    Biscoff Iced Coffee

Pretty good Vietnamese coffee. I got the biscoff coffee and the cream is the biscoff flavoring, which is very light. The worker made it quickly which was nice. However for the price of $8.50, I would go somewhere else.

Soooo trying out this "viral" biscoff coffee and it's at the Berryessa location now thought it would be hella good but....it was mid 8/10....will I get it again....maybe.

    Checking out Lee's in Berryessa!

I stumbled upon Lee's Sandwiches on my way to SJC airport while the kiddos wanted Taco Bell that was tight beside it. I have heard about Lee's, especially their coffee, but have never been to one until now. Located off the Berryessa exit on 680, it's has sufficient parking and signage that you can't miss it. The place is big, clean and lots of offerings. There is a dine in area with a wide screen TV to watch. As you walk in there is a mini mart of vietnamese goods. The gentleman at the register was very helpful as I asked about the sandwiches. In the end, I stuck with my favorite Pork and Pate combo, #11 on the menu. It's the only sandwich that you can purchase as a half too. I noticed a rice wrapped item on a warmer, and was told it was stuffed with ground beef in it. Out of curiosity, I bought one. My order would not be complete if I didn't get Lee's famous iced coffee! The sandwich is definitely 2 servings, and was good. I just wished that there was a little more pate than just a smear. The rice item was warm delicious! It was like a sticky rice you find at a dimsum place without being wrapped in a leaf. It was so good that I forgot to take a picture. Iced coffee is strong and sweet, as expected from a Vietnamese coffee. I added more ice to dilute it for my taste. Although they have several locations in Northern CA, mostly are in the San Jose (South Bay) area while there are 3 locations in the SF Bay Area. I will definitely come back and try other items on the menu.

This used to be one of the best sandwiches Lee sandwiches in San Jose . My stomach hurts just know I was seconds away of eating a fly I can feel the maggots now. Shame on yourself these sandwiches.

Service was amazing, super fast. A few people here, like a steady 5 or 6 coming and going. They have lots of snacks here and candies too. Plenty of drinks in the cooler to choose from. They have 3 large tvs playing various channels, right now its the morning news 23 bucks for breakfast and lunch for me today. The place was very clean and open layout which was nice.

It's been a while since we've eaten Lee's Sandwiches after moving to Northern California since we don't have any in our little town. We ordered 2 Grilled pork and BBQ pork sandwiches....OFF THE HOOK GOOD!!!!! Salty sweet combination with the crisp veggies and fresh French baguettes leaves me craving Lee's more often.

I have been to Lee's several times in the past when I lived in this area. I am not a sandwich fan but I enjoy the Asian twist on these baguette sandwiches. I got a chicken sandwich this time around. The veggies were fresh and crisp with the cucumbers providing a cooling effect against the fiery jalapeno slices. The chicken was tough though as was the bread itself. It took some effort to chow it down. I didn't enjoy the hard chicken much. The store/cafe has some aisles of Asian groceries and some tables as well. They also have some prepackaged fresh food like noodles, rolls, rice etc for a quick grab and go at very reasonable prices.

Anytime I am in the San Jose area I have to make a stop at Lees Sandwiches. They have a huge selection of Vietnamese and European sandwiches. Today I tried the vegan fried chicken sandwhich, what I love a lot about lees if their fresh baked bread. The sandwich was super fresh, love biting into the hot fried "chicken" mixed with the cucumbers, pickled carrots and daikon and fresh jalapeño. It was the perfect mix of fresh, spicy and flavorful.

It's a Lees ... but we know they can vary. Good quality from this one the visits I have done this year since I discovered it. I go with the Special Combo with pate. This one has a good interior as well.

Picked up a sandwich for my mom. She only likes their grilled pork banh mi with no mayo or soy sauce. She can never get tired of them, as she says. The bread is always crunchy. The vegetables are fresh, and the pork is slightly sweet and nicely marinated. I flip flop between this one and their combination banh mi.

The location of the store seems a little far away because it's in the corner by Safeway's gas station off to the side, so I imagine some people miss it. So keep an eye out for it next time you're in the mood for some hot subs. Chris, the owner, was so kind and explained everything to us. He was patient, informative, and professional. It's nice to see owners work at times and treat their customers so genuinely! So thank you, Chris! The store is honestly decorated so well. There's details everywhere on the wall, and it's all dedicated to San Jose culture and first responders. The ambiance felt local and cool. Now for the food, my husband ordered the Build Your Own Sub with Pastrami and it was delicious! I ordered their new and off the menu French Dip sub with aus ju and IT WAS SO GOOD. Highly recommend to get it now while they have it! Special notes: - All subs are served hot! - They have a hot sauce bar with unique sauces all leveled off from (1-10). 1 = mild and 10 = spiciest! Affordability: both of our subs came out to be around $20 for two large subs. Some people may view the prices as pricey, but if you get a large sub it's definitely worth it. Check out the photos for reference (I don't think the photos do the large size justice though because they are HUGE) and give Firehouse Sub a try for yourself!

The venue at the corner of a newer shopping plaza. There is a decent amount of seating inside and outside as well along with plenty of parking around. #Sandos: ~ Hook & Ladder - 3.5/5 The most basic one...I think. Smoked Turkey breast, Honey Ham, and melted Monterey Jack cheese, served with lettuce, tomato, onion, no mayo for me, and deli mustard with a pickle spear on the side. The sub were just okay for me, nothing amazing. ~ Firehouse Steak & Cheese (Large) - 3/5 Looks much better in the brochure. It's fine, tasted OK. Nothing to brag about, don't let the sando sit around. Make sure you finish it all at once or it will get soggy... may be its because of the oil and vinegar dressing I opted for? Not sure... The wheat bread is a tad too sweet for my liking and the white bread is just plain and flavorless. I do wish they provided options like Sourdough or Dutch Crunch, which also happen to be healthier for you. I wanted to complain that they were expensive but then realized that's how it is everywhere now. That food inflation is no joke... I'd stop by if nothing was around. Not so sure I need to try other items on the menu.

Heard rave reviews so we had to stop by when in San Jose! Came on a weekday afternoon and boy there was a line but we were determined. It moved quickly so it was about 5 mins to order and another 20 mins for our order. There was a lot of people waiting out front (pickup is by the pickup window), which can be confusing and crowded. It was all worth it! We all got the banh mi dac biet (cold cut) and I split a large with my sister, which was super filling and nicely priced! Firstly I was a big fan of the baguette bread, I like the texture and how it's crunchy. The cold cuts were thickly cut and they were generous with the amount. It was so thick I couldn't open my mouth wide enough to bite it all at once lol. There was also a good amount of veggies (do chua, cucumber, cilantro, jalapeños) and I thought the amount of pate was perfect as well! All in all, super delicious, would recommend and I would definitely go out of my way to come back here if I get the chance!
