Panera is a solid spot to have a quick meal during a busy day of running errands. The food is always perfect and it doesn't make you feel like you're heavy after you're done. Today I got the chipotle avacado chicken sandwich with a chocolate chip cookie and chips. Originally wanted the candy cookie but they were out - the chocolate chip cookie was a great backup; it was chewy, crunchy, and melted in my mouth. Also, this place has wifi so if you want to get some work done this is a great place to do it. The building is interestingly laid out and the staff are amazing at coming around asking how the food is, how we are doing, and take our trays back. Will be back the next time I have a full day of errands to do.

Mary and I stopped in to try the new flat bread pizza. All COVID-19 requirements were in place. Friendly staff took our order. We tried the chicken, bacon, chipotle pizza and the Margarita pizza. Both were tasty but nothing special.

This has some Caesar dressing on it but doesn't actually count as a Caesar salad.

Had an underwhelming lunch experience here today. They have an automated ordering kiosk system now with buzzers and today, my buzzer didn't work. After quite awhile I went to the kitchen window and my food was sitting there on the counter, getting cold. So I get my food and sit down; no spoon was provided with my soup. I go looking for silverware around the soda area and there's nothing, so I have to go back to the kitchen window again and ask a cook for a spoon. There was zero staff at the front or back of the restaurant to help with any issues. The food itself was not great. I ordered a half Caesar salad and what I got was a spinach/arugula/red lettuce mix with a bland Caesar dressing and no parmesan added (other than what was already in the dressing). The cup of chicken noodle soup tasted okay but was way too salty. Then I had to bus my own dishes. I remember a couple years ago this Panera had staff who would bring your food out to your table and the quality of the food itself was much better.

I was in Spokane for a conference and stumbled upon Wooden City because it is on the Spokane "where…read moreto eat list". A deeper dive showed a good possibility of gluten free options, so I made the reservation. I was in town on a Monday, just after Hoopfest, but they were the kind of busy where a reservation should always be made I think. My table was ready and I sat in the bar at a high top table. I think I would choose "in the dining room" next time. My server was friendly and quick, as well as knowledgeable about gluten free options. There is even a separate menu that lays out the dishes that are already gf or could be made to be. Love this, always. I ordered the summer salad to start. It was amazing. Flavorful. Fresh. The mint wasn't overpowering, the watermelon was the perfect ripeness. It was so good. I would try to recreate it but it was done so well, and I know I couldn't hit that dressing in the same way. Get it while you can. For my main, I had ordered the scallops in my brain before I even arrived. The risotto was a little soupy, but the flavor was SO good. The corn came through and it went so well with the scallops. The tomatoes were quite over salted, but as long as I didn't eat them alone, it was alright. The scallops were perfectly cooked and I felt like the portion was appropriately sized for the dish, even though there were only 4. My server really made the experience enjoyable. The atmosphere was busy but the booths looked like they could be cozy. The prices were on the higher end. But for a special occasion, it was worth it. I really wished I'd had room for dessert. I will surely go back the next time I am in town.

First off, I was looking for an authentic Napoli style pizza. Like a fresh red sauce from crushed tomatoes and a beautiful chewy, pillowy, yet charred crust. The verdict: Wooden City is the winner! The crust is really really good! The sauce is a bright beautiful tomato sauce that looks like crushed tomatoes however, the sauce was lacking flavor:( I would give this pizza a 3 out of 5. The crust is a 4 1/2 star but the sauce lacking in flavor..brought it down to a 3. Cute place, very pleasant friendly staff..way friendlier vibe than Barrelhouse. The boys are easy on the eyes for younger girls on the hunt! Lmao Don't bother with the Margherita pizza at Barrelhouse. Thank God I only paid $12 for the Margherita Monday deal of half off! The crust was horrible! Dominos has better crust! Costco pizza's had a better crust! The sauce has flavor, very garlicky like fresh garlicky but more of a paste with a load of oregano in it. The cheese didn't have that fresh taste I was hoping for. However, they are known for their Detroit pizza's which I haven't tried but if it's the same sauce, I would pass. Not saying it's bad but it's just not MY cup of tea whether it's for a Detroit style or any pizza. Now you don't have to guess which place has a better Margherita pizza. I wouldn't even pay $12 at Barrelhouse for a marg. Would I come back, yes, if I were in my 20's.. lol but since I'm older and the food is more important to me...no...:/ But hey, maybe their other pizza's are better! I can see a salty pepperoni being good!

