Stopped by here on 7/26/26 for my first meal of the day. This was my first visit to this location. I've been to other Panera Bread locations within Washington state. I honestly have to say that the Puyallup location is the best for me. Why? There's a level of personal connection and they deliver your food right to your table. It feels like home. As for all the other locations to include this one, you are provided a pager to pick up your food. Some locations do not have pagers, they would yell out your name and then you pick it up. I ordered the toasted Italiano with the Fuji salad with potato chips. This was a mix and match meal which costs $5.99 each. This is a great deal for a full meal, even though the menu reflects as half a sandwich and half a salad. You just can't beat this price. It's affordable as compared to eating at fast food chains. The mix and match deal offers either get a sandwich with a salad or with soup. Total pricing comes to about $15 plus without a drink. I am good with free water. LOL! The interior is nice and clean and comfortable. I enjoyed my meal and it was a pleasant. read more

I've never had a problem ordering from Panera , whether at the drive through or inside. The service is always friendly and quick. The coffee and pastries are good -- it's a dependable place to go, drink coffee, eat some pastries, talk with friends. read more

This is a very clean and well run Panera. The staff was very courteous. The food was as ordered and good. We left happy and full.

I've eaten at a few Panera restaurants, but never this one, except for it's pastries. They are okay, but I was served a very stale pastry one time. Like maybe one from the previous day's morning offering! Anyway, the food in the other restaurants were subpar to say the least. And the prices are high. My brother describes Panera as a restaurant with poor food, and high prices. Pretty spot-on. I don't get the popularity? As far as service at this specific restaurant, the staff are excellent and accommodating. A young, eager crowd. Always willing to help. The restaurant is always clean and stocked. It has a good manager; just upper management needs to change their menu, drastically. But, if it's working, why fix it. Lot of people don't know any better! read more

The service here is top notch. My DoorDash guy messed up the order so me and my girls had to drive 18 min to this location, I was panicking bc I had already waited an hour for this guy and my food for the girls. I called the manager I think his name was Zachary, and they told us we could come in past closing to pick it up. They were all extremely friendly and I really appreciated the hospitality here. I work in a restaurant and understand how hard these people work. The food was so worth it. So thank you again Panera!! read more

Panera is a solid spot to have a quick meal during a busy day of running errands. The food is always perfect and it doesn't make you feel like you're heavy after you're done. Today I got the chipotle avacado chicken sandwich with a chocolate chip cookie and chips. Originally wanted the candy cookie but they were out - the chocolate chip cookie was a great backup; it was chewy, crunchy, and melted in my mouth. Also, this place has wifi so if you want to get some work done this is a great place to do it. The building is interestingly laid out and the staff are amazing at coming around asking how the food is, how we are doing, and take our trays back. Will be back the next time I have a full day of errands to do. read more

These guys were absolutely SLAMMED the other day. I'm talking the first fall-feeling Sunday, so everyone and their brother was there, in the drive thru, or ordering online. Though things were running behind, the staff was really working into overdrive, and were so attentive to who had been waiting too long, etc. They offered us free cookies and drink size upgrades for the wait. Took my mom out for lunch today at Panera. We've come here for a couple years now, and normally have a good meal. Today seemed to be the exception. Soup was luke warm and bland, and despite it being the chicken with wild rice soup, it seemed to be missing the chicken entirely. The cranberry chicken salad sandwich was also lack luster and had a very odd consistency - the interior of the sandwich was an overly round blob of something that tasted like it had been pureed in a blender, sitting awkwardly on the bread like it didn't deserve to be there. A $29 meal that included a cup of soup and half sandwich and a bowl of soup that was barely half full. I think most of it saw the garbage after just a few bites. Hard to realize we were so distracted by the terrible food that we didn't have time to enjoy our mother daughter lunch today. Knowing my mother's mental state has been declining over the past few years, spending quality time together is important. Another major reason I won't be coming back to Panera again. Save your time and money & find a better place to eat out. read more

I never been to Panera, so I tried it today. I ordered the buffalo chicken baggette Which comes with cheese, chicken, tomatoes, and buffalo sauce and i held the tomatos There was only a tiny bit of chicken on the whole thing and it was all bread and I paid $12 for it with tax. It was the saddest little thing I ever seen In hindsight, I should've taking it back and showed it to them but I didn't so I probably won't be going back. Out of a ton of ingredients.. including all chips. Order wasn't ready at the pick up time so I sat in the parking lot for 20 min (literally- not exaggerating) waiting for it which I wasn't planning for hence using the rapid pickup. Apparently it's not so rapid. Panera used to be great but it seems like they all pretty much suck these days. Wouldn't be surprised if they're out of bread and salad by 5pm. If you order for a certain time make sure you show up 20 min after your pickup time. Edited to add that I just got home and my foods made wrong and the lettuce is wilted. So now one star. read more

