Probably the best Buffalo Chicken Pizza I have ever had and their everyday BOGO deal they offer doesn't hurt either. Great Value!

Scafa's Italian Restaurant - Fried pepperoni with ranch

As…read moreyou walked in, the kitchen is on the right, host/cashier is in the center and dining area is on the left side. The menu is quite large with a variety of selections from appetizers, salads, soups, pizzas, pasta, subs, calzones and desserts. I ordered 5 items: 1) Fried Pepperoni 2) Caprese Antipasto 3) Italian Deli 4) White Pizza 5) Tiramisu. The caprese antipasto served with tomatoes topped with fresh mozzarella, olive oil, fresh basil and olives. It was refreshing and a little bland. Surprisingly when the fried pepperoni arrived to the table, it wasn't battered but straight up pepperoni served with a ramekin of ranch. For me, it was just too salty so I combine the caprese with the fried pepperoni and together it made it the perfect bite. There were 15 varieties of subs so I chose their Italian deli which is packed with ham, cappacola, salami, provolone, shredded lettuce, tomatoes, sliced onions, Italian dressing and toasted bread. You had a choice of having it served cold or hot. When I took that first bite, I wasn't able to put it down. The bread was soft, fluffy, thin, glad I had it toasted and the combination of all ingredients was on point. I'll definitely order this one again. I ordered their small white pizza, topped with tomatoes, garlic, herbs and white cheese. What made it very delicious was the under carriage and the crust. It was light, airy and crispy. For dessert, 8 varieties so I order their tiramisu. It was creamy, smooth and tasty. The restaurant was clean, can hold large party up to 30-40 people, some decor throughout dining area, there's two types of pizza ovens, and the service was fast and efficient. I had immaculate service from server Kaylyn. She was friendly, genuine, attentive and very knowledgeable. I would definitely make a return visit to try other items on their menu.

The space is rather small: long pizza counter with two two-person tables inside and restrooms off to the side. There's also a small table outside, which we took advantage of. The pizza shop's website says pizzas take up to 36 minutes. PRO TIP: place an online order ahead of time so your pizza is ready when you arrive. We waited tops 5 minutes for our pizza and I'm so glad we did it this way. We opted for the 14'' pizza and added pepperoni, sausage, and onions. I'm not big on sausage but I really liked it because it was loose and not big, chunky pieces. I wish they would've added more pepperoni, and I would've liked the onions julienned (more typical for pizzas) instead of diced. The tomato sauce was really good and the crust was not overdone. My only (and main complaint) is that the pizza was really salty. I think it was the cheese... don't know why but it definitely wasn't the sauce. Ymmas pizza can also be ordered through Sammy T's (their sister restaurant next door) certainly days a week, so check out their website as that's a nice option. Overall, very glad I tried Ymmas. Next time I might just go for a 10'' personal pizza.

I do like that they have the menu on the wall. There are only two tables for two people each inside. These prices are high for Fredericksburg but we're still trying it. The pizza was very good. The crust was buttery almost like Royal Caribbean pizza crust off the Promenade and a little crispier than an Uno's pizza crust. The sauce seems like they actually use some seasoning not just something out of a can dumped on the table. So they have a step up on Fredericksburg there because most of the places just use some kind of plain sauce that has no seasoning. The cheese is a nice blend. Seems like maybe a blend of four or five cheeses and it is very thick on the pizza which is nice since most places seem to scatter the cheese so thin. Yep you pay a little more here but you feel a little more full on a little less size of pizza. So don't be scared to order the smaller Pizza.
