    Chicken piccata pasta
    Dang Y.

I have been here with friends before. Came back and I am glad I did. Was hungry after work and wanted to try them again. Craving for pasta so I ordered the chicken piccata pasta. While waiting I got my soda and they give you bread with olive oil dipping sauce. When I came in, there was already a dinner rush on one side and they brought me to the quieter section of the place. The place is nice and clean and they take care of you right away. Waited a little for the food and I am fine with it. The dish was cooked really well. Chicken was cooked perfect and love the flavors of lemon and capers. I can have this again but want to try their other pasta dishes. Thank you.

I came in after work to take some food home. While I wait I got a mango sangria at the bar. It's an atheistic drink pretty tasty too. For food, I got: Steak salad: the steak was either superrrrr tough or somehow has a crust fried texture. I don't event know how that's possible but definitely don't waste 20 something dollars on salad. Veggie pizza: it's got a good flavor and the dough is very nicely baked. Not tough and not flimsy either. Their pizza is pretty good! The place is clean. The dimmed light is giving a good date spot. They are so short staffed though. Given the amount of work each staff member have to do you gotta be patient. Service is wonderful though. They are so friendly and helpful.

I had gift cards for this place and finally got to try it with family. It was my first time here and reading the reviews seems like it can be hit or miss. Parking is in a huge lot and shared with other shops so there's no issue with parking. The restaurant has a lot of seating and there's a variety of items. We did the deal, which was 3 pizzas for $18 (I forgot the exact deal). We got cheese (for the kids), pepperoni and BBQ chicken. I also ordered the egg rolls and there was complimentary bread with oil and herbs. We also got the chicken piccata and Bolognese. I thought everything was good, and really liked the chicken piccata. I would skip the Bolognese though. The desert was good as well. This was the kids favorite part of course. I feel like the desert could be skipped also. Service was average, since we felt like it could've been a little better. We got food to go since there was a lot. I would try again.

Great Service in Sacramento. I was able to use my $10 off $40. Thank youManager Luis Mirazo. Suggested them to have Whiskey Uncle Nearest.

Food was great! Only wish, CPK would implement back on the menu the shrimp scampi pizza. Today, server Julissa was very helpful and attentive. She made the experience welcoming. On this first Sunday in August 2025 I appreciate serve like that provided by server Julissa. All smiles and ability to provide good service. Ambiance, was nice and calm and peaceful. I was able to watch the game and get some work done in peace.

I ordered delivery and I enjoyed the chicken piccata. The food came with the free bread. Sadly they ran out of the red velvet cake.

These ranch were $1.15 each on UberEats and were less than halfway filled. One was also sour. The margherita pizza was okay. The street corn was bomb but costs way too much for how little you get.

I had a gift card from my boss for CPK and finally put it to use for my husband and I's Valentine's Day date. Walking in, the place was clean and open and the bar was conveniently in a good spot for easy access through the restaurant. We were seated and were greeted by our waitress. She asked if we wanted to take some time and we said yes. 10-15min pass and my husband and I already decided what we wanted to order but our waitress took a bit to get back to us to take our order. Finally when we got to tell her our order, it then took a while for our food come out. We were pretty impatient this day probably because we were starving and saved our appetite for this lunch date. Once our food came to our table, my husband and I split our dishes so we each had equal of the pasta and salad. The Thai Crunch Salad had a perfect Asian zing to it and my husband also added in some grilled chili lime avocados with it which was definitely worth the extra few bucks! But the star of our lunch would definitely have to be the Garlic Cream Fettucine. The sauce was the right amount of cream and the flavor was delicious. The portion size of both dishes were definitely enough to feed both my husband and I. Overall, the food was great, atmosphere and location was in a decent area, parking was convenient, but the service was just slacking a bit this day. I will probably try it again someday and hopefully have a better experience because I would love to order the Garlic Cream Fettucine again!

This was my first time trying cpk and I gotta say I'm impressed. The staff was great, the restaurant is beautiful and clean. Here is what we got: Burnt ends Mac n cheese: 5/5 Carne asada Mac n cheese: 4/5 flavor was soooo good but noodles could've been cooked a little longer and more cheesy. Mexican corn: 5/5 Churro swirl: 4/5

all my years living in California, how did i ever eat at CPK? the restaurant is listed on the inkind app so its nice you get a credit back after your meal. table of 10 on sunday early evening was nice and not too crowded. solid meal and they gave us surprised giftcard to use next time.

