Ordered from the online Panera app what I thought was my food was delivered to my door it was Buffalo Wild Wings called the store to let them know of the issue had me on hold for 20 mins after I hung up I kept calling back they kept dodging my phone call to the point I had to leave my sick siblings and drive up to the store. The manager was so nasty as far as customer service the right thing would've been refunding me my money for my whole order including the delivery fee which they refuse to do but also give me my order due to inconveniencing me for having to come out of my house. read more

It's Panera. It's in the neighborhood. The food is delicious and the prices are low. The service is laughable. Just go in prepared. Ask the employee at the register to repeat your order. It'll still be wrong when it comes out. Ask them to fix it and they will. There is no point getting angry. Does one shout at the moon for not being bright enough? Probably just the worst from a management and execution perspective. Food is standard Panera but just can not seem to be customer focused. I pre ordered a bakers dozen, box of Coffee. Even went through the effort to tell them which ones I wanted. So show up, coffee not ready, wait 10 minutes. Bagels in a stapled bag. Get to office, last nights bagels and not the ones I picked. So..... benefit of the doubt. Second attempt. Go to order10 sandwich's. 10, not 1000. Did not even ask which ones I wanted before telling me they would not take such a huge order. Time? Yes it was 11:10 am. Supposedly their district manager told the lady that those need to be night before so some other store can make them. They apparently can only do small volumes. That was not really defined. So, upside, the 20 new folks that were waiting to be introduced to the local food scene were able to enjoy the sub shop Di....... just around the corner. The drive through employee acts like it is a burden to take your order. The drinks don't have enough ice and the sandwiches are slopped together. I tried them twice thinking the first time must have been just a mistake. Got the same crappy service the second time but with different employees. Sandwich was still just thrown together. Tied to get them to add the order to my loyalty account and they said I would have to go to the website. Asked to speak to a manger and she provided no help. It was a terrible experience. Another ten minutes and I got the sandwich in a bag and took it home, a new offering of Chipotle chicken with avocado, tomato and lettuce on a sprouted grain roll. Very disappointed with the help when calling Richmond and Macedonia for delivery to Bedford 44146. This is an office and supposedly out of range when there are at least 4 Panera's in close proximity. Very slow in the morning time. I placed an order online but it said that it wouldn't be ready until 4pm. Went in to correct it and that was fine. Panera bread is pretty much the Starbucks of the sandwich market. It appears to be a healthier alternative, but I'm not entirely sure it's true. I've been here on separate occasions for breakfast and lunch. The sandwiches are pretty small for the price, and are simply too average tasting to warrant me coming back any time soon. The oatmeal was really bland and needs a ton of extra sugar to make it worthwhile. Not sure if its just me but I really hoped they had the option of using milk instead of water as it makes it taste so much better, but was disappointed to see it wasn't there. Anyway, Panera is definitely a meh, and doesn't really live up to its hype. read more

