Normally I give this place a 4-5 but today was a little odd...maybe a training day? I still ate everything don't get me wrong but my sandwich had a few hiccups today. My go to is the Turkey bacon avocado BLT sandwich. It's delicious, balanced and not expensive but still hearty. When they called my name I was excited to eat my order once again...but something tasted off. It wasn't the balanced sandwich I normally receive. My first bite was missing something so I opened it up like the hood of my car to see what was going on. No avocado...easy fix. I took my sandwich back to the creators and they fixed me up no problem. When I returned to my table to re-consume my food, I noticed that my sandwich was a little more wet/watery as well. Normally I eat so fast I rarely notice things like this but it leaked onto my pants. Maybe it was the tomato adding to it. Either way this one incident won't scare me away from coming back because the bakery/cookies are delicious and always make my day better. read more

I love Panera's lemonade and their cookies (AND their muffins)! They are AMAZING. Quite a few other goodies too I might add (napa chicken salad--just a scoop and a toasted Asiago bagel). They can be a bit pricey, yes... but here are a few things to consider: 1) Get their MyPanera card, because the perks and rewards are awesome! 2) food taste great 3) healthy (well, maybe not the cookies), but fresh ingredients, healthy options, and nice ambiance 4) did I already mention the lemonade!!!??? I also visit the one in Citrus Heights quite often. They have a cribbage game going every Saturday morning by a cute little group that takes up the middle aisle, but there is still plenty seating! read more

I think this place is just alright. The soups here are very popular but usually, they aren't made ready until 11-12 pm. Usually I like what I order but combo lunches are tiny in portion size and prices are high. The lines can get very long too and there will only be 1-2 cashiers open so during peak times, service gets even slower. This is definitely not a good place to study either. I've been to other panera breads before and they were very student friendly with more plugs and good wifi. This one had pretty slow wifi and during lunch times, they will kick you out of the internet. Overall, it's an okay place but I'm not a fan; I don't think I'll be back. read more

Usually love love love panara...but tonight disappointed in their food and service. Ordered the thai garden chicken wonton broth bowl... the person helping me said it was chicken broth. It is definitely not chicken broth very thick rich dark broth. Also when my pager went off and I went to the pickup window the employee was very rude. While I definitely like the ambiance of this place better than Starbucks their food and beverages are really overpriced. The portions are pretty small and the food lacks flavor, but this place is good for business meetings. I like coming here for dinner and the free wi-fi. I was feeling that the service was great, but when the guys are behind the counter, the service is not so stellar. Seems that the pastries are made by different people, as there is a definite difference in taste depending on the day. The pick 2 pricing is great. Wish they knew how to brew coffee better. I come to study here often and I like how I dont get kicked out or annoyed by the workers there -compared to some other places. It does get crazy here around lunch time so be prepared to stand in line out the door and if you're looking for a quiet place-it might not be the best for you. I would say that Arlene (aside from having the same name as me), is one of the best workers they have there. She always keeps herself busy and will always ask if I was already helped. If not, she goes out of her way to help you. Not only is she helpful, but really funny when ordering food. I'm a fan of the chicken noodle soup, clam chowder, greek salad, and grilled cheese. Their pastries and bread are really good too. If you sign up for a panera card (they have a station to sign up) you get a free drink! read more

I came in with a friend and the place is not too busy (maybe coz of the gloomy weather). Staffs are friendly. The lady that helped me was so nice. I ordered Greek salad with focaccia bread and I enjoyed it. They put the right amount of dressing in my salad which I really like. The place is clean as well. I can't complain. read more

I love Panera for their salads, iced tea, and their closeness in proximity to my school. I frequent this Panera location a few times a month for lunch and I am never disappointed with the food. The chicken caesar salad is delicious, but I always ask for an additional side of dressing because the salad always seems a little dry on dressing when it comes out. Their acai iced tea is awesome: A must try! The only downfall to Panera is their parking! The lot does not provide many parking spaces and the spaces that are around the back of the building are difficult to get into. Truth be told: I hit one of the red posts with my car. Okay so discovered the french toast bagel with hazelnut cream cheese, and I'm totally hooked.

