I never really consider leaving ratings for chain type places but I'll leave one here as I do have thoughts. I came in looking for an iced sugar cookie because I've been craving them for a few days and everyone seems to just have the regular sugar cookies. It said on their website they had the sandal shaped sugar cookies. I couldn't find them when I first walked in and luckily I asked since they had them on a high shelf (I'm short) which I couldn't see. Since I was there anyways and I was hungry I decided to get a salad to go. Overall I got a salad meal (with medium drink and bread) plus two cookies and I paid almost $17 dollars. That's really ridiculous for a chicken Caesar salad. As for the taste, the bread was good with butter, the dressing was much more sour than I expected and didn't go well with the seasoned chicken. I believe this combo was $13.50, so my cookies were around $1.50 each. They were sizeable but not worth the price. I got the sandal sugar cookie and a lemon snickerdoodle I think. It was some sort of big lemon cookie. The flavor of it was okay but I wouldn't buy it again. Now for the only reason I went to Panera, the sugar cookie. I expected it to be a little better looking but it was lumpy and the icing wasn't even. I didn't even bother taking a picture of it. The overall flavor was okay, it was softer than expected. The icing was good too. In conclusion, the 2 is the 3 things I purchased were not good, it was over priced for what it was and I probably won't be back. The service was also decent as well and I got my food quickly, mostly because there was no one there. read more

The staff was so friendly here! The woman who took my order happily answered many questions. She gave me kind clear directions on where to find things. The staff that gave me my food were kind and friendly, too. Before I left I had to place a second order to go and both times around, with different people, I was treated great. It was so refreshing! Very unfortunate. Poor Customer Service. I normally enjoy this location to work from but definitely not anymore.... it's been a minute since I came to this Panera since it's close to home. I decided to stop by this morning for a few pastry's. The cashier with long blond hair had asked me if I was ordering any BAGELS because if not, she'll remove her gloves. I replied no but then when I told her that I wanted PASTRIES, she made a remark by saying " I thought you weren't ordering any pastries..??" I apologized if I misheard her but she only said BAGELS. She then replied in an uneasy manner saying " Well bagels and pastries are the same as they both require hand touch.." I bit my tongue to not be rude back and said thank you. She replied "mmmm uh". To top it off, my order was WRONG but good thing I looked in the bag BEFORE I left. This Panera bread in the past was clean and had good quality food. Now, the restaurant and bathrooms are in poor condition. With all that has happened with COVID-19 it is imperative they get back to being clean and hygienic. We won't be returning to this location again until things change for the better. read more

Everytime I have visited the cashier has been pretty friendly in asking what I would like. I usually get the coffee or pastry. I have never ordered lunch. Usually I come here to get something to go. Good service and pretty good food. Coffee is underwhelming as it is not a strong point. The bear claw is good as are the chocolate chip muffins. read more

I love Panera as the better choice over fast food. Delicious soups, salads, sandwiches, breads and pastries, iced teas, provided just as quickly as a drive-thru burger joint. I love this time of year because they bring out the chicken and strawberry salad with poppyseed dressing. It is the BEST! Especially if you love fruit in your salads. This selection has ice Berg lettuce, strawberries, blue berries, pineapple, pecans, grilled chicken breast, and a delicious dressing. It is so refreshing and a super size portion is enough for two people!! I ordered a soup & salad combo, so the salad portion was more than enough. Wish I could give it no stars. The cashier took my order but didn't give me a receipt or an order number. She yelled to someone in the back to make the slushy lemonade I ordered. I then was told to go to another counter to wait. The wait was long and by the time they said my order (which I wasn't even sure was my order) my drink had melted. I asked if my drink was made earlier and she lied and said she just made it. She finally offered to make me a new one but the new drink was in a much smaller cup and at this point I noticed I didn't have my salad. She said I didn't order one.... Worst Panera. I ordered a coffee and a lemonade online early in the morning. I didn't have a mask. They wouldn't give me my drinks because of no mask even though they allow people to eat in the restaurant without a mask. So then they said they were going to bring me my drinks to the car. Then forgot. Then I had to go in to Panera AGAIN to ask if they were bringing my drinks. They