Just left here. Worst service at any panera I've been to. There were only 3 people in line at 8:30 on a Saturday, but it still took over 20 minutes to get through. Then the coffee was all out. I told one of the cashiers who must have forgotten so I sat there waiting thinking it was being brewed when, nope. So I ask the same girl again and she acts like I'm bugging her and barely makes a move to get someone to brew it. Expecting another 20 minute wait, I just take the decaf and leave because I'm now late. Wish I saw the Einstein up the road before....Avoid this one. read more

Very slow service. The food was good but it's not somewhere you can go on your lunch break because it takes wayyy too long to get your food.

A few weeks ago my boyfriend and I decided to stop here to grab a bite. We had the BEST cashier, this was on Christmas Eve, anyhow my review is not based on that night but it's based on today and literally 7 minutes ago. I thought it may be bad that I'm writing this as I'm sitting here waiting for my food, but the cashier that helped us today was awful. With the current weather situation, I can understand her frustration on having to come in to work, but it does not make it okay for you to take out your frustrations on any customers. It's all about how you speak and handle yourself when speaking. After today, I won't come back, which isn't an issue that will concern them, but I would much rather drive to buckhead's Panera Bread location than to deal with it. A company is paying you to be there, if you don't want to be there, then obviously you don't need the check so quit. I mean, if you see someone looking up at the menu and walking up to your register, the proper thing to do is speak, greet that customer and keep it friendly. useless management - can never get a rapid order pick up ready ever! never again will i even think about using panera for catering. showed up to pick up $110 order and didn't have it, said it wasn't in the system, i had to go to the car and bring in the paperwork. now trying to get a refund that's going to take 30 days. they don't care if they inconvenience the customer! don't eat here. they will not get your order right even if you just order a bag of chips. tear down this useless restaurant and put something in it's place that can serve food the right way. keep driving past this place if you want to have a non stressful meal. useless staff and manager! read more

I really like Panera Bread! Took off 1 star since the portions are small and it's pretty $$$ for what you get. I recommend the Broccoli Cheddar soup- it's so delicious I could eat it nearly every day. Don't go for the bread bowl- you end up getting more bread than soup and it's around $8. Their pastries are yummy too, and you can add a pastry for only $1 with your dinner (grab one for the next morning's breakfast!) read more

Just ordered the kale caesar salad that they love promoting; if you choose the rapid pickup option, make sure that they remembered the kale.

I'm so disappointed. They literally were "out of" everything I tried to order. Out of the three breads I asked for my sandwich on, out of the three bagels I asked for, out of baguettes, Out of the soup I ordered, etc, etc, etc. I honestly wish I just left instead of modifying my order so much bc it was such a hassle. The soup was very delicious. I always order the tomato bisque. It was really busy but the time it took to get my soup was not long at all. Overall a good quick place to get a nice quality meal. Keep in mind you will be spending at least 10$ here but the food quality is clean and nutritious. read more

Worst Panera I've ever been to. I ate a similar meal in California and it was twice the size. The chicken was mush and the salad as bad. I ordered their signature dishes and it was embarrassing. The buzzer didn't work. They put it in a to-go when I asked to eat in. Just horrible service and unclean restaurant. I am amazed at the slow service at this location. There is no sense of urgency and apparently not adequate training. It seriously takes over 10 min each Sunday to get a couple of bagels to go when it is not crowded. I don't even go when it's busy. It's too bad as its a great location but if you are in a rush, may not be a good choice. read more

The first time I went to this Panera we attempted to order bread bowls with mac and cheese. The cashier informed us that they were out of bread bowls, at which point we ordered the mac and cheese without a bread bowl. When asked what sides we would like we asked for baguettes to which the cashier began to get annoyed at us and said "I said we were out of bread.." I was unaware we were supposed to translate "we are out of bread bowls" as "we are out of bread entirely". I thought maybe this was just a bad night for them, but the second visit got even worse. My roommate and I had ordered rapid pick up which said it would be ready by 6:40PM. My order was not out until 7PM and my roommate's was no where to be seen, which we informed the cashiers. We then proceeded to the end of the counter to watch for her order which was sitting on the counter next to the manager. We watched for 5 minutes as it remained untouched until we asked him if it was ready. He snapped at us that he had been waiting for us to let the cashiers know it wasn't there (despite the fact we had). He then told us that the mac and cheese was out and my roommate needed to choose a different soup. She chose broccoli cheddar and we left. It wasn't until we got home that we realized the mac and cheese was $2 more expensive than the broccoli cheddar, so now she didn't get mac and cheese and she had essentially been over charged by $2 to get something she didn't really want. On top of it all, my panini was lacking the spinach and the chicken hardly covered half of the entire sandwich. Definitely never going back to this location. read more

