I walked in and was immediately greeted and helped with taking my order to go. The service was great at the counter. I got a decent beef stroganoff (but was a little oily for me) and it came with corn bread. Yum! The meatloaf was apparently amazing and delicious... came with mashed potatoes and veggies on the side along with the best cornbread ever (as previously said, Yum!) Very sweet people. I called the day before to make sure the have gluten free options. The lady on the phone said they have options and to let them know when we arrive. We drove over an hour only to find out they don't have GF unless it's a salad. The Manager heard is mention about leaving to go to a different restaurant. The on line ordering is easy and my wife puts in the order for our pies and I go and pick them up. The place is clean and so many workers are there to help you. You come in the front for the pies. The back area is for the full meal deals. I went into the front and only three people in front of me. The line moved fast and i was already checked in and waiting for my pies in a few minutes. Marie Callender's has been there for a very long time. I am in my 50s as of three years ago I was invited by my sister who is eight years older than me. My sister stated my grandma used to work here years ago. I can remember all the family gatherings over the years grandma always bought pies from Marie Callender's. when I visited this place three years ago, I don't remember going as a child but it is a place for a family or if you're single and just want to dine in for breakfast lunch or dinner all delicious the staff is very kind very nice. I had no idea this staple piece of a restaurant was still open let alone not far at all from my home area. I recently found out that I could successfully order a pie for Thanksgiving, literally at the last minute like, the day before. The whole process was smooth. They had it completely organized, especially when I had to pick up my pie on Wednesday. Now that I know that they're open and still running for business I definitely want to sit down and have a meal there. It's been way too long. Pi Day (3/14/26) takeout review only. There was a line to order/pay at the register. The workers seemed a little flustered, but they were getting it done. With that being said, I did feel a little pressure to hurry up and order when it was my turn. First thing I saw without looking at the display case was the big advertisement at the counter for the "seasonal pie," which was chocolate cream. I really wanted banana cream pie but instead I blurted out "chocolate cream pie." LOL So on our way to the car, my friend said she should've just ordered the whole pie for what they're charging for a slice. I didn't see that the price for a whole seasonal pie was only $15, and I just paid $7+ for a slice. I guess I felt cheated that the worker didn't tell me that a whole pie is only $15 right now. I mean, buyer beware, right? My bad. But the size of the slice...I really should have bought the whole pie! And the taste wasn't all that either! It did the trick for eating pie on Pi day, but next time, I'll try to get to the other bakeries earlier before they sell out, and have to settle for Marie Callender's instead. read more

We came here on Friday, March 14, 2025 at 11:30am for lunch to celebrate. Parking was rough. All of the close parking spaces were taken. I had to park near the bank. With all of the spaces taken, there was no wait for a table. We could have waited for a booth and maybe should have, but a table worked for us. Other than the table was wiggly. It wasn't level or on solid ground. It kept wiggling as we sat there. We almost asked to change tables, but we didn't want to mess with our order. We both ordered the 2 items and a piece of pie lunch special. We both had the Potato Cheese soup and southwest salad and a piece of pie. I thought the soup was to die for. It was amazing. I'd give it 5 starts and I look forward to coming back and ordering it again. The salad was good. Nothing special. It came with plenty of chicken and crispy chips on top. The dressing was good, but we had to order more to cover the whole salad. I had the cherry pie and she had the Razzle berry pie. We both had them heated and they were fantastic. 11:30 am is a good time to come for lunch. You don't beat the lunch crowd on a Friday, but there was only a short wait for a booth if you wanted one and there were still plenty of tables. It was a rainy day out so I was surprised to see so many people out. There was a range of people eating there. There was your senior citizen crowed, as they don't have to work during the day and have the luxury of going out to eat in the middle of the day. This Marie Callender's is one of two left in Northern California (the other one is in Sunnyvale). My family and I were on our way home from dinner on 10/21/2023 when I spotted their pie sale banner. After a quick U-turn, I found myself inside the restaurant and in front of the pie counter. Although there were quite a few people in line when I walked in, I didn't have to wait long before I was helped. I got my two favorites - banana cream and coconut cream. They were $12.99 each. The transaction was swift. We were back on the road in no time. We cut into both pies after we got home. Sadly, they were not as good as they used to be. While the custard tasted fine, the whipped cream had no flavor whatsoever. Also, the crust was a bit too crumbly. Probably will not be back. read more

Well.. we went to Marie callender's yesterday October 1 The four sat down, talking and looking over the menu when our waitress arrived I can tell maybe she was in the best of moods. We smile we were polite. I ordered Thai chicken salad. What a mistake,the chicken was dry and chewy thinly cut. The dressing was to be spicy, but this only sweet. Very disappointing experience. I paid $23.90 for a BTA Omelette and coffee, and the service was terrible from start to finish. I clearly asked for no tomatoes, but my food still came out with tomatoes. After sending it back, the hash browns looked like they had been scraped together instead of being remade properly, and I had to remind staff to bring the avocado that already came with the breakfast. We met some friends here for pi day. Very busy but the server checked on us frequently and was very attentive. I had the mini shepherds pie, salad and rhubarb pie with ice cream. They are the only place that serves straight up rhubarb pie and it is sooo good. My daughter had the mini pot pie with salad and chocolate satin pie. She liked it as well. I found the clam chowder to be creamy, smooth and filling. This is the first clam chowder I tasted that was creamy. This soup was amazing. I was full from the soup that I cancelled the apple pie . Pretty good food, I'd say a solid 3.5 stars. I came here with my family a couple days after Thanksgiving and I had mixed feelings. My father ordered over medium eggs but received runny scrambled eggs. My mother also received really runny scrambled eggs which we tried to get fixed but then received really dry ones. My husband and I got burgers both of which were very good. We also got the cherry pie which I wish was warmed up some. The cheesecake also was just okay, not very solid but more on the wet side.