said yes but weren't. Then they came out to my car to ask what my order was(which was 2 drinks). What i liked best was the atmosphere and portion sizes. It doesn't take much to make me full, so I always have leftovers when I dine out. This was the perfect portion however, as I was able to finish my plate and feel satisfied. I ordered the sausage, egg and cheese breakfast item. Before leaving the pickup area, I immediately noticed how thin my food looked, and I could not see any sausage. I asked the worker, she apologized, and said they would call my number out when it was ready. The sandwich itself was fine. It was warm and filled me up. It wasn't delicious, but it wasn't bad either. I don't think there was much flavor to it. I love Panera's menu and especially love their seasonal offerings. I particularly enjoy their Strawberry Poppyseed salad with chicken! This location is conveniently located on my route to the Sacramento airport. Located about 10 minutes from the airport. Great place to get a light meal before taking off! Staff are quite nice! Restaurant is clean. Food is very good! Salads are always made fresh with fresh ingredients! Soups are delicious! There is also a nice selection of sandwiches. My go-to place before the airport because Panera's is a much better restaurant than the ones at the airport. read more

The service here is probably the worst. The employees and managers are rude. I've overheard a few employees talk negatively about working here so it clearly shows they could care less about their job. Only once have I had one of the baristas ask how I was doing and she was a rare gem to my experience. It's also usually freezing cold in the restaurant (so maybe you'll buy another latte or bowl of soup?). The overall atmosphere sucks and the food is sometimes served lukewarm at best. As some others have said, I never leave reviews for chain restaurants. But I feel like this is a good way to let them know: Please pay attention to who is in your restaurant. We stopped here for lunch about 1PM, so they were not busy. Lots of empty tables, but we were kind of hoping to sit in a nice comfy booth since we had been travelling. Every booth was filled with people working on their laptops, most at least had a drink, even though they had finished them off seemingly long ago. The annoying thing was a group of three twenty-somethings sitting with no food, no drinks, and a laptop. One had brought their own bottle of water. A 4th person arrived, carrying a bag and a drink, and I thought "oh good, someone IS eating". Turned out she had a big bag from In 'n Out! So they all sat there in Panera for the free wifi, eating In 'N Out burgers! Crazy! I have to say that our food was great; but the experience concerning. We had paid the $.99 for a cookie, and went to choose it as we left. I told the girl at the bakery about the group, and she just shrugged her shoulders, and said "REALLY? That's weird!" Then before handing us our cookies, she walked off without explanation to take a lengthy order from some people that had just walked in. Then I noticed that the MANAGER was interviewing someone for a job, while sitting at a table right next to the booth of In 'N Outers. I just reported a bad review on a Buffalo chicken cheese baguette...and I do hope they take it off their menu. I decided to tell the manager about the disappointment of the taste and lack of chicken and nacho cheese taste of cheese. She offered me a refund or to remake sandwich. We go to this location 2 or 3 times a week. Usually it is good. We always order through the app. 9 out of 10 times I check to make sure it is all there. This was the 1 time I didnt check, what a mistake. We were missing 2 chips and 1 baggette. We called to see what happened and the manager my wife spoke to (juan) said he would credit my card and it would take a day or so. No big deal, I figured since we had zero sides to any of our orders he would at the VERY LEAST comp one of the meals since they ruined all of them! To my surprise we were credited $3 to my card! Wow! Food Drinks - I order a soft drink, self-service, Mt. Dew as they have Pepsi products. My Meal Main Course - I ordered chipotle chicken on sourdough. It was lacking two things to me. Heat, I would expect at least a 1 on my heat scale for chipotle. The only thing I got was the smokiness of the peppers. Then the other was a serious lack of chicken on the sandwich. Every bite I should have chicken, but this did not occur. More heat, more chicken please. Service - I had the manager as my cashier; you think this would make life a lot easier. The three of each placed our orders. After we were done she came back to each of us to ask what we wanted for our sides. Why not ask that when we are standing in front of you. Then when I paid I handed my credit card, got it back. Then she told me she rang it up as cash, so she had to take the receipt and enter it all back into the point of sales device again. I ordered the half salad and chicken noodle soup. The soup as always, is perfect. (no