    Iced Caramel Latte

Ordered iced lattes and they were absolutely disgusting! It was iced milk with a splash of coffee. Will never return to that location

Brand new location. SERVICE - friendly staff that greets you when you walk in. Great about answering menu questions and patient to not rush indecisive clients. Offered a free cookie too which was super sweet! Not a long wait for food. I ordered to go but upon pick up I changed my mind to sit in and eat and the staff, especially Todd was so great to bring me plates for the food. FOOD - good ol classic yummy panera food. I always get the Mac and cheese and a mango smoothie. I've had the salads and sanwiches which are great. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. INSIDE - I went at peak lunch hour on a Saturday but it wasn't overly crowded. There's the order station at the main entrance and the pick up station is past the seating area COVID - inside seating isn't spaced out but it's not crowded so people can just space themselves out. Mask required unless seated and eating. Looks like there's an outside patio too but it isn't set up yet. Plenty of parking. Good bathrooms.

I usually like everything there, but don't waste your money on the stacked Mac n cheese. Not worth it.

I know I just found my little favorite gem of Fair Lawn especially if it's one of those cold winter…read moreor fall days when all you really want is a nice bowl of soup. Well, Soup Maison and Latin Kitchen makes soup an everyday food! There's always the favorite tomato bisque or tomato tortellini soup but with a rotating menu of different soups and other dishes plus a deli and empanadas, you really can't go wrong and it can be different every time you go. My new favorite is the tomato tortellini soup paired with one of their empanadas. I'm a fan of their beef empanada but their buffalo chicken empanada was a great balance of a savory chicken with just the right amount of heat. Try it with the green sauce, it's not for everyone's taste but it's a great mix. The fact that they have many soup options (with samples, if you wish) you can pair it with something or just go for a large and have it all to yourself makes it a place to mix and match on every visit. It's a comfy place, but there's not that much room to dine in, but there's a small table- but I don't mind running back home, get comfy and enjoy the food. Service has always been friendly- don't hesitate to ask for a taste, but let them do it- it's not self serve.

Pho-king delicious…read more It was one of the coldest days of the year and we were craving a comforting bowl of pho (rice noodle soup) to warm ourselves up. We visited Vietnam Pho in Woodland Park, located on Rt 46. It's in a business complex so there's plenty of parking. It's a casual, cozy, and family-owned restaurant with a spacious seating area. The staff is welcoming and attentive. The menu offers all of the Vietnamese classics you're craving - steaming bowls of pho, vermicelli noodles topped with fresh vegetables, crispy banh mi sandwiches, stir-fries, and a variety of grilled meats like lemongrass pork and chicken. And if you're a boba lover, they even have bubble tea. Prices are reasonable, but here's a big tip: You get a 10% discount when you pay with cash. There's an ATM inside. There were a few hits and misses with our order, but overall we left feeling satisfied with our meal. The misses: *Vietnamese Iced Coffee with Condensed Milk ($5.95) - This was much sweeter and thicker than I expected! It tasted more like a dessert drink than an iced coffee. The condensed milk's sweetness overpowered the coffee flavor. I have a big sweet tooth, so I still enjoyed it. But if you're sensitive to sugar, you might want to skip this or ask for less milk. *Fresh Shrimp/Summer Rolls with poached shrimp, vermicelli, & peanut sauce ($7.95) - Not a fan. The rolls were bland and mostly just filled with vermicelli noodles. The peanut sauce was a let down. The flavors were off and it had a watery consistency. It barely tasted like peanuts. I don't know if they used too much vinegar or sugar, but either way... the ingredients were completely unbalanced. Now for the hits... We came for the STAR DISH: PHO! Every order comes with rice noodles, beef broth, white onions, scallions, and cilantro with a side of bean sprouts, lime, basil, and jalapeno peppers. We ordered: *Pork Chop Pho ($16.95) - I absolutely loved the lemongrass marinade (made with lemongrass, fish sauce, brown sugar, soy sauce, & shallots)! The meat was juicy, sweet, and savory. I could tell the chef grilled it perfectly because of the smoky charred edges. *Rare Beef & Well Done Brisket Pho ($14.95 size small) - They did not skimp out on the protein here! The beef cuts were large, tender, and flavorful! The broth was the heart of the pho - aromatic, warm, and rich! The spices (cinnamon, cardamom, star anise, and coriander) made it taste even better. I always enjoy adding hot chili and hoisin sauce for that extra heat and sweetness. The noodles were silky smooth and soaked up all that beefy broth. Yum, yum! And you can't forget about loading up on the garnishes to add a satisfying crunch and more flavor in every slurp! Pho was the perfect comfort food on the coldest day of the year~

I'm honestly not sure what was more impressive to me; the soups or the sandwiches. I guess I'll start with their namesake, the soup. First time I came here I tried the French onion, since what better 'simple' soup to judge a soup place by, right? Excellent, right out of the gate - utterly bursting with caramelized onion flavor, and just a hint of brandy, I believe? I later came back and tried the Thai coconut and "thanksgiving dinner" soups, with each one seriously cramming a ton of flavor into each bite. Never thought I'd be blown away by soup, of all things, but here we are. The sandwiches are just as good as the soups were, and are priced really fairly for the quality and portion you get. Most of their sandwiches are made on their homemade "pesto bread", which may be the moistest, softest bread I've had in years. If you can't decide, they seem to run specials frequently, where you can get a sandwich & cup of soup. The only 'negative' I can think of is that since sandwiches are made to order, it can take ~10-15 mins to get sandwiches and the like, but this isn't a McDonalds, so I feel like that's expected. Besides, your patience is greatly rewarded. Skip the chain food; there's some really inspired, friendly folks here cranking out some of the best stuff in town. Well worth a visit, imo!
