    Tough, stale bagel.....,

At 11am on Sunday morning, this place had 4 bagels, was completely out of breakfast soufflés and we had only 3 minutes to order a small bowl of oatmeal. My bagel, one of the remaining 4, was supposed to be toasted, it was stale and tough. Not toasted well enough to be even warm. Do the owners and staff understand after church patrons? People who brunch on Sunday could use a selection of fresh pastries, bagels and soufflés. Tables were clean but understandably empty.

I am, quite literally, the most disgusted I have ever been in my life. I came to this Panera location with a friend for lunch today. I ordered a cookie with my food to bring home for later. There is a significantly sized hair in baked into this cookie. I only saw it from the inside of the package when I was about to eat it. I am so upset, disappointed and grossed out. Things happen, but I promise someone wouldn't miss this if they paid attention to the food they packaged for customers. The service was also very cold. I ordered a drink and was treated with annoyance as Panera removed self-serve cups. Do better guys. Last time I ever do business here.

Ordered lunch for myself, my wife and a counter part of mine to go. They forgot a whole entire sandwich order and the attached picture is what the lettuce looked like. Very disappointing.

My son loves the Fuji apple salads and caramel frozen coffees! It's pricy but delicious.

Absolutely not worth the price. Four people bought soup, one fountain drink for nearly $50!!! Soup was ok but small servings!!

Food and service are usually good if a little pricey. It's normally quiet and you can sit outside for a decent view.

While traveling in northern Kentucky, he stumbled upon one of these places, The Farmstand Market & Cafe. Farmstand offers comfort food with a farm-to-table focus served in a cozy space with a bar and attached market. We started with the Goetta Hanky Panky Dip. This was made with cheesy goetta, bagel chips, pumpernickel bread, and light rye served in a cast iron skillet. The dip had a good sausage flavor with salt and some light spice while being cheesy, creamy, and full of flavor. The bagel chips were very crispy but were not served warm. The pumpernickel and rye were dry. Each complimented the dip, adding texture to the bite. My wife had the Reuben Sandwich. This sandwich came with sliced corned beef, homemade Thousand Island, pickled pig sauerkraut, and Swiss cheese on light rye with bacon ranch pasta salad. The pasta salad was cooked spot on while also being creamy. The bacon added crunch and saltiness to the salad. The rye had a great toast, and the Thousand Island was tangy and creamy. The pastrami was dry but had a good salty flavor. The sauerkraut was crunchy and had a good sour flavor cutting through the salty meat and the sweet dressing. The cheese was gooey and nutty and added flavor to each bite. I sampled the French dip sandwich and Mulligatawny soup. This was prepared with a sliced top round with provolone on a French roll. The soup was prepared with rice, chicken, carrots, onions, celery, lentils and spices. The chicken was very tender, the rice was cooked well, and the vegetables added texture to the rice. The soup was flavorful, had a wonderful aroma, and had a good salt content. The top round was thin and offered good flavor and chew. The roll was fresh and had a good chew paired with the ooey and gooey cheese with an excellent buttery flavor. The au jus had good flavor but was slightly salty, which overpowered it. Farmstand offers grilled cheeses, hot sandwiches, burgers, salads, appetizers, soups and main entrees. They also serve beer and have a full bar. The servers were pleasant and knowledgeable. The Fat Man says that The Farmstand Market & Cafe is Fat Man Approved with 1 chin.

It is located in a Kroger strip mall area but is slightly higher class than what one might think when they hear that. It was a weird off-peak time so it was no issue getting seated right away and service was pretty good. We started our late lunch and our vacation with a cocktail, both of which were pretty tasty! I wanted to make sure I got some veggies in me before a week+ of vacation eating, so I got a side salad, which was pretty ample for a side! I also got the mushroom ricotta dip appetizer as a "meal" and it was pretty delicious! Cheese, mushrooms and carbs...you can't go wrong with that in my opinion! We had an okay time, and we were able to dawdle and not be rushed. It wasn't our first choice on the day and likely wouldn't be at another time, but it was more than decent as a secondary/back-up choice for a place to eat.

The restaurant was clean and modern and had a great menu selection. The kids meals are $8 and come with a drink and side. I liked that they were really food just kids size versions. We had the sliders and chicken and waffles. On the adult menu we tried the cod dinner, hot honey chicken sandwich and pretzels and beer cheese. They also had a great selection of desserts.

We also ordered gluten-free Pad Thai; it was lacking a lot of flavor. The service, though, was excellent! They were very friendly and accommodating and are super nice people. I really wanted to give the restaurant more than three stars just for that, but people go to restaurants mainly for food. I would say to those who are familiar with Thai food and who eat gluten-free, that this is not the place for you. We eat a lot of Thai, and most menus are almost entirely gluten-free, but this place only had a small selection of gluten-free items. Surprisingly, none of the curries were gluten-free. And sadly, it didn't taste very good. The restaurant was moderately sized with an adequate amount of seating and definitely very casual. We had a larger group and they were able to rearrange seating for us so that we could be together.