Margarita with a shot of Chambord. So good

They have a secret menu!! And it's all Mac and cheese with pizza toppings. I was skeptical, but it's actually very good! I tried the pepperoni, sausage and mushroom one. I added goat cheese. Really creamy and flavorful. Very cool secret menu!

Brought my girlfriend for some dinner, we ordered a BBQ chicken pizza and a margarita tomato pasta. Both were delicious and the service was great. They attended us right away and the food came out ASAP. Also got desert at the end! Very satisfied.

Avocado egg roll - 8/10, it tasted good but I wish it had a different sauce to it. One was a spicy ranch and another was a ranch. Supreme pizza - 9/10, overall very good but the crust was a little soggy. I wish it was a little bit crispier.

One of the final few? What a relief! A really nice space, large, open, not too loud, even when crowded. PLENTY of bar space as well! Big windows with natural light! The bartender, Manny was attentive and on point. I appreciated the manager checking in twice. We love our "fish bowls" of red sangria and rosé sangria, love our buffalo cauliflower, and my daughter loves the Mac & cheese, of course, even at age 25. Ordering would be easier if you brought back the Shrimp Scampi Pizza. I do appreciate the Salmon Piccata, that's one I always custom ordered... just make the chicken piccata noodles and add the cedar plank salmon or the pan-seared salmon. It seamed to throw off the kitchen when I did that, so this is easier, but TRY it with cedar plank. Try it with pan-seared. Much better than the sort of oddly charred salmon you've got going now. (Maybe it's supposed to be pan-seared but they are not nailing it?) A few years ago we showed up to our CPK in Utah to find it had closed. Last month while visiting Colorado we pulled up to one and were told it closed 3 days earlier. We found another location in CO and it looked BAD. The restaurant looked rundown. The manager looked exhausted. They charred my salmon twice then comped it. Glad to see someone is running a tight ship in Sacramento!!!

Pretty easy to look over as they have your Italian basics. We opted for a cranberry and blue cheese salad with candied nut's. We ordered a full to share. I wish we were told it was too big for just 2 people. It's good for about 3-4 people. Without knowing, we also ordered Brussels spouts, which again is for 3-4 people. As for my entree, I ordered the chicken rigatoni. I didn't get to really enjoy it because I was super full by the time it came out. It was saucy and tasted good with the chicken bites. My husband had their famous lasagna. It came out hot so they must bake it as you order which is great! I will say, he said it was extremely cheesy. He had to look for the pasta in it. He did enjoy the flavor. Circling back, we got full with the salad and a small portion of the Brussel sprouts. We had to take our entrees to go. The waitress noticed and said she should have told us that the portions to the appetizers were large. I would have just ordered 1.

Ambience: very comfortable, although very loud inside the dining room-background music along with many patrons conversing. But our wait staff was great. Friendly and engaging - but not over bearing. In fact, i gave this place an extra star just for the wait staff. Other than that, i would rate their entrees...as decent, but there is room for improvement to help raise the bar. Hence 3.5 stars overall Appetizers: 1) fried raviolis - not bad, filled with spinach and ricotta and arrived with marinara dipping sauce 2) fried calamari- too much coating which over powered the delicacy of the squid. Plus, it arrived cold. It came with two dipping sauces which helped. Entrees: 1) Two pies: Sicilian and soppresaata & hot honey: both pies were decent, arrived straight from the oven 2) farmers market salad: very fresh greens, tender pieces of chicken but was missing the fresh corn. 3) spaghetti w/meatballs: nice entree with a mild sauce, but meatballs tasted more filler than actual meat. And the garlic bread was cold 4) rigatoni aka vodka: very nice entree and our diner ordered it with gluten free pasta 5) spaghetti parmesano: entree looked great when it arrived- mild sauce w/al dente noodles but the chicken was over cooked and even dry with a layer of mozzarella that didn't help. And again arrived with cold garlic bread. Would i return? in a few years. but the service was good which made our evening. However i wish all the pasta entrees and calamari appetizer were as good as their pies. Again, little details with their appetizers, pasta, and salad dishes would have made our dining experience more enjoyable.