I had terrible service at this Panera. I ordered curbside and after 10 minutes of not receiving my food, I called the store and told I was told it was rapid pickup. Then was told that it was just being made. Strange bc the receipt showed that it was curbside and was supposed to be ready over ten minutes prior. The sandwiches were cold and terribly made with minimal chicken and sauce. The frontega is a favorite of mine and this location ruined it. I threw over half away which was just bread really. I have been to numerous Panera Breads and the service is normally great but the experience I had at this location was unprofessional. I simply and clearly ordered an Iced Caffe Latte with light ice and a shot of vanilla syrup and the lady looked at me like I was dumb and tried adding an extra shot of espresso but I had to correct her. As I picked up my drink I noticed that the cup was filled up with ice, without making a big deal I just asked for a spoon so that I can remove some ice myself so that my drink doesn't water down. As I asked the gentleman for a spoon he gave me a similar look as the lady who took my order and just tossed the spoon on the counter and said, "Here homie". Very clean and warm atmosphere. There are always busy but I still got my food fast and it was made right even with my special requests. This is the worst Panera bread I've ever been to. Not only did it take forever for us to get our order but it honestly they forgot about half of the order. I ordered a Baja chicken bowl, pecan twist pastry and a decaf coffee with expresso and almond milk. They bowl was horribly put together with dry hard and cold rice, huge chunks of avocado and NO chicken! I instantly asked for my money back. There was no I'm sorry or nothing from the staff. The manager I could tell had an attitude that I wanted my money back and not for it to be remade. I got my cash back and left hadn't taken the time to try the pastry or coffee till I got back in my car.....that was a mistake The pecan pastry was hard, overcooked and stale tasting. The coffee was weak (even after the added expresso shot) and COLD!! WTF how did they manage that? After 2 bites and 3 sips everything was thrown away. I wish I could give zero stars but I will never be back! Never! P.S. after leaving I looked up the menu and realized they gave me a Baja combining ingredients that you'd normally get with the Mediterranean bowl. Truly sad. I went to the Panera at Harvard Park last night to meet a friend for dinner. It was my first trip to eat in a restaurant since the pandemic. I didn't feel that the staff was adhering to all of the guidelines they should have been. There was one small Purell dispenser at the door, with no other ones in the restaurant. The person who took my order did wear a mask but no gloves. She handed me a cup for water without gloves or using a hand sanitizer. Most disgusting was seeing a delivery driver, in the middle of the restaurant, pull down his mask to sneeze in the air, and put the mask back on. He then used a napkin to wipe his nose through the mask, and then picked up his delivery bag. No hand sanitizer was used. I did not see tables being wiped down. I did not feel that my safety was their priority. I won't be eating food from this Panera again, pandemic or not. Totally gross. read more

This is a candidate for 'Worst Panera Ever'. Now, the food is fine (mostly). It *is* Panera, after all. But I'm judging this location by its own standard...answering the question: "Does this restaurant excel at what it attempts to do?" The answer is a resounding "no". There are two main problems here: First, quality of service. Ninety-five percent of the staff at this location act as if they wish you would just leave them alone. They speak in barely audible tones; when you stand at the register, they do not greet you, rather, they stare at you and wait for you to place your order. Behind the counter, there always seems to be some sort of crisis--people are running everywhere, they're always out of something, everyone seems a little confused. Second, quality of food. Again, this is Panera, so this is a minimum level of quality you can expect. However, the manner in which the staff slaps the meals together leaves much to be desired. Expect to get spilled soup, sloppy, tipped-over sandwiches, wet napkins, apples with bruises...the list goes on. It's slack, and not up to the standards of other Panera locations. I eat at this location solely because it is near my office. So, good job to Panera's corporate real estate department for selecting this site. However, given my choice, I would eat at *any* other Panera in Northeast Ohio before this one. I really hope they improve their game--this location is an embarrassment to the franchise. read more

I like Panera a lot, and the experience and food is usually pretty good. This visit (this location) was just ok. I met friends for a committee meeting at 6:30 on a Thursday night. There were 2 cashiers and an impossibly long line and absolutely NO sense of urgency. When I finally reached the register, I placed my order for "pick 2", chicken cobb salad and chicken noodle soup. I stepped down to wait for my order, which I watched the workers sloppily prepare. I asked for butter for my baguette and the food prep person, pointed me to the condiment station....there was no butter, nor an empty container for it:-(. I didn't bother to ask again. I sat down to eat my meal, and the outside of the soup bowl was messy and wet, not because it was filled to overflowing, but because it had been dumped in the bowl. The salad was not at all appealing to the eye. Instead of slices of avocado, I had two big messy, mushy scoops and 2 large pieces of boiled egg, placed on top. This location could definitely use some more training and oversight. read more

This is the worst Panera I've ever encountered. I ordered macaroni and cheese for delivery and clocked out for my break at work when it arrived. When I opened it up, the noodles didn't even look like noodles and they were all congealed together like a ball. I couldn't eat it because it looked inedible and will now be spending the rest of the night at work hungry because I didn't have time to get something different. When I called Panera they offered a new Mac n cheese but when I told them I didn't want it and would prefer a refund, they said I could come in and get a new one in the next 30 days. They were rigid, rude, completely unaccommodating when my 7 yr old asked for a splash of tomato soup on her Mac and cheese. 1st they said their policy didn't allow mixing soups.