So disappointed in the catering at this location. I order catering for my company/clients all the time and this time my group wanted Panera. I haven't had the best luck with them in the past, but I decided to give them another shot. WOW, I will never order catering from here again. It makes me sad because I have had great non-catering experiences here. I ordered my food for delivery the day before (ordered on 1/10 for delivery on 1/11 between 11:30am - 11:45am). It wasn't a big order; 10 boxed lunches. The day of delivery 11:45 rolls around and no order. I called the store to see if the driver was on the way. They told me she was out making other deliveries and would have her call me. My group had a specific lunch time of 12:00pm in order for their meeting to stay on track which was why I made sure to put some cushion time in for delivery. Well, 12:00pm hits the clock and still no lunch and no phone call. I called the store again and they told me they would have the driver call. This time I received a call 10 minutes later letting me know she was 5 minutes away. Finally at 12:25pm she arrives. She said she got confused when she got to the building. Ok fine, but 45 minutes?! You couldn't call me for directions?! Absolutely ridiculous. So we go in the meeting room to deliver the boxes; 2 were missing. Luckily, one person never made it to the meeting so I forfeited my box and the delivery girl said she'd bring me one (which she did). This still meant we were short a box, but I wasn't going to have her bring the 10th one to just let it sit there. So my clients did not eat until 12:30pm and I did not eat until 1:00pm. If we did need that 10th box, I would be livid. I can go without eating until 1:00pm but I'm not going to make a client do that (ahem, customer service). I have had big catering mess-ups happen like this before; this isn't my first rodeo. However, when it's something this bad I at least expect a phone call from the manager with an apology. When I didn't receive one, I called (I always make sure to call at a non-peak time ~2-3ish). I guess the manager has nothing to do with catering because she quickly handed me off. I reached catering and it was like nothing happened. When I asked for a refund for the 1 box we paid for and never received she first gave me an excuse saying that I only asked the driver to bring back one box. Does that matter? We still paid for a box we never received AND lets not forget it was 45 min late! Then she asked me if I wanted the box. It is 2:30pm in the afternoon... no I do not want the box. Then finally she said she'd give me a refund for the 1 box. After she took my credit card information for the refund, she gave me a really quick "sorry about that" and we hung up. "Sorry about that" is if you forget to put cheese on my sandwich. I expected a lot more than that sad apology for being 45 min late AND missing food. Needless to say I will not be ordering catering from here again and I will make sure the rest of my office knows what happened today as well. There are too many sandwich places in this area that are consistently on time with good quality for us to use Panera again. For a place that charges so much for their catering, they really need to work on their customer service. read more

Went there today with my son. Servers were friendly. Cookies there used to be hard but the one we got today was extremely soft and so good. Ice coffee was fresh. I ordered strawberry poppyseed salad but strangely there was no strawberries but pineapples. I guess they were out of strawberries but I have to say that it tasted better with pineapples than strawberries. We enjoyed our meals and left satisfied. read more

I will stick to panera bread in East Cobb, Duluth and Alpharetta, I am never coming back here, WASTED TRIP, the service here is poor and pathetic, I didnt feel welcomed like I feel in other locations, the waitresses didn't seem to know their job neither were they willing to explain to my friend who has now had a bad first experience, quite embarrassing for me seeing that i had been praising panera bread like crazy... They need to be friendlier, and serve us better i am not asking for free stuff i am actually paying for what i am getting. Pretty rude on the phone and customer service is kind of lacking, don't even offer to fix mistakes and take forever on people's lunch breaks. Love Panera--if it's one thing about places like this, you come to rely on consistency in food and service. I've called this location my "go-to" favorite because although it's definitely crowded during rush hours, they've typically managed the lines and rush quite efficiently. My rating above, however, reflects the consistent decline in service over the past few visits (approximately 4 times w/i 3 months). The service is borderline "poor". I've had "greeters reroute me to different lines only to be rerouted again. There are the cashiers talking behind the "open doors" as if not to be bothered. I've even overhead one cashier remark that she "Just could not take the line at the bakery and was only opening an additional line this one time." When I begin to feel that I'm a burden rather than a paying customer, I tend to find other more desirable locations. I'm hopeful management will take note of this decline and make improvements to reflect the quality we've come to expect from Panera Bread Co. read more
