My favorite order is the Mediterranean veggie. The tomato basil bread used on the sandwich has a hint of sugar on it, adding the perfect amount of sweetness to pair with the peppadew peppers. Located in the middle of Airport Squares stripmall, this is one of the few Paneras around in this area. I'm not sure why this Panera has 2 and a half stars, I personally love it. The food is fantastic, the desserts are fantastic, the employees are great, and I always enjoy eating in the restaurant area. I also love the deal where you buy a meal and for 99 cents you get a decent sized dessert too. This store has plenty of parking in the shopping center and plenty of exits for Airport Square. The store is always crowded but it is to be expected as it is a great place to eat and it's the only Panera around. I did wish it had more than one door on and out, being consistently crowded it can make entering and levaing a pain, especially if there would be any emergency. I'm very happy with Panera, lately. I just had a quick breakfast while running errands; service was fast and friendly, and the food (as usual) was delicious! The rewards program for Panera is awesome! I receive lots of free give-aways and coupons almost every other visit. Remember to scan that card every time! I don't have a usual at Panera because they offer so many delicious options! A You-Pick-2 is always a good idea: includes a half portion of a soup or salad and half a sandwich. Bread bowls with your soup are a crowd pleaser, and sometimes you just have to go for that mouth-watering Mac and Cheese. Don't forget the fruit smoothies! Yum. The bakery is also amazing. If I could give it a zero, I would. I have been craving a Panera sandwich for a while. Haven't had one in ages. My favorite is the mozzarella tomato panini. I was sorely disappointed. The sandwich was so ridiculously skimpy that I barely tasted the filling. For the price, I expected much more. When i ordered that sandwich when we traveled in other states, the same sandwich was so stuffed with filling I could barely get my mouth on it. Now that's a sandwich! I'm always a fan of Paneras because they have good healthy choices and a lot of mix and match options. I loved my half chicken thai salad and small chili ( less than $10) which came with chips/apple/or bread (I wish they had a veggie option as well or a small dessert instead). They have a large selection of sandwiches, soups and fun salads. I also like that you order at the counter and then pick up your food. Went to this store for a school fundraiser. The service was slow, they ran out of bread, they charged me wrong and then argued about it. The only reason we went was to support my children's school. When I used to work in the complex, I would get Panera all the time. All of the food was good, even though it was a bit overpriced. The salads were about $10, but if you got them to go, they were huge. Today I was craving a caesar salad, so I thought I would go pick one up. DISAPPOINTED. They changed the to go boxes, so the salad is now half the size it used to be (but the same price). They also changed the dressing, and it is foul, very anchovy tasting and bitter. Do not go to this panera. The man who took my order, who believe it or no was the manager, gave me a major attitude. Apparently it was a huge inconvenience to him that the chip on my card wasn't working and that he would have to slide my card to get it to work. As I sit here in Panera I must reminisce about my time spent dining at these tables in an almost modern yet old fashioned environment. With the atmosphere filled, in the morning, with soft sips of tea and in the afternoon filled with the bustle of a busy restaurant, it's an almost holesome yet busy comfort that never fails to keep me coming back. And when you factor in the food the experience becomes all the more better. Food - The menu at Panera covers a wide variety of food groups that offer items to almost every potential diner. From salads to sandwiches and cookies to loaves of bread, the majority of the food panders to a healthy group of people, their smoothies consiting of all natural and "clean" organics and their salads and sandwiches filled with leafy greens freshly picked and fresh meat packaged and stored unfrozen. The only downside being that if you're looking for something greasy or quick, find someplace else. Not to mention that the food is grossly over priced. Overall food experience: 6/10 Service - Maybe this portion should be prefaced with yes I did work at Panera for a short amount of time and I may seem biased towards service. But I do have to admit service at Panera is great. From a patrons point of view the service seems unique and that of an almost fully self serve restaurant. You start at the register and are greeted by one of potentially four cashiers. They great you nicely and offer you suggestions based upon what you're feeling. And after your food has been ordered you wait with a pager you've received up front. Now this is where the service may slow down. It can take up to ten minutes to get your food, depending on how busy it is and even then you can't be guaranteed that everything you ordered will be in the bag or in the plate, especially if you're ordering from rapid pickup or over the phone. But the food is good and the janitorial service is great which makes up for the potential lack of time honored service. Overall service experience: 8/10 Atmosphere - The atmosphere in Panera is modern yet comfortable, almost reminiscent of old fashioned dining with a hipster modern twist. The dining area can be loud during peak hours but there is a closed off area in the back used by meeting for the employees that is designated as a quiet area for diners. The dining room is clean and always has an employee to clean and organise, stock and sweep. Just watch out for crying babies. During the lunch rush which runs between 12pm and 3pm make sure to bring ear buds if you're alone and friends to talk to because the dining room can get pretty loud. Overall atmosphere experience: 6/10 Overall Panera is a great place to eat, their food being healthy, but make sure to bring a heavy wallet. Look for places to sit that exclude yourself from people for a personal dining experience and make sure you bring something to do. Terrible! On Saturday 9/28 I was going out of town and wanted to grab a snack on my way. I had about ten minutes to spare before I would be running late and I thought Panera would be the quickest given the long line at chick-fil-a. Over 25 mins passed and my order had not come up, so I asked the employee behind the counter who immediately went to another young woman who quick said "oh we are out of that bagel. My problem is two things 25 minutes to tell me your out of the bagel I ordered and the kiosk stations not being up to date. I work at Lansdale hospital and I always get the pick two. My chicken Cesar salad has been sooooooo good and fresh and I always get the broccoli and cheddar soup. I want to support local businesses during COVID-19 so today I placed an order with Panera Bread in North Wales. What a mistake. I ordered a Strawberry poppyseed chicken salad. I ordered online and selected no Mandarin oranges. I did curbside pick up and when I got home my salad didn't have Mandarin oranges on it but it also didn't have any chicken on it. How can you make a strawberry poppyseed chicken salad with no chicken? I called the manager of the store his solution was for the next time I place an order online order the salad with no chicken and then call them and tell them to put chicken on it, really they're going to remember that.
