This is a pretty big Panera restaurant. And it seems to be a pretty popular spot for lunch! The lines here can get kind of long, but the employees do a pretty good job of moving it along. The food here is good. I got their lunch special with Frontega Chicken Panini with smoked & pulled white meat chicken, mozzarella, tomatoes, red onions, chopped basil & chipotle mayonnaise on focaccia bread and the Chicken Noodle Soup with home-style egg noodles, diced carrot and chunks of chicken in chicken broth. Yesterday, I was at this location to meet with several people. Not only did I have a yummy meal while I sat next to the fire, both managers could not have been any more professional or hospitable to me and my guests. On other occasions, I have met with my guests at other local venues. Yesterday, many were so excited to meet at this Panera. They said it was convenient to I-95 and offered them a snack or dinner option as they met with me. Panera Stafford for the win! Staff is very friendly and food is always delicious, however, every time I order a salad the dressing containers barely ever have any dressing in them. The first time i thought perhaps it was just a mistake, but I think this is a common issue at this location because it's happened at least three times. Very disappointed. read more

Terrible curb side service, if anything is wrong your order, there is absolutely no way of getting anyone's attention. If you call the number, no-one answers, if you don't have a mask because you ordered curb side and didn't expect to have to go in, there is no way to get anyone's attention. I did have a delicious sandwich today but usually I'll stop in here for soup, they absolutely have the best soups in town. The service at this particular location is absolutely amazing. There was a young lady manager here running around to make sure everything is perfect and you could tell how hard she was working to make sure everybody was taken care of. This location of Panera is the first I've seen of the renovated ones and it looks amazing! The design is very industrial and clean looking. Panera's customer service in my opinion has always been above most chains and it's even better at this location. They have a great customizable menu which makes it easy for someone like me (that only eats halal) to make just about anything into what I want or what I can eat. I used to love this place when it first opened and now it's just MEH. Their food menu is always changing and they're coming up with better items here and there but I'm just not a fan. I feel like everything tastes so healthy in a not so healthy way, if that makes sense? In other words, I guess what I'm trying to say is that a piece of cardboard would probably taste better than some of the items on their menu. Convenient lunch spot when you're in a rush or need a place to work while eating. I arrived during lunch time and it was really crowded. The tables were left dirty after people finished eating. Employees are very nice and accommodating. I ordered the you pick two, turkey bravo and turkey chili. The turkey chili was really good as it came out hot- a good savory soup. I called the manager, and she was indifferent about the situation, to say nothing of us having to drive another 18 miles round trip to pick up the missing items. Talking to us in a attitude that we have to order our drinks with our food and that we have to pay for the drinks. I'm sorry do you want to see our other receipt for our payed drinks? He didn't even apologize when he made that assumption and I responded back with I bought food my sibling bought our drinks. Thank you very much. Absolutely great service, food, and atmosphere! Best Panera I've been to, and definitely a great place to stop if you're traveling on I-95 and need food that's fast AND healthy. Having never been to this Panera before, we were a bit confused on how things worked as it is different from our on Panera. Upon noticing our confusing, an employee named Molly helped us find the drink station and brought our food to us (which we've never seen at Panera before!). Absolutely the best Panera I've been to. I travel often and like to hit the drive through locations. Unfortunately this location doesn't have one but I promise you the quality and customer service is worth stopping in! The lines move fast and food is always correct and hot! I visit the Fredericksburg, Spotslyvannia* and Woodbridge location and there's no comparison. At those locations I get hard bread, or watered down soup. It just doesn't seem like those places take the time to make sure the customer is happy. The next nearest location that can compare is lake ridge. Why is it that Panera REFUSES to make their food correctly when you order online and dine out? I eat at Panera regularly because of the clean eating they promote. However, I am so tired of feeling like I need to dine in to get my food prepared correctly. Today is just another example of POORLY prepared food. Frontega chicken ordered with no tomato. I didn't ask for the chopped basil to be excluded. My half salad has HALF a cop of green goddess dressing. We have called multiple times when we order out and informed the store about ill-prepared food time and time again. No...I don't want a free anything next time. I ordered a chicken Caesar salad, to go, from this location yesterday and it had no Caesar dressing included. I did not notice this until I got home. This was very disappointing, but when I called to notify the location of this the lady I spoke with on the phone was very understanding. I wanted to see if I could bring it by to get the dressing, but she said they'll just redo the order for me. When I went back to the location the manager offered me additional food at no charge for my trouble! On a Monday morning (9:30am) staff can't handle breakfast. I submitted two orders, one dine-in and one to-go. The specialty coffee was nasty and pure milk upon request to have a new one made they gave me the same cup of warmer milk. The egg sandwich was cold from sitting on the counter. By the way the place was out of scrambled eggs on Monday at 9am!! And the sandwiches that included they still charged you for it and did not offer substitute. The second to-go order was the same.Waiting for half the order that includes two parfaits. I asked one of the workers behind the kitchen counter for the reminder of the order and she asked another person to grab it for her. To this I got cursed at and even other customer heard the person explicit and vulgar vocabulary. I was instructed to walk to the front counter and grab the two parfaits. Ha! Looks like someone just dumped the bread in plastic and it lands where it lands. When I spoke to the person they didn't offer to correct it, refund me the amount if I decide not to take it, or choose another bread. NO MORE. 3x and I am out. Don't do it. Ordinarily, the food is good and the service is well done for the style of the eatery. But the delivery service and quality check of the orders are lacking. I recently ordered a meal that was missing an entree item and calls to the store went unanswered. Emails to the Panera Customer Care email (paneracustomercare@panerabread.com) are ineffective as other than the canned response of "thank you for your email" it's useless. Follow up emails are ignored. Going to the store in person is not an option for me, so I guess I'm out of luck on that score. read more

