriracha dressing. It was phenomenal. My only complaint is that I would've loved a bit more steak. She measures it, so I would guess it's about 4 ounces- other than that I have zero complaints and would gladly return for more!

I have nothing but good things to say about core life eatery! It is always so good and so fresh. Their aesthetic is so vibrant when you walk into the restaurant. It almost is like a chipotle style way to order. Therefore you can kind of scope out what you want. I got a bowl filled with quinoa, arugula, spicy broccoli, siracha sprouts, chicken, corn, and much more. Their jalapeño lime dressing is too die for. Perfect amount of spice and lime flavor. I also also get the chicken bone broth to sip on and it's perfection. It's a must when you're feeling under the weather or just want to warm up! I've also gotten the buffalo chicken tacos and OH MY WORD, insane! I don't have a picture because i literally inhaled it in two seconds. They put it on a pita taco and it has changed my life forever. Dramatic, i know. Overall, you can definitely find something for everyone here, kids included. Healthy yet so delicious!

I paid extra to have it served Izzy style. What a mistake, maybe it would have been better had I not. It was basically swimming in a red sauce of some kind that did not taste anything like it was described on the menu. The green beans served with it were good and properly cooked. The shrimp cocktail was ok. (Not the nice over sized perfectly cooked shrimp that I had come to know and love.) And finally, the biggest disappointment was having to keep an eye out for the wait staff to make sure they were not removing unfinished drinks and food prior to our finishing. With nine of us at the table engaged in conversation it became frustrating paying more attention to the staff than to each other. Sorry, not sure what has happened to this once amazing special dining organization. Does anyone know if there is new ownership in recent years? We spent lots and lots of money for food and service that we would have been better off going to one of the big steak house chains for instead. What a disappointment!

A while back, I learned that Tom Main, the owner of Freeland's, was nominated for a James Beard Award for Outstanding Restaurateur. Well! That's all I needed to read, and I put Freeland's on my list of must-visit restaurants. Freeland's isn't a fancy joint, but it's also not not-fancy. Vibes were telling me that it felt like the kind of place where you want to put on a clean shirt, and so I got it into my head that Freeland's should be saved for a day when I felt like changing out of my yoga pants. So I visited on an anniversary. Pro tip: When you make a reservation online (and you should definitely make a reservation), tell them whether you're visiting for a birthday, anniversary, retirement, etc. They will make your dining experience incredibly special. We were greeted at our table with a celebratory sparkling wine toast (in shot glasses), and a complimentary scoop of fruit sorbet to end our meal. This was totally unexpected and was a nice touch, and spoke volumes about the service at Freeland's. Honestly, I don't know what to rave about first: the service or the food. But since I mentioned the service, I'll go ahead and just say that Freeland's has some of the best service I've experienced in Indiana. I felt like I was in the middle of a carefully orchestrated play, with people coming in and out to give me new silverware, refresh my water glass before I knew I needed more water, and whisk my empty plates away as soon as I was done with them. At one point, I was transfixed by watching the staff maneuver and dance around each other in the dining room with purpose and grace. It was a sight to behold. I love efficiency! I love moving with purpose! They do that here, all for you. One hundred percent, you should order the carrot appetizer. It's just called "Carrots" on the menu, which is an understatement. These are perfectly cooked warm carrots glazed in a Szechuan sauce, sitting on top of a creamy edamame hummus, drizzled with oil and sprinkled with everything-bagel spice. One order is plenty for two or three people to share, but I could see myself coming back and just hoarding an entire carrots plate all to myself, with a glass of wine, at the bar. For the main dishes, the Sakura Farm Pork Belly was ordered (kimchi, black forbidden rice, duck egg), which was so juicy and tender. I got the Loch D' Art Salmon, which is cooked medium, unless you tell them otherwise (but medium is perfect, so don't tell them otherwise), and comes with Carolina gold grits, broccolini, tomatoes, romesco sauce and harissa. Holy mackerel (I mean, salmon)! This was a perfect fish dish, and melted in my mouth. Every bite was amazing. It was just the right amount on the plate, too -- not too much, but also completely satisfying. They have some creative desserts on the menu. I didn't really want dessert, but we were given a dessert on the house, so how could I say no? The cherry sorbet was pure, icy cherries in a glass. So refreshing, and the perfect way to end the exquisite meal. Freeland's dining room is small, and when we visited, every table was full. Like I said, definitely make a reservation. But despite all of the people, and all of the people talking, it was never too loud. They have sound-diffusing panels in the ceiling to offset some of the noise, so I never felt like I had to shout across the table. They think about every detail here! This is one example of the care Freeland's puts into their dining experience, and it's not the only one. You are well-taken-care-of here.

Have been wanting to try this place out for a very long time. I will say I wasn't expecting it to…read morebe tucked back in a neighborhood. But the house was gorgeous. The inside was actually bigger than I was expecting. There was a beautiful bar located on one side of the house. Overall, decor was elegant but not pretentious. You could come in casual attire and not feel out of place. Our waiter was very personable and had a great sense of humor. He took time to explain the menu and was extremely helpful when it came to helping us decide on what to get. Everything sounded fantastic especially the starters. I didn't get a cocktail but I did get a lovely cup of hot peach tea that was very delightful. My friend's cocktail was beautiful. We did get a sample of one of the sparkling wines which was very nice. Mt friends ordered several items and I tried most of them. The carrots were my favorite. I ordered the tots and caviar as my main meal. This is definitely the upscale, adult version of tots. The potatoes were very crispy and I was shocked by the amount of caviar for the price. All the food was beautifully presented. And everything came out hot. Meaning temperature hot. You could tell everything was cooked fresh. Overall, it was a great culinary experience. But the great service is what would keep me coming back.
