I ordered Panera Bread catering for my work's Halloween party. It was super easy to place the order online the day before pick up. I was a little worried it'd have time restrictions on big orders, but I was able to place the catering order with no issues. I had to place a separate order to accommodate coworkers who last minute decided to come. The person who handled (I really want to say his name is Jose, but I might be wrong) my catering order was super thoughtful and made sure to put the order together with my catering one. He even called me back to double check the order when it didn't show up on the system! Thank you so much for all your help with my order!! :) When I got there, everything was packed and ready in a huge bag so it made it SO easy to bring everything with me into the office. I was worried I'd have to juggle different boxes of stuff and make multiple trips back to my car. The food was really good too! We had no leftovers lol Overall, I'm super impressed with the service and ease of ordering. I definitely will order Panera again at my next work party. :) read more

My family loves some Panera! Our typical choice after church on Sundays is here! Staff is always welcoming & gives great service and quality food! We had a small mistake in our order once and they replaced it with no issues! It's usually busy but enough room to still have a relaxing meal. They were under construction last time we came so dine in wasn't an option, but we cant wait to be back when they are complete! read more

Per how expensive it is was not worth it The sandwiches were lacking meat and no condiments at all. Sandwiches were very dry and the buns hard. It used to be good but not anymore. Not going back. read more

My bowl with broccoli cheddar in a sourdough bowl was good, but my husband got the chicken noodle soup, and they couldn't even fill it half way..we seen someone with a small bowl and had more then us ..that was disappointing. We're paying more, but a small portion is actually more . I should have taken a picture it was ridiculously a small portion . He also said taste wasn't all that like buying a can of Progresso. read more

Paneras are great in general for healthy and veggie-friendly food. I love their breakfast offerings these days especially-- a breakfast sammy on brioche really can't be beat! But this location not only got my order wrong *twice,* but then chastised me to "be more careful when I ordered." I ordered on one of the kiosks, though, and when they showed me the printout it was exactly what I thought I had ordered. It was frustrating, and no one apologized for scolding me, and it made our quick breakfast quite a bit longer. read more

I just want to let the GM or whoever reads these, that your counter staff provides excellent customer service. I come here almost every Sunday afternoon to work on homework. The ladies who take my order and prepare my food are awesome and always very nice and friendly. I didn't ask their names because I didn't want to be nosy. But whoever you have managing and work Sunday afternoons are wonderful. I've overheard customers complaining because they might be running a little behind during a rush but ignore those comments, they are people who don't know how hard food service people work and this place goes above and beyond providing a great dining experience! read more

My place to go if I ever forget my lunch at home or feeling like something different! Staff is very nice. Clean location. Can get pretty packed during lunch time. Parking can be a little difficult, but manageable. I'm obssesed with the Poppyseed with Chicken Salad (I usually get the full size, no poppyseed dressing, no pecans, extra chicken $1.79 extra, most of the time no side, but if it's a workout day, I can fit the macros of Bread on the side) Overall, a good Panera. Stale bread. That's pretty much all there is to it. Ordered @ 9:40 AM and got a half dozen bagels all stale and tough, and a chicken salad sandwich on bread that was inedible stale like break your teeth level stale. Everything else in the order was good, no problems, just the bread was exceptionally disappointing and it's the only reason I ordered from Panera BREAD. read more

Hands down if this is the last place open selling food would not go. Last trip was the worse. Most the time the staff seems to rush you and forget asking a question. Bagel selection is spotty and few to select from. Once you order , must stand outside but the call system to let you know ready doesn't exist. Saw at least three orders filled that were after me. Actually , after long wait went in and item ( strawberry / banana smoothie ) was not even started. So just left Have yo say this will be my first sub zero rating if I could. Starbucks blames crowded stores for lack of increased growth and profits - people like me dont want to elbow my way through a crowd for a coffee and baked good. Panera is peaceful, workers polite, interior warm and inviting. I think it costs a dollar or two more than my average coffee/pastry run at Starbucks but thats great - i think it keeps some cheapskates away. The efficiency at these places is also incredible. If theres a line at the counter there is a self serve order kiosk where you log in, get your buzzer, grab a self serve cup. By the time you fill your drink and find a seat your food arrives. read more

A typical Panera. Honestly, all Panera's are the same. Some might say it's "over priced hospital food" but I've always really liked eating here. I always enjoy their seasonal menus, especially during the fall time. Im really liking their new selection of flatbreads, since it's not exactly a pizza and a lot lighter. I'm also considering joining their monthly coffee subscription... I'll definitely be looking into that more. read more

