Been to this location many times, did not realize I never Yelped it. I really like Panera, some healthier options than your typically fast food spots out there. You can also sit down and relax and enjoy your meal, drink or snack, comfortable place for work or just enjoying. I came here to get a Sip Club drink, if you are not familiar with it, I highly recommend you joining it. You pay a monthly or yearly fee and you can get unlimited drinks every two hours everyday. (Soda, coffee, teas and juices). I travel around quite a bit so it is great to grab a tea or coffee or soda whenever I like. Even if you don't travel around a lot, if you have a Panera near you, it is well worth joining. I also used and use the Panera app to order my food/drinks, saves a lot of time and you can earn discounts and other promos. I've been to various other Panera Bread locations in the past, but have never actually been to this one. Turns out this location is fairly typical of the chain. It's about average size compared to the others and everything was clean and well taken care of inside. I decided to try out the new "Mix and Match" deals for $4.99. You have to buy two items at $4.99 each from a choice of several sandwiches, soups and salads. I chose the cranberry walnut chicken sandwich and a cup of creamy tomato soup. It also comes with a choice of potato chips, apple or a baguette, and I chose the chips. I thought the meal was satisfying and definitely worth the money, but certainly nothing special. If you're a fan of Panera Bread, you'll probably find this to be a good deal. It's a simple and healthy meal, but my personal feeling is just that the food here was quite ordinary. read more

Very disappointing experience at the Panera Bread on 2720 Portico Way in Oxnard. This location seriously needs better management. The service was extremely slow and disorganized, and the staff seemed more interested in talking among themselves than taking care of customers. The overall cleanliness and customer service were far below what I expect from Panera. For the prices they charge, there is no excuse for this level of service. So far my experiences at Panera have been pretty good. This Panera is large and has lots of room to eat with family or do some work. I've had the sandwich and soup combos and my favorite one so far has been the turkey and cheddar sandwich with wild rice soup combo. I also love their Asiago bagels. I have the Sip club membership and it's a great bang for your buck but it would be nice to have more options for coffee add ons and tea add ons. Also, if you download the app they have great deals. So far I've had great service at this location. One day they were out of an item I placed an order for and Cinthya did an incredible job at meeting my needs and making sure I was satisfied with my experience. read more

My mac and cheese was cold, they didn't include utensils like i asked and when i asked for some a worker just told me to look at the utensil area (completely empty). We also grabbed my boyfriend's to go bag after watching it just be tossed on the counter, his side bread was literally thrown in the bag. The soup was the consistency of water, instead of creamy. There was zero flavor. I'm shocked that this new recipe passed the approval test, and I won't be ordering this again. (2) Whenever I order a salad, the employees don't line-up the PULL-TABS on the plastic lids! The tabs are there for a reason! To assist with opening. It took me 6 minutes to open my salad! And the way I got it open was by slamming my fist into the middle of it! I was so pissed!!! Of course, a portion of my salad and dressing went flying. I've had Paneras unlimited bev subscription for quite sometime since moving into the neighborhood. Love the convenience of just pulling up and grabbing either a cold bev (pretty much everything that's available on the counter- this subscription excludes specials), coffee both hot and cold, and tea. With their app, I can place my order and have it ready for pick up. I did order a breakfast sandwich which is called sausage, scrambled eggs, & cheese on an Asiago bagel this time and couldn't find it at the shelves. Turns out they did place it right on their kitchen counter for theft preventative measures. Y'all! Whether you're a breakfast person or not, try it! It's now my go to whenever I don't have time for my morning rush. I've also had the sausage, scrambled egg, & cheese on a brioche and it was delicious too but my top one will def be the Asiago bagel breakfast sandwich If you're looking for something sweet, their kitchen cookie is to die for! They called me at 8:30am to say they RAN OUT OF BAGELS and need to cancel my order. No compensation of any kind no option other than cancelling the order. We came in to see two people sitting at a table thinking that dining indoors was open. The entire dining area was blocked off and the people seemed to be employees. Neither had their mask on be fore or after eating and we're not 6 feet apart. I don't see how it's fair for employees to use the dining area when no one is supposed to be eating inside due to COVID. The cashier was nice. We couldn't eat 2 of the 3 soups we ordered because they weren't good. The onion soup had onion skins in it which can't be chewed and the chicken soup was kind of fishy tasting. Meh Went in with my girlfriends for a quick lunch before a movie around 11:40 am. Not a lot of people yet since it was so early and people at the collection do not start to gather until midday. Anyways, I ordered the tomato soup but they were out which is fine but then I had to think quickly of something else to order. The young lady taking my order was not apologetic and looked a bit annoyed at me trying to figure out my order. Sorry, ugh. Once seated, they brought our food and forgot to get our cold brews (which tasted like watered down cocoa) until half way through or meal. They still had forgotten one of the drinks and when I got up to ask for it. It was handed to me without an apology. Just straight up handed to me. The wild rice soup and bread however were tasty so a couple stars for that. The bathrooms where in need of cleaning and one of the stalls had not TP. Geez, good thing I had a neighbor next stall. Ha!