I'm a vegetarian and dig that they have options for me. What I don't dig is ordering a vegetarian black bean soup and finding chicken pieces in it after a few bites. I'm glad I was taking care to blow because it was hot which allowed me to notice. This was NOT okay. I found a manager to let him know what happened and how bad that could be if I had eaten it or anyone else. He was very dismissive and barely stopped what he was doing to listen to me. Ok, I've been going to Panera for years. Is always been generally good but recently things have gone downhill. I have noticed a big decrease in the amount of food they are giving with higher prices. I ordered the Asiago beef sandwich and what came was a hard roll, a slice of cheese, and 2 small scraps of meat. When I asked the cooks about it, they held up a handful of meat and offered to give to me so I could put it on my sandwich. No offer for a remake. Second, the place was just dirty. Panera has pushed to get self service kiosks in this store but seem to have forgotten to have someone wipe down the tables. Not following the logic here . Lastly, this Paerna used to have two small casual seats by the fireplace which were nice if you wanted some time to read a book or paper and enjoy coffee or a pastry. Nope, now gone. The manager said they got rid of the chairs to move a displaced table that was a casualty of new self-serve kiosks. Again: technology for the sake of comfort and cleanliness Sorry guys, just not worth the cost. If you want to go have a good cup of coffee, enjoy free wifi, and have better food, go to Peets Coffee (Coffee and More) on Rte 1 between Stafford and Quantico. read more

I always get the same item, ordered the same way and Consistently when I order from this location my order is always incorrect. The cashier named Gideon there showed amazing knowledge of the products being sold at this location, and also informed me of the special deals offered such as the 99 cent pastries. He was very respectful, friendly and polite to not only me, but the customers in front of me. He is a spectacular example of how a company should represent itself. Visit on 7/14/2021 at 9:30 am: Great counter service - fast, friendly, accurate and answered multiple questions happily. Food delivery was quick, and modifications for my eating restrictions were made happily and accurately. I tried the chipotle chicken wrap and multi grain bagel and egg sandwich. The wrap was a bit spicy for my taste, but otherwise these dishes are fantastic. The ingredients are fresh and the flavor just crushes similar burritos at comparable price points. Panera can be expensive, but I've rarely had a bad experience at this one, and today's visit was particularly pleasant. Come support this great place! read more

I was having a rough day and decided to get a bite to eat so I choose to dine at Panera bread and figured I'll dine in because "why not?" Best choice. The staff is super friendly, respectful, attentive and helpful it switched my mood. The food is always delicious at any Panera bread you go to of course but the staff at stafford market place will serve you more than just your food. Attitude really is contagious. Thank you. Something as simple as giving me my fruit cup as I wait on my meal and the overall sense of urgency to cater to the guests needs is very refreshing. All three of the employees I spoke to had a positive aura and I appreciate that in the service industry.
