I have been giving them a hard time the last few visits. Wasn't going to return but the wife insisted. So I am glad I caved as the visit was good and the food was great. Our sandwiches had plenty of meat on them for a change and they tasted really good. I had the Chipotle Chicken Avo Melt for the first time, I think this is a new item, and it was above and beyond good! It has Smoked, pulled chicken, aged white cheddar, fresh sliced avocado, fresh cilantro, zesty sweet Peppadew peppers, and chipotle aioli on a Black Pepper Focaccia. Just writing this review makes me want to go back and get another one! My wife had the Chicken Avo sandwich and they forgot the avocado. But she liked it! The service was mediocre as far as friendliness goes and the order was not on time. But other than that this was a good visit. read more

This is by far the least clean Panera I've even been. There has never been an occasion that I have been here where I have not clean the table I was going to use. Food is good. But this place is just way too expensive for customers having to clean their own tables. This u saw at least two other customers doing. The locale, who is less than 5 years old, looks also dirty. Salad leaves, straw wrappers on the floor. Employees not in uniform. Then 2 half sandwiches with two cups of soup and bottles of water, over 36 dollars. Expensive for bad service. It's a shame. Zero human interaction. Ordered via kiosk. Picked up my food after receiving the text. Poured my own coffee. And then, when I decided I might like to get a pastry, I walked to the counter to place my order with the woman standing at that the cash register. Unfortunately, she was engrossed in a conversation with a coworker, and couldn't be bothered by me. So, I walked away after two minutes -- no sale, and an upset customer. They have soufles on their menu but they are never in stock. Make more batches, it's not that hard. It's annoying to be stuck in your drive through when the one item I want is unavailable. Why isn't Panera corporate reading all of these reviews and making changes accordingly? The new facility has terrible parking. It's an accident waiting to happen. The customer service is very lacking. It's loud, cannot hear the cashier. I ordered on the self ordering terminal because it became so frustrating trying to decipher what the lady was asking. The creamy chicken soup was watered down terribly. About 2ounces of chicken total on my sandwich, very poorly made- too expensive for such a lack of ingredients. The inside is filthy. No one cleans the tables. No one asks how your meal is. The old ambience of a home-style feeling is lost. No one cares here. Also- when your order is ready, good luck knowing. They don't say your name- nothing. You have to guess when to walk up to the counter. It's lost all of ur ability to provide customer service and the food portions are sad. read more

Too bad, but they lose a star. The new place is wonderful and roomy, but the service fails. I seriously think this place has changed hands and has new management. Where the cash register person in the old location by the pastry used to toast your bagel right there when you wanted it toasted, now the bagel goes back to the kitchen so it can take 3 times as long and still come out tepid. Also, probably a one off but a new pot of coffee came out with floating grounds and when we mentioned it to the staff they just left it there. Staff is not trained and does not seem to care about the food and coffee ... big training issue. Too bad... read more

I love Panera and am addicted to the croissant fromage sandwich. However, the last two times they did not put arugula on my sandwich. So the second time I ordered one I asked the girl before I placed the order if Arugula was standard on the sandwich and she said yes I said OK I just wanna make sure they put it on because the last time there was no arugula on it. Well, I got my package. I got home opened it and there was no arugula. I don't know what the problem is but maybe this location ran out of it but if they do, they should let you know before you buy the sandwich. read more

WAY too long of a wait. I was there 25-30 minutes. Wasted my entire 1h 30 mins lunch break!

On Wednesday, I attempted without success to use a gift card from Microsoft. The cashier refused to honor the card so I cancelled my order and left. In six years of using Microsoft gift cards at this location, I have NEVER had one refused! I subsequently contacted Microsoft to verify the card and confirm the PIN number. I returned on Thursday and again placed my order. When I got to the window, I recognized the same cashier who had waited on me the previous day. I again submitted my gift card which today was acceptable! The cashier took an inordinate amount of time ringing up my order, keeping my cell phone for more than three minutes. Then I noted a rather long wait for my food. From the time when I got my phone back to the time I got my food, over 11 minutes passed. I asked for the receipt. The cashier seemed irritated and handed it to me with a bit of an attitude. I was home within six minutes later. My sandwich was lukewarm to cold and my French onion soup had no croutons or cheese. My guess is, my food sat on the counter for ten or more minutes before it was given to me! I attempted several times to reach the manager via phone without success. read more

I was dining there Sunday evening 4/6 when 2 young women had their laptops plugged into the wall outlet, which created a tripping hazard. They were politely asked to move the cords, which caused an argument between them and the other patrons because they refused and became very aggressive. They were swearing and pushed another woman in her seventies. Instead of addressing the hazardous situation, the manager asked the elderly woman to leave. I came here for the first time today to pick food up. Ordering on the app is very easy, and very quick. The place is extremely busy, there was barely any parking, just tons of people inside. I ordered the Alfredo tortellini which comes with a piece of bread, the total price came out to be $9.64. What a huge waste of money. The bread was very hard and the portion on the noodle dish was very small. You would think for spending almost $10, that there would be more food. There was barely any sauce in my meal, I literally had to add butter just to get flavor from it. I don't see myself coming back unless it's for a beverage of some sort. The prices are just very expensive for the little mount of food you get, and honestly mine wasn't even that good. Pretty disappointing read more

This review is for Panera Cafe #600702 at 15051 S. LaGrange Rd. in Orland Park, IL There are so many areas in which this Panera location fails. This is a brand new facility. Parking is a nightmare due to so many restaurants and drive-thrus. The parking area is a disaster. New facility is very sterile looking. The high ceilings make it noisy and difficult to have a conversation. The old location had a more homey feeling. Many times no one is behind the counter to take orders, sometimes over 5 minutes.  On 6/25/22 and 7/2/22, I was sort of waited on by Yusuf. He asked no questions, even though the item had different choices for bread, how eggs were cooked, and whether it was dine-in or take-out. I kept supplying answers to questions he should have been asking. He just sort of stood there and said very little. There have been too many occasions at both the old and new locations where the coffee (from the urns) had floating coffee grounds in it. It seemed that at both locations the coffee urns were empty way too often. Back in January 2022 there were at least 2 times when the dining area was closed. When i asked why, the associate told me it was because they were short staffed and then she rolled her eyes. One time I  was told to use the drive-thru because they couldn't take my order at the inside counter. One day both the drive-thru and the doors to get inside to  place an order inside were closed. This was during normal business hours on a non-holiday day. read more

I got a full Greek salad but it was lacking ingredients. I ordered extra olives and feta, there were barely any olives in there. And the greens didn't fill the bowl. The bowl was halfway full. They also didn't have tomatoes, and charged me a dollar extra for the extra ingredients, even though I only substituted them for the tomatoes they didn't have. I paid $19 for that and a bowl of soup. Overpriced for the quality/quantity for sure, but it was good and it got the job done. Other orders were getting done before mine and I waited around 10 minutes for my order. I wouldn't come here regularly, and they have a lot to improve on before I'd recommend this spot to anyone read more

Very disappointed in the service and quality of food. I have been to this location 3 times since they opened and I will not be returning. I usually give everyone the benefit of the doubt but due to having repeatedly poor experiences I felt the need to warn others. Most recently I used the Panera App to place my order (half a sandwich with chips). My order was supposed to be ready in 10 minutes. I went in 15 mins later and my order was not on the shelf. I waited another 10 minutes or so and still nothing. I asked one of the workers who went in the back and said they couldn't find it. I waited another 20 minutes and finally my bag was tossed onto the carry-out shelf. The half of sandwich I now waited 45 minutes for was cold. Unacceptable service! read more
