Have been passed and near this location a million times and never tried it until today. Was pleasantly surprised on how nice it was. The staff was hard at work with the walk in orders and drive through. There was staff going around cleaning tables. Bathroom was also clean. They have lots of outside tables for when it's warmer. Enjoyed my sandwich and drink. read more

I used to love this place but noticed everything is just going downhill. They always forget to add a cup for my coffee or drink. The Rapid pickup shelf is useless. My ordered never made it there. The screen is saying it's ready but shelf remained empty. So I have to go to the kitchen counter to follow to ask for it. read more

Panera is an underrated chain in my opinion. Food was served hot and fast. The place was clean and plenty of seats to get work done. The cinnamon roll had a nice crunch to it and soft interior. Panera isn't my first choice since I like supporting local spots but not usually disappointed when I come here. read more

Brand new location. SERVICE - friendly staff that greets you when you walk in. Great about answering menu questions and patient to not rush indecisive clients. Offered a free cookie too which was super sweet! Not a long wait for food. I ordered to go but upon pick up I changed my mind to sit in and eat and the staff, especially Todd was so great to bring me plates for the food. FOOD - good ol classic yummy panera food. I always get the Mac and cheese and a mango smoothie. I've had the salads and sanwiches which are great. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. INSIDE - I went at peak lunch hour on a Saturday but it wasn't overly crowded. There's the order station at the main entrance and the pick up station is past the seating area COVID - inside seating isn't spaced out but it's not crowded so people can just space themselves out. Mask required unless seated and eating. Looks like there's an outside patio too but it isn't set up yet. Plenty of parking. Good bathrooms. read more

I order thru the drive thru with a man named Jose. I gave him a new gift card worth $25.00. According to him he scanned it and told me there were no funds. He then return what I thought it was my card. Drove away and then checked the back of the card to my surprised it was not the card I handed to him. The one I handed had the pin # exposed. I then went back and told him that he made a mistake. He then told me to prove it to the manager that he has given me the wrong card. Apparently he must have pocket my card with 25.00 and gave me a new one. The manager Lilliana gave me a new card with 25.00. I reported the incident to The Panera headquarters for investigation on this scam . Please take a picture of your card the rear before you hand in to anyone. No stars. The food has really gone downhill over the past year, especially for take out. Sloppy, skimpy portions and presentation. On the plus side, staff is very nice and the drink selection is great. Place is pretty clean. Need some updated kitchen practices for a better customer experience. read more

Gone downhill now about three months. First time, thought it was a fluke. "We are out of bread"? Really. Dirty tables, overflowing garbage cans. Looks like it will close in the next few weeks. Wow. We were shocked. In front of my eyes the employees violated one health issue after another. Here are just a few things we noticed employees doing before we requested a refund. 1. Preparing salad with long hair hanging down practically in the salad 2. Carrying food with one gloved hand while texting with an ungloved hand. Then using the ungloved hand to stuff a sandwich in a package 3. Sweeping the floors in the kitchen while food was being prepared. 4. Slamming hot bacon on the counter right where another employee was sweeping 5. Coughing into the air while packing up rolls and pastries I will not go to this place again and probably not go into any other Panera. We were too disgusted to eat the food and lost our appetites. We wanted to return our order. When we asked to speak to the manager to get a refund we were told he was busy!! We chose to wait to let him know what was going on. He eventually came out, apologized and refunded us. He seemed like a nice guy and we felt bad complaining but that place was truly a health hazard. read more

I visited this restaurant on a Sunday, at about 11:30. I was greeted by the manager who said he just got in. Ordered a Mediterranean sandwich for myself and Mac and cheese with broccoli for my friend. My sandwich was fine, not what I expected but fine. But the "Mac and cheese" was really cheese soup. She brought it back to the window and they apologized for bringing her cheese soup - then proceeded to replace it with the Mac and cheese in the photo: cheese soup with some Mac. If it's soup, please call it soup. I will note that every single table was dirty and I couldn't find a rag to clean them so I did it with some napkins. Even burger joints send out someone to clean tables periodically. I'm not giving them one star because my sandwich was ok, but please send someone out to clean the dining area! read more