I love their muffies!!!! Muffies are muffin tops that are so yummy. I love the pumpkin flavor but the chocolate chip is not bad at all.... especially when you warm it up in the microwave and the chocolate chips get all gooey and yummy. Ooh la la. Other than the muffies I think I've only tried their Napa Almond Chicken Salad. It's actually a sandwich with chicken, almonds, grapes, and some kind of a sweet dressing. The cashier asked if I wanted apples or chips with my sandwich and, of course, I chose the chips. Yuck! Maybe I should've picked apples instead! Their chips are bland and gross and I did not like it at all. There are a lot of seats inside and outside Panera Bread. It's mostly quiet. There are a lot of people with laptops and I've seen some people reading books. It's comfortable to eat here by yourself or with a bunch of your friends or family. read more

Customer Support is terrible at responding when it comes to issues with rewards. I contacted support due to my rewards not being applied to my online orders. They said they would look into it, and it has been over a month and still no response. I have reached out multiple times and no response. Now when I log into my account, suddenly those said rewards no longer exist. Never purchasing from Panera again. read more

Lines aren't as long per the pandemic, so that is on par with most places. I usually don't go to Panera Bread because of the long lines, wait time and prices. Since the first two items are currently not an issue, with prices rising in general, the prices here haven't increased (thankfully) and honestly I forgot how fresh + tasty the food. WTV issues with customer service were in the past -- that now seems to be fixed. The young manager is doing the best he can in a challenging staffing environment and the general staff is kind, courteous and respectful overall. Keep Up the Good Work. read more

Oh my. I drove from Oakland to catch a flight out of San Jose. Dinner time and I am in need of a nice warm meal. Off to Panera on Coleman near the airport. A hot bowl of creamy chicken soup with wild rice and a melty grilled cheese with tomato! Sounds great to take back to the hotel eat and relax ...NOT. The soup was watery not creamy - pretty good taste but too watery not creamy. The sandwich was thick soggy bread and I had to wear glasses to fine the cheese. The tomato on the sandwich was the ends with the core cut out - not a pretty slice. Come on Panera - I travel for work and want to think I can get consistent delish food at any Panera- apparently not! read more

4.5 stars So after passing by Panera Bread over and over after work, I finally decided to try it out. They had the two items deal, where you choose soup or salad, and half a sandwich for only $6.99. I had chosen the frontega chicken panini with chicken noodle soup and a French baguette which were all tasty and filled me up nicely. I would totally come back and try other sandwiches here and the place is very relaxing. Great music, great atmosphere, and I even purchased a gift card for a friend of mines afterwards. read more

Been here before. Never bothered to review the place. Why not? No Dutch Crunch bread! That's why! My first visit here a while back wasn't really all that. A big meh! A few days ago we decided to give it another go and this time we decided to forego the Dutch Crunch drama. Ordered the bowl of soup in Cheese and Broccoli. Company had the half sandwich and some soup. And decided to ask: "do you carry the Dutch Crunch bread? " of course not! The cashier looked puzzled and suspiciously looked like he has never heard of that darn bread! The experience was much better this time because we lowered our expectations and just came for the basics. So there! In fairness the staff was great happy people. Tables are constantly bussed and orders filled pretty quick. read more

I have been a customer of Panera's for forever always walk-in, but most recently I ordered on line for delivery. I questioned my bill, but I talking to the Manager she explained to me and was very polite and understanding. I did not get her name but she was the Manager Sunday, Feb.20, 2023 at 6:30pm. I just wanted to let her bosses know it's a pleasure to have someone who went far and above in her skills to present herself so well. Had two bad experiences in a row within a week. Paying over $15 for a pick two combo and they don't put enough meat on the sandwich to cover the bread. Also, placed a to go order but had to wait in line for over 10 mins because they didn't give me a cup and they no longer have them out. That kills the convenience of to-go. I find it funny they're pushing subscription drinks but make it quite difficult to get one. I'm done with Panera for a long time now thanks to this location. read more

A couple of friends and I had lunch at Panera on Sunday. Parking was a breeze, ordering went quickly, food was brought out to the table, and employees even cleared our plates as we finished. I don't remember having table service the last time I came. Maybe that is a new service. Anyway, I had the bacon/spinach and artichoke/spinach souffles. You know, I found a copycat recipe online and it turned out okay, but not as good as actually coming to Panera and getting the original. One friend got the BBQ chicken salad and French onion soup combo, and the other tried the shrimp salad roll w/Summer corn chowder. Everyone enjoyed their food. I don't usually come to this location, as there is a Panera closer to my house, but our experience the other day was enjoyable. Thanks Coleman Panera. read more

We go to many of the Panera locations in the Bay. Coleman stands out among them but not in a good way. The service is always decent but it ends there. The store is dirty and the bathrooms look like something out of a gas station. We have the drink subscription and the drinks here are very cloudy like there's something wrong with the water they use. I'm guessing it's just very dirty unfiltered tap water mixed into the teas. Other locations don't have this issue. Lots of homeless come in & steal ppls food & help themselves to free drinks. You can't even relax for a meal when you have to be worried about becoming a victim. Hope they turn things around. read more