I have always loved Panera's food and ambiance. It's a great place to have a study group, a casual date, or a get-together with friends. I tend to order the "You Pick Two" with a Mediterranean Veggie (highly recommended!!) and either a soup or salad. With that said, it looks like their prices have gone up a bit, and it can get pretty pricey. My most recent visit for half a sandwich and a salad ran over $9, which isn't too bad, but a little pricey in my book. I ordered two 1/2 salads and requested no meat on both of them, and then when we got to our destination and pulled out our salads, I realized they put chicken on one them (DANG IT!). I called them and they put my name down for a free salad when I come back in, so that was nice. read more

I love Panera because they offer so many healthy choices. They also give you the opportunity to see the amount of calories each meal has, so you are aware of what you are taking in. The prices have went up a bit, but it's totally worth it for a great salad or sandwich or soup! read more

First time coming in and the service was ehh. The place opened at 7 and we got here around 11:30 and nothing was ready. All the soups weren't available so I went with the tortellini; come to fine out that wasn't ready either. So I ask what do they have available and the guy continues to tell me everything is available, obviously not if the only side I could get was salad or Mac and cheese. They should've done something to make up for the lack of the main side people come here to get. As a telecommuter I find myself moving from location to location looking for the best Wi-Fi, Electrical Outlets, and food/beverages. This particular Panera is not the best for the first two, but the third is not that bad (if you can afford them) The Wi-Fi times out during busy hours and there are not that many outlets available. read more

Love this Panera location! Their food is great, their dining area is clean. The workers are always friendly and efficient when it comes to bussing tables. Good place to sit back with a cofffee and surf the internet/do schoolwork etc. The one downside: if you come during peak hours they limit the amount of time you are allowed to use the internet. But it makes sense, they don't want a bunch of people just sitting there for four hours sippin some water and hogging the seats. PS- The rewards program is also nice, definitely sign up for it, I've gotten a few free drinks and pastries. read more

ME LOVE PANERA! I love the bagel pack! 13 bagels and 2 diff cream cheese to share at work! I love the cinnamon crunch, Jalapeno cheese, and asiago cheese! The cookies are BOMB! Love the Toffee nut! I consistently get the worst customer service here. I don't know why they can't get it together behind the counter. They seem reluctant to help. Especially a female employee name Va Vong. At different times, they've gotten my order wrong, they argue with each other, they won't go the extra distance to look up my rewards card after I told them my wallet was stolen, etc. I will not be coming back. Went to the Roseville location this past weekend, was looking for a quick bite with a kidlet. Met all my expectations for $20. My kid enjoyed their thin pizza, my chicken Parisian soup was good with half a smoked turkey, a beverage with a gooey chocolate slice of cake to share, couldn't beat it. It was busy, but not the zoo you see during peak hours - I guess that's my advice - don't go at high noon. Wish they would do away with the buzzer idea, too. read more

I usually go to the Panera Bread in Sunnyvale CA and Natomas. On Saturday, I went with my niece to this one off of Howe. I work in customer service, and this Panera Bread ruined our day. The customer service that we received was horrible. Save your time, go somewhere else. The lady that was helping us was Bonnie. She treated my niece horrible. Wouldn't hand her the card, she held it up about a foot above the counter, my niece had turned around, and instead of Bonnie saying "excuse me mam " to hand back the credit card, she dropped it on the counter, didn't place it on the counter. My niece told her that she was rude, and the girl still didn't apologize, and told my niece she had waited for over a minute. This girl should not be dealing with the public, and should not be helping customers because I am telling everyone about this experience because we were so upset that she would treat customers like this. Ii told my niece to go inside and ask for the manager but she said it would be a waste of time. Use your camera inside Manager, see what happened, and start making sure your customers get the right treatment because I will never go inside your establishment again. read more

Tried this place twice for staff lunches. Both times the employee who answered the phone seemed annoyed at having to take an order. Maybe they don't really want the business, I don't know. Both times a staff member ordered the Turkey Bacon Bravo Sandwich. Both times the bacon was not put on the sandwich. The word Bacon is IN THE NAME of the sandwich, how do you forget it???? And more than once? Won't be ordering from them again. They're food is GREAT. But to me, it doesn't matter who good the food is, if the service sucks, it sucks. Twice I've ordered from their catering menu and wanted it delivered, both times they called the day of the even saying that they will be late with the delivery because they had too many deliveries scheduled for the time I wanted. (again, TWICE this has happened) Inside this location, none of the employees want to help. You try flagging someone down, they'll act like they don't see you. When you're standing there waiting for your order, employees will walk right by you, bump into you and look at you like you're in their way...it's like they don't know how to say "excuse me". Maybe they don't, but 2 star only because the food is good and pastries are good. But besides that, service is down right HORRIBLE! read more