additional seasoning required) My orchard harvest salad, at first, lacked the oomph that I was looking for. I had given up on Panera because their breakfast menu often says "sold out" right when they open.. but today I was craving tomato soup and a caprese sandwich on my lunch break.. placed my order on my ap.. when I got there the manager was assisting with distributing orders.. she said my name and said my order, I said yes... handed me my order and I left. I walked in and they had no soufflés at all and they said they were all sold out and they only fix so much and once they're out. They are out. It was only 10:00 A.M. what gives? I noticed the receipt and it had my name on the receipt. I ordered a green tea and an extra breakfast sandwich. The person at the counter said they ran out of the artichoke and bacon so. They put two four cheese soufflés instead. I said I ordered the bacon and artichoke on one and 4 cheese. He said they didn't have any more of the bacon artichoke. I was like what? I ordered the day before? I said what are those in the case? He said those we're already sold. The manager walked up. And said the soufflés were there. It's that them?The guy lied to me at the counter. He said the ones I was supposed to get and then told me they were out. When all reality he sold the artichoke and bacon to some one else. So the manager apologized and gave me 2 extra 4 cheese soufflés. The soufflés were cold. The guy running the register and he handled the bagged soufflés with his bare hands after touching money in the cash register. Anyway the soufflés were cold and the center of the soufflés were under cooked and runny. I ended up having to heat them in the air fryer to cook them the rest of the way. The soufflés weren't very good and un-appetizing. This location is full of young adults working here that only care about a pay check and not the quality of service or the quality of their food. This location needs some help. Ive been a repeat customer for years and this was probably the worst service. I have received from this location. Food was scrumptious (per usual) and staff was efficient, competent and friendly (per usual). I have noticed that there is a consistency in the Panera Bread world and I like that. I grabbed a You Pick Two combo. You have a choice of two of the following: 1/2 sandwich, 1/2 salad and/or soup. I Picked the 1/2 Mediterranean Vegetable Sandwich with 1/2 Asian Salad with Chicken. This also comes with a side item (I chose an apple). The salad was so very yummy. The dressing was sweet. The chicken was moist and had a hint of ginger. There were sesame seeds and I saw some fresh cilantro. Delish. The sandwich was very good too. The bread was fresh. Think feta, hummus, cucumbers, and more! So I always come in for my free sip and sit down to study for a while. Ive always had a decent experience until yesterday. Yesterday I came in as usual and used the restroom. Little did I know there was a pile of throw up right in the entrance of the stall with no sign in front of it, so I slipped and fell in it. I walked out of the restroom covered in throw up and the workers behind the counter said that they would put a sign in front of it. I probably won't be back here at this panera just because it was such an awful experience and the employees did pretty much nothing to help me. Great place to study when you want to switch from the normal starbucks studying routine though honestly don't try the turkey chili. Its tastes really bland with no flavor to it. Need to some salt and some spices to it. I have had better chili out of the can, than at Panera. Overall if your looking to study and want a fun friendly vibe from the staff talk to Jonathan. He spells his name just like mine, that was a cool unique experience. Besides the bad chili, its a great alternative to studying. I like the food but in the morning it's too long to wait to get my food. You have to wait 12 to 15 plus minutes to get a bagel! I have walked in 4 times and driven past 2 other times to find a long line and only one time ever waited for a bagel!! Today I went in and after 8 minutes I left with 6 people in front of me. I have a job and don't have 30 minutes to wait and eat one. However when I've had them they were good! I'll just get donuts and bagels aren't any healthier. I've been here several times in the evening and never had this waiting problem. At least getting a coffee drink is better, a person comes out and asks what you want and that helps. Panera has great and healthy options and I order delivery at least twice a week. I work from home and this week was very busy so I ordered breakfast delivered twice. Two days in a row they get my order completely wrong. I called both days and while the manager was apologetic and issued me a refund (which I appreciate) I was left with two options: go without breakfast or reorder and pay a second delivery fee. Yesterday I reordered but today I'm just too irritated to do that! Getting it right would be the best apology! Come on guys, you can do better!! read more
