Sheesh! A lot of haters for this particular Panera. As the Duke of this spot, I have been on more than one occasion. Never, have I ever had a bad experience‍. Typically, I order through the app while I'm out and about in the area. They give an approximate time of completion. This is usually very timely. Pull up to curbside and check in. Within a minute or two I'm holding a bag of food! The presentation is great, not just thrown together. Not sure I've ever experienced an error in my order. Fast, consistent, delicious! Recommend for a quick bite on the go! Bon appetite!

Love the drive through! They even gave me a free cookie when I had a little wait for my food.

All shareable, and the presentation is top-notch. We had the Spicy Crab Tostada, Spicy Chicken Wontons, and the Mexican Street Corn "ribs." Each dish was prepared to perfection. The Spicy Crab Tostada, like the wontons, had a light and crispy texture. The Spicy Chicken Wontons were equally delightful. And the Mexican Street Corn "ribs" were a unique treat. They were prepared by quartering the corn cob lengthwise, tossing it in a special sauce, and serving it. The "ribs" effect was that you held the quartered cob pieces and ate the kernels as if you were holding the bones of ribs. Be prepared for a few wet naps after finishing these delicious bites! There are many more enticing dishes to try, and I can't wait for our next visit. As a tribute to the late, great Charlie Daniels (who always ended the musical season at the

On this cool spring visit, we sat inside at a corner table with a nice view of the lake. We ordered: Happy Hour Chicken Tacos ($8) Happy Hour Fish Tacos ($8) Fish & Chips Dinner ($21) Merlot ($9) Cabernet ($11) The tacos are normally $16 for three on the dinner menu, so getting four for that price during Happy Hour is a good deal. Results were mixed. Starting with the positive: the Fish Tacos were excellent. The haddock was perfectly cooked--crispy and flavorful--served in grilled flour tortillas with shredded iceberg lettuce, creamy slaw, pico de gallo, and chipotle lime aioli. Really well done! The Chicken Tacos, on the other hand, were disappointing. The chipotle-braised chicken, along with the toppings, made them feel dense and soggy. Not something I would order again. The Fish & Chips was the biggest letdown. The fried haddock was thin and dry, and the fries were limp and not hot enough. The coleslaw was very good, though. Honestly, if they used the same haddock from the fish tacos here, it would be a big upgrade. Service was good overall, though the dinners took a while to arrive. Bottom line: 3 stars. Still the best restaurant option on the lake, but there's plenty of room for improvement.

It feels like something from a vintage movie. If only they would turn the heat on ... they keep it super cold inside in the winter, so much so that we had to wear our jackets while we ate and deal with runny noses. How much could heat cost? The food here is very average. You won't hate your meal, but you also probably won't love it. The fried rice is bland and you can certainly tell it isn't made fresh as all the ingredients seem to be old and reheated several times. The lunch specials are pretty complicated to order ... you pick your special, then you pick a side from a list and then you pick one other side. Customization is cool ... but it gets confusing. The staff here is very aloof. They are never there when you need them ... they have all the personality of a block of ice ... and seem mildly annoyed if you ask for anything. (extra hot mustard ... a refill on water ... substitutions in your order, etc.) I understand that there is a pretty significant language barrier with most, but it comes across more as rudeness and apathy than a language understanding issue. The best dish I've ever had here was the shrimp in house sauce. Everything else is on par with most Chinese restaurants post-pandemic ... the quality and portion size is down, while the prices are up. It's not bad snack food ... or lunch food ... but I am not sure if I could eat here as a full meal and leave feeling satisfied. In the area, there are not too many choices for Chinese food. There is Yummi in Dudley, which is as bad at is gets lately. There is Empire Wok in Dudley, which is about as clean as a men's room at a Patriots game. And Kahlua in Southbridge which is a bit hood. Overall, this is the spot I'd choose if I was in the Dudley/Southbridge area and looking to grab Chinese food. Shrinkflation is real here.

Either way.... they find new and improved ways to disappoint our delivery service. Quite a few times I have found hair in my food. That should have been it- especially since they promised to send us a gift card, even though they never did. This particular time? They sent us a JOKE of a meal consisting only of a sad, lonely piece of a fish triangle in a lonely, floppy corn tortilla. No cabbage. No condiments. Just a SAD piece of "Baja" fish for $17. The one star is because I couldn't vote zero. And if I had to give ONE redeeming factor, it would be their delicious guacamole. I'll give them that. Wish these were more options in our town! Luckily- the delivery services are starting to offer more

Ceviche tastes fresh, guacamole is fresh, salsa is pretty good (I like a watery salsa), chips pretty good, mixed drinks (Paloma and margaritas) are good enough, chicken tortilla soup is filling. None of this is so good that I would recommend driving 15 minutes + out of your way for, but decent enough. The downside: most of the food is lackluster. Tamales: dry (thank God for the watery salsa); rice and beans: dry, with beans slightly on the flavorless and burnt side; the burritos: vegetables are fresh, but meat always tastes dry (chicken) or slightly flavorless (beef), (thankfully most burritos served with a cheese sauce as well, but the lettuce and tomatoes that are served with it are always cheap and flavorless); enchiladas: one-note, the salty sauce and cheese covers up other flavors ( if there even are any); tacos: forgettable and one-note in flavor (needed guacamole, salsa and hot sauce to provide any depth of flavor); street corn: a complete joke, and covered with a mayonnaise-like condiment containing Sazon. For entertainment, order the street corn! Ask them to split it in two so that it can be for two people. Depending on who the chef or waitress is this could turn into an interesting conversation (about whether corn can be split in two vertically, seriously- the waitress left our table and returned asking if we meant split a cob of corn vertically or horizontally). She then stared in wonderment at us when i said "we just want 2 portions"; i felt like i was making an Abott and Costello bit, when she replied "sooooo, two orders split in half or what do you mean?". I mean one ear of corn cut in half so one person can have one half and another person can have one half. She nodded in amazement, saying that it would be really hard to cut an ear of corn in half but maybe if the chef has a good knife, maybe this amazing half corn could happen. Then it arrives, yes split horizontally in two, she looked very proud. Now, what's supposed to make street corn street corn is that it's grilled and seasoned, then covered in a Mexican crema and cotija cheese topping with lime and onions. Mexicali boils their corn in unsalted water, doesn't usually cut it in half or season it afterwards, leaves the corn probably for the whole shift so that each of the kernels gets really shriveled and dry like an old raisin, then coats it with mayonnaise and sprinkles Sazon on it. It's an entertaining experience, if nothing else. Definitely have an adult beverage- at least those will have flavor and hopefully make the whole experience fun/worthwhile!