The biggest issue right away was how long the food took. It felt like we were waiting forever, and by the time it finally came out, it definitely didn't feel worth it. We started with the pretzel, which honestly was nothing like a pretzel. It tasted more like glorified fried dough and didn't have that classic pretzel texture or flavor at all. For drinks, mine was way too strong and just didn't taste good. It wasn't balanced at all and ended up being hard to even enjoy. For my main, I ordered the Cascadia burger medium, but it came out clearly well done and overcooked. On top of that, the egg on it was severely undercooked.. some of the whites were still clear and slimy, which completely ruined it for me. I had also heard good things about the mac and cheese, so I gave it a try, but that was another disappointment. It was bland and runny, and even after adding salt and pepper, it still had no real flavor. My husband ordered the chicken sandwich, which wasn't terrible, but it was definitely on the dry side. They were also out of fries, so he had to get fruit instead, which was kind of disappointing. Overall, the food took way too long, the quality didn't match the price, and the experience just didn't live up to the hype at all. Unfortunately, we won't be returning.

Finally, a place that has HEALTHY, CLEAN, and MACRO friendly options! Not only are they clean, healthy and macro friendly ingredients, they are also QUICK. The inside is bright and clean and the decor is tasteful. I love it. I have tried just about all of their bowls and there isn't one I don't like. The service is always timely, the employees are very sweet and accommodating, and the food, again, is so yummy and not too expensive. This person who said they got "maybe a cup of food for $42.00" is exaggerating. The bowls are usually between $14 and $18 depending on any substitutions or additions I make and it is plenty food. I am rarely able to finish it in one sitting. Some people have mentioned the bowls being dry without an extra side of sauce (so order an extra side of sauce.....?), I don't entirely agree, but I think people need to remember that this place is all about healthy eating. Drowning the bowls in sauce, changes the calories and macros in the bowls. It's like when you eat a salad, but then smother it in ranch dressing. You might as well have had the cheeseburger, because It's no longer as healthy as you want it to be. I think it's important for people to remember this is healthy eating. This is not smothered in sauce, cooked in butter, full of preservatives eating, it's healthy! This is what good wholesome clean food tastes like! It's good and good for you! Someone else said the mango salsa was cold. I don't think I have ever had heated up or warm mango salsa, and I'm not sure I'd want it, so I don't think this is something to hold against them either. I have had the blackened shrimp with mango salsa bowl many times. It's actually one of our favorites! I usually want extra mango salsa, because the combination with the lime creme and the blackened shrimp is perfection! It's so good! I love their food and I love that we have them as an option in Spokane now! We can finally get a quick healthy meal that we can feel good about! I will keep going and keep trying everything you make! Just tried the new Miso Ginger bowl last week and it was AMAZING.

The app for three came with pita bread, falafel, hummus with babaganous, tzatiziki, and dolma. The falafel had a wonderful herby flavor, but was really soft and nearly mushy. The hummus was okay, a nice texture but was just okay. The tzatiziki was herby, a member mentioned it was too sour for her, but another enjoyed it quite a bit. The pita was soft, but just didn't have much flavor and tasted a bit old. I had the gyro sandwich with fries. The food was not hot and the meat lacked charring. The cuts were uneven and the fries were just fries. A member of my party ordered the chicken sharma. The rice was delious! Fluffy and had a wonderful flavor with turmeric and some other spices. Her meat was also cooked nicely, but honestly just lacked flavor. The salads of both the shish kabobs and the chicken Sharma were fresh but had really uneven cuts. The shish kabob meat was beautifully charred however the meat was cool. Also the rice lacked flavor and was only saved by the cliantro lemon vingrette. The drinks were nice. We got cucumber, lemongrass, and hibsus. They were all mild in flavor which paired well with the food. Honestly everything was lacking depth and care.