Their service is absolute crap so I got off for lunch and I was in dirty clothes I stood at the counter for a solid 8 min waiting for someone to walk up to me so I can order and no one came up I saw 3 people on their phones standing and talking to each other I got annoyed of waiting so I went to self check out I had trouble with it and was confused on how to use it after I ordered my food I stood their for another 5-10 min waiting for someone to announce that my food was ready and no one did in the end I had to figure everything out my self I do not recommend this restaurant it is absolutely trash I would get treated beter in McDonalds read more

If zero was a score that is what they would be getting. My mother and I went here this morning for a bagel and cream cheese and coffee. They had no Bagels. What a joke. The place was empty, just the 2 of us. The lady behind the counter was very nice and offered a cookie I didn't go there for a cookie or I would have ordered 1. You take time out of your day to stop for breakfast and they don't have any that's a waste of my time Mom said the coffee was cold. The service was as slow as I have ever seen. I don't go to Panera much but the few times I've had are never really good. Today for example if ordered my meal in the drive through and was given an online order at the window, not even my meal. Then I call them to let them know and they say to come back. I get back there and after waiting in line for 20 minutes I get my correct order. Now is when it really goes down hill. 1st they took back the meal they gave me that was wrong and it doesn't sound like a big deal but I have worked in many different food companies and a rule is to NEVER take food back through the window that you have passed out, because it's gross to then resell that food that someone else touched which is what they did!! 2nd my sandwich was never remade I got the same sandwich from 30 minutes earlier when they messed up, so it was SO SOGGY it's was disgusting. I love love Panera Bread and I highly recommend Panera Bread!! This place uses the freshest, yummiest ingredients!! The employees are always very kind as well!! They offer a great selection of soups, salads, sandwiches, pastas, bakery items, shakes, teas etc. All the baked items taste as if they were just baked. All the veggies are so fresh, as if they were just picked fresh out of a beautiful garden. Panera Bread has such yummy food, you don't even realize how healthy and good it is for you too. read more

My first time in, it was as good as I had heard. Their salads were fresh and tasty. Really liked the ambiance. If you are looking for something quick thats not deep fried fast food, this is for you. A good selection of soup, sandwichs and salads. They prove that healthy food can taste good. And a nice selection of baked items for desert. Update: Panera gave me a MyPanera member card, promised all kinds of things if I joined. Tried 3 times, it keeps telling me invalid card number. I entered it correctly, no mistakes. I love the fact that Panera offers something other than a burger or a taco & they have great bakery treats. However their service tends to be crappy from time to time. They're out of items often. This time I did curbside pick up & waited in my car for 20 minutes after the "ready" time the e-mail stated. I called the restaurant to see if they were still doing curbside pick up because maybe I had missed something? It rang & rang & no one answered. I hung up & decided to go in. As I walked up to the registers an employee was loading my order onto a cart. I don't know how long it sat there for & there wasn't much meat on the sandwich I ordered. Although I am a fan of their food, I find their prices to be very expensive for what you are getting. With that being said, I really enjoy their tomato soup. It's creamy and flavorful. Most of their sandwiches are tasty and I like how with your meals you always get a side of crusty bread! They have a lot of great options on their menu to choose from. The food here is always delicious and fresh however; word to the wise, mobile orders are rarely fulfilled accurately or fully. You are better off going in to the establishment and seeing what is actually physically available. Our past three mobile orders have been incomplete or incorrect upon pickup with no attempt to contact us to go over possible substitutions. The staff doesn't seem to be very well versed in how to resolve incomplete orders. read more

This was not our first option for dinner last night and as it turns out it should not have been an option at all. They were not able to fulfill the simplest Grilled Cheese sandwich which was my wife's first option then after deciding we waited 20 minutes for a bowl of soup, a tuna salad sandwich, a salad and a bowl of Mac and Cheese. The difficult part of this order was apparently the M&C because when I went back to the pickup counter the soup, sandwich and salad were sitting there on the counter. Not only that but the greasy, dirty food delivery guy that found it necessary to reach directly over my meal added a great deal of atmosphere to our meal. Do yourselves a huge favor and opt for one of the more reasonably priced sandwich shops rather than taking your chances at this establishment. read more