Brand new location, been here twice and my order has been perfect both times. Love the fact they have a drive-thru and its convenient to my house. The one time I've been inside to pick up my food the staff was friendly and said hello, the place was extremely clean and i had no issues at all. I went to the drive-through and ordered a sandwich and a soup for my girlfriend. While I was trying to place my order at the speaker I heard the workers cursing and laughing in the back. I went up to the window and waited for 10 minutes for my food. I pulled away, and they gave me the wrong sandwich. So I waited for a few more minutes at the window before a worker came and helped me. They were out of bread btw... later that evening I felt very ill, and ended up in the hospital with food poisoning. The staff all wore gloves but obviously were contaminated because they were touching their phones with the same gloves they were serving food in. Such a shame I will NEVER!!! Went to this location around 3:35PM on 8/6/2021. Walked in to place a to go order (mind you I was the only one there at that time trying to order) and there wasn't an employee in sight. No biggie, I figured they maybe in the back working on something. I turn to the right to place my order on the kiosk. Less than 30 seconds later additional customers enter to place an order an now employees are flying from the back to promptly greet the customers and take their orders. As a result of what I took to be utter disrespect based on the fact that I had literally just walked in prior to the other the customers and no one even poked their head out from the back to greet me or see if I needed assistance, I promptly canceled my order on the kiosk and left. I'll still support Panera but my family and I will not return to this location. read more

Every other visit orders made incorrectly. I guess I'm funny that way. When I order a sandwich toasted, I expect them to toast it; especially when they $13 dollars for it. I've had issues basically every other visit there in the last two years. I am polite and always say please and thank you. Today, when I sent back an un-toasted sandwich, it came back nearly the same way. I inquired to the general manager this time; he brought back a nicely toasted sandwich. The conversation then got heavy handed when he said "if this is the way you talked to my staff.." I said "excuse me, I didn't give anyone a hard time...." They messed up a wouldn't admit it. I have been coming to the Hamburg Tpke, Wayne location since it opened. Since than, it has gone down hill. Tables are always sticky as if no one is cleaning. Regarding portions, prices have gone up but you get less for your money. I order a whole size Asian Sesame Salad with Chicken. The bowl was not even half full & only had about 4 slices of chicken. If they are charging over $12 for lettuce, they should at least fill the bowl. Seriously thinking of going to another Panara in the future. read more

It really isn't this particular location's fault. It is the entire concept. A place like Panera cannot truly be a drive-through fast food location. The food takes more time to cook and prepare, and that makes sense. Putting a drive-through in gives you some false sense hat the food will be ready more quickly. It is not. So instead of waiting inside for your food you sit in in absurdly long line of cars making the entire experience unpleasant. read more

Our take out experience tonight from this location was a disappointment. The "chicken" on our salads and sandwiches was still frozen and slightly slimy with a weird consistency. Mac and cheese had a few overcooked noodles nestled in watery cheese sauce. We also got home and realized our order wasn't complete. Although I called and the girl who answered was polite and refunded me for the missing items, I don't think we will return to this location any time soon. read more

I was super excited for the unlimited coffee and excited that this place was close enough to stop before work. It says it opens at 6am. So went there at 7:45 just before work and it's closed. They have the hours on the door but the opening hour is not on there. So canceling the unlimited coffee subscription. Thumbs down. read more

Absolutely appalled by the manager (Becky) at the location I went to tonight on Hamburg Turnpike. Was nowhere to be found while at a very busy time. I waited for close to 15/20 minutes for a Rapid Pick-Up order. The girls behind the counter (Aaliyah, Angelica, Chloe, Diana, and Marija)were breaking their backs and trying their hardest to keep up on their own. I commend them for doing the best they could. The manager there needs to go. If she can't handle the stress of a busy restaurant, then get out. Give these girls a raise and a better manager that can actually get this restaurant functioning. read more

The food is always amazing but for some reason every time I order for rapid pick up it's never on the shelf and I have to ask the people behind the counter where the food for the tables goes out and ask if I can take my bag. Today I got my order confirmation and went it and stood there for 5 minutes not a single person said anything to me. I personally think it's just ridiculous to have the rapid pick up shelves if they never put the food actually on the shelf. I will continue to return because it is so close to work and the food has never been bad but the staff is horrible. read more
