It's 7:00 on a Friday night and the Panera on scenic Hwy in Snellville is open until 10:00; however, the shelves are bare...no visible bagels, pastries or loaves of bread to purchase. We went by to pick up iced sugar cookies and a specific chocolate chip cookie and they had none. Very few cookies and pastry choices. My granddaughter broke her arm and specifically asked for those cookies. Who wants to eat dinner at a restaurant that looks like they have already closed for the night. It wouldn't be so upsetting except the last time we took grandchildren there for breakfast at 8:00 AM on a weekday they were out of egg soufflés! I love Panera Bread but the change to the Italian sandwich is horrible and insulting. It's literally 1/3 to 1/2 the size of the old version. I get the Pick 2 everytime I visit and I'm very unhappy with this newer version. half the food but the same price. read more

Risk vs. reward .... In my mind, as simple as it may be, soup and salad are the two of the most basic foods available. It does not take a degree in rocket science to make them. Maybe just some creativity and a green thumb. I guess what I am getting to is that I can produce a salad just as good or actually even better at home for 1/3 cost. The soup that is sold at Panera doesn't seem to be "homemade" but store bought quality. I've seen them dump cold packaged soup from a bag / container into the heating vestibule. The are often salty and average overall taste. Now ... the one benefit I see from visiting Panera bread is the bread. It is usually very fresh and a nice variety to choose from. Who can resist fresh bread and real butter ?? Overall I just can't see paying the Panera prices for what you get from them. This location in Snellville does seem to be fairly clean. I love hanging out and dining at Panera when I can. I decided to try the Snellville location since I was in town and needed a quick snack. Well, the service was horrendous and I actually ended up getting in an argument with the woman at the pick-up counter because I misunderstood the "new" menu. I told her it was my mistake and if it was possible to change it. She said "Well if you don't want it, just throw it away like you should so I can make you yet another sandwich" --I thought that was highly rude and argued to see the manager. She said he wasn't in, so instead I had to deal with her. That was just absolutely ridiculous. Needless to say, I put up with her attitude and ended up calling corporate ASAP read more

Good fresh food. The tomato basil soup is okay and not my favorite but it suffices. The salads are good and portions are a decent size. The sandwiches are alwaya good. I like the apple as a side even though the kettle chips are good too. Sign up for an account and you will be emailed coupons. This is my 6th trip here to get a loaf of French bread, ONCE AGAIN -not available. It's only 1:20PM in the afternoon. Is my luck or is their French bread just flying out the door the minute they made them?! The first 5 trips I made were after 5PM, I thought probably sold out due to the after work crowd. Today I purposely came at 1:20PM, only disappointed ONCE AGAIN. For whatever reasons they don't have what I want after my 6 attempts. It's time to find other alternatives. I have to say, this Panera has critically gone down. I have been coming to this particular location for a long time. These days, they almost NEVER have coffee available. As I type this review, I am standing in the store waiting for coffee to be brewed. It really doesn't matter if I came early in the morning or midday, they never have coffee. Additionally, my order has continuously been incorrect. I use the self serve kiosk and still end up waiting. I keep saying that I will stop coming here but I keep coming. Shame on me. I have been going to this Panera for years. If you are looking for a quiet place to grab some good food, go somewhere else. One of their machines squeaks loudly and constantly (this has been a problem for as long as I can remember). I have complained about this repeatedly before, and so has my husband. Every time the manager apologizes and assures us someone will look into it. In the past, we have ultimately dealt with it because there were so few options in Snellville. However, that is no longer the case. We will be taking our business elsewhere (as we did today) until this problem is fixed. read more

First time visiting and they left my meat off my sandwich. It caused me to turn around and go back in the cold. Wasn't very happy but mistakes happen. I regret coming to this Panera Bread. We ordered steak and egg. It was disgusting. All red and bloody. I went up to get another order they told me, "there is a microwave over there, you can heat it up." I am very upset with the way they treat their customers here. I would not give 1 star if I could. I ordered a 4 of cinnamon rolls online. It was a completed order and paid for online. I also order this to be customer pick up inside. I got to the store and looked for my order on the shelf. My order was not there. Therefore I went to the register and asked about my online order and what it was. A tall younger guy went to the back to look for my order and came back empty handed. He explained that they ran out of cinnamon rolls. Well I was pissed because I drove over there paid for my order online and I got there and nothing. I asked if they could check another store Loganville to see if they had it and I was told they aren't allowed to call another store. At this time a store assistant can out not a manager to explain they couldn't call only refund my money. I never got a apology or could we get you something else. I got nothing of that sort. This is trouble customer service I have ever seen. This was around 6:00 pm on a Sunday. I called Loganville cafe and I explained the situation and they apologized and offered to have a pack ready for me the following day . We decided, at the request of Tyler, that we should try to take a day off and not do any work. Of course, we all talked about work, went into a camera shop to discuss the new line of Sony cameras and into a music shop to play music and get kicked out. But we tried to not do any work. So we took a walk and got lunch at this bread place and I was extremely tired and Snellville was beginning to weight on my self a bit much after this point and I was wondering what the rest of the world was doing at the very moment I was ordering some sort of sandwich that was not that amazing but was vegetarian. And letting it slowly dawn on me. My standards of food have dropped to appreciate anything. Anything that I can eat, that does not have meat. And they did this and I could eat. The food is good of course at Panera however with this location can take forever with taking orders. I have recently come here for lunch and the line was out of the door. This is something to keep in mind in case you have a short lunch break. We had to dine at a different restaurant because of this experience. In a different experience I ordered a vegetarian sandwich however I got a chicken sandwich. I was tight on time and call the restaurant tell them about my experience however the manager did not seem concerned about the mistake. With so many restaurants around the area there are many options to choose from. Panera would not be one for me. read more

Panera has the best pastries and the sandwiches are delicious. Light and yummy eats that give you a nice pick me up to handle the day.

Such a great place for lunch! Everyone is happy and helpful, it is always busy but there are a ton of seats and high chairs for the babies and the food always comes out fast. My recommendation is if you order a cappuccino ask for a large mug and sit a while and relax. read more

This location needs more management training. Once again our orders were wrong and management doesn't want to rectify your order or apologize. Coffee was burnt and our vegaterien sandwich had turkey on it instead of avocado. The manager finally refunded our sandwiches the next day and she never apologized. After arguing with my husband over whether or not we paid with cash or debt....she finally looked at our receipt and gave us a refund and never said I am sorry. This store stays consistently beter than good and usually bordering great. I've seen a few new faces at the registers over the last two years but the quality of the folks is always good. This isn't surprising considering the management. This Snellville Panera has a great management team that I'm always pleased to work with. I regularly pick up breakfast on the way to work as well as have it catered for lunch at work anytime a drug rep needs a good suggestion for quick, easy, and inexpensive, AND tasy. If you need catering talk to Bill their catering manager. That guy should be running a small corner of that company himself. I can't stress how all these folks take the time to give you personalized service in everything they do. One of my co-workers likes the Blueberry scones baked a little more well done so I call ahead in the morning before I leave the house and ask them to baked one a little extra for me to pick up on my way by. I thonk I paid like $8 for a bowl of macaroni that I saw a guy take out of a package and microwave.