I was super close to the store when I ordered online for pickup it was ready in about 5-6 mins vs the 10 mins it estimated online. The service was great. The manager was friendly and made an effort to great us and thank us for ordering. The food was consistent and fresh. Store was clean and in a good location. read more

Went here for lunch today. I ordered the summer special strawberry chicken poppy salad and my boyfriend got the bolognese pasta. My salad was absolutely amazing filled with all sorts of fruit and lots of chicken. Sadly it's only a summer thing. It's healthy and extremely filling. The pasta was a small portion for a "large". I thought that would be more of a "small". It did taste good though - the sauce wasn't overpowering and had just the right amount of taste to it. However, it lacked sauce and the bread that came with it was a bit too hard. We also got lemonade which they stated was "free refills" but we couldn't find the lemonade refill area. So we got coke instead; oh well, as long as its free refills. read more

Justin and I have a few words for this establishment. Y'all gotta add more soup to ur soup bowls!! 99% sure the soup was straight from the can except it was just half the can. my cinnamon bagel also turned out to be a cheddar cheese bagel and was maybe in the toaster for 3 seconds total... the lemonade did make up for it tho I heart lemonade! read more

Was probably only the 4th order for the day based on my order number lol but I decided to wait until my estimated completion time since I wasn't sure if they would text me when the order was ready (they didn't). For ~$15 I think it's pretty good for a healthy option! Salads at restaurants are usually $8 for a side salad with no protein or I've seen $14 without protein + $6 to add protein, so this pricing feels just right! I ordered a blazing bird salad and the steak supreme salad. Also was able to save $2.25 by removing green onion and cranberries. The steak supreme salad was tangier than I was expecting. I think I'll get the other steak salad option next time.

Overall: 6.2/10 I'd likely only be back under circumstances where I just can't find better healthy food.

Pros: Predictable food items, fresh coffee, plenty of seating (especially in mini-booths), owner tries real hard to be helpful. Cons: Bathroom sometimes dirty and missing paper towels. (I've mentioned to them on two separate occasions.) Ordering is often an annoying process. (For example, I often have to step away from the cashier to look at the items off to the side, further back in the line, because I cannot always remember everything.) Also, they ask many questions to be extra polite, but it annoys me. (One example: do you really have to ask me every time if I want my souffle and pastry on the same plate? I really don't care, either way is fine.) read more

Great food and customer service, but do not go here if you are planning on getting anything done on your laptop, smartphone or tablet. First, the wifi is slow to begin with. Sure, they have signs saying it's high speed Internet. It's not. Downloads take forever! Second, after two hours, you will be cut off. You can't log back in because the system apparently keeps a record of your IP address. Third, if you try to use a wifi hotspot from your cell phone -- good luck. After multiple attempts and rebooting my laptop, no luck. For those who want to actually get work done, you're way better off going to Starbucks. read more

There is one word that sums up the food at Panera ... Boring If you are dying for a bowl of soup that is average at best, this is your spot. The sandwiches are all tasteless and I can't really figure out why people like this place. The worst thing about coming here is that there is never anywhere to sit, you have to roam around until your food gets cold before you can sit. It's mainly due to all the morons who come here to do work on their laptops and hold down tables for 5 hours. If you are one of those people, just know that I hate you oh so very much. read more

Panera has great pastries and breads. I usually get my cheese pastry, soooo good. This place is usually streaming with people in the mornings. I'd have the say the sandwiches are above average. Not the best, but good. Their soups are also decent, but also nothing I would crave. Their house mocha's are pretty good. You see a lot of students hanging out here with their laptops. Seems like a great place to study and hang out with your friends. They have a microwave so you can reheat your food if it gets a little cold. read more

I stopped at this Panera Bread with one of my girlfriends for lunch today, and the food was pretty good. We split a bowl of black bean soup, a full sized barbecued chicken salad, two sprouted grain rolls, and a carrot cupcake for less than $10 each. This Panera has lots of outlets to plug in lap tops, tablets, or mobile phones, and the wi-fi is free. We observed several students studying in groups or alone on their lap tops. I suspect this place gets VERY crowded during mid-term and finals weeks. read more

I've had two meals at Panera... and I still can't see what all the hype is about. The food is not bad and is a decent value, but its not that great in flavor. I've had two salads here: the chicken caesar and the thai chicken... both were pretty bland and they didn't put enough dressing, but the dressing wasn't that great either. I've been here a few times, and I've never been too impressed with their service. Tonight I had the you pick two, with the bistro French onion soup and the ham and swiss sandwich. They were out of rye bread which was annoying, and they forgot to hold the tomato on my sandwich. The food tastes good and service is pretty quick but they often get orders wrong. read more
