    bacon sandwich no cheese

I have been coming to this location for about 10 years now. From going to Panera early in the morning with my mum to now getting breakfast at least once a week or more. I have noticed they are getting stingy with the bacon, on a normal sandwich with bacon it is three pieces, but don't be fooled.... it's one piece cut in half and than an extra half. I get the same sandwich every single time and since about a year ago i've noticed they put less and less bacon every time and if you ask for extra you get two tiny extra pieces which actually makes it look like a normal proportional sandwich but u have to pay for extra bacon. This use to be my favorite place to go for breakfast but I've been having to go back every time to ask more than two pieces of bacon. If I wanted an egg sandwich i'd ask for it. So sad that this location isn't trying as hard as they use to.

So the Mediterranean veggie sandwich was a major letdown. It had about zero sauce that I requested. The bread was super dried out. It had minimal ingredients. I'm really disappointed. Also, here's a secret. Save some money by doing the regular Greek salad and adding chicken, rather than doing the chicken Greek salad. How dumb is that? The girl at th counter was very nice in telling me this. She was fantastic. Whoever handed me my latte was terrible. She was also apparently a manager.. she was just really rude. This was an expensive disappointment.

Here is our drive thru experience from tonight 9/30/20 "Welcome to uh... *pause* um... Saint... Louis bread company..." First of all do you know where you work? Lol I then proceeded to place my order. Chicken frontera Panini w/ chips & a Pepsi and a green passion smoothie (this is for 2 people) They repeat is back incorrectly. So we correct them... and they say "oh okay got it" We get to the window, first they hand us a Diet Pepsi, so we correct them again... normal Pepsi please. ‍ Then we get this smoothie... for 4.99 I would expect the small size cup to be filled up completely. However there was almost 1/4 missing from the cup. This was going to be my meal for the evening and I was sadly disappointed. So we get home and my husband takes a sip of his "pepsi" and it is indeed Diet Pepsi. *sigh* *smh* ‍ Bread co please step it up. I am sure you have standard recipes to help create the same portion sizes. Also you may want to also touch on the drive thru servers confidence in taking orders & completing them correctly. I get it, we are all human but for the higher prices one can expect better service and correct orders...

The beer cheese was tasty, and the pretzels were soft & salted. I had a bit of guidance with the menu from my waitress who was very attentive. I ordered the flagship tattooed dog, and upgraded my fries to have the carnivore toppings. It came out and WOW. I didn't know how to eat it. I ultimately ate all of the fries to clear up some room to handle the hot dog. Ended up using a knife and fork because i was making a mess. But both the fries and the dog tasted great. My waitress got me a box before i had to ask, and brought me the check. It was a quick, tasty, pleasant experience.

On our most recent experience, things appear to have slipped off. An odd sign in the entry notes that are no longer accepting their previously issued gift certificates (wait, so you took money for these and are no longer honoring them?), but it didn't impact me. The food was where things went south. It took 30 minutes in a half full restaurant. I ordered the namesake Tattooed Dog, as I've had it before. It arrived with onion rings... 4 of them, from medium down to small. The dog was mostly warm (not hot), but withered like it had been cooking for a while. The meat was placed atop chili that was cold... cold enough to rob the warmth from some spots of the dog. The bun was a soggy mess, and none of the cheese was melted, so it couldn't have been under the heat lamp. It looked fanciful when served, but it was very underwhelming eating compared to past experiences. My wife had the chicken wrap, served with French fries. In a day and age when competitors give out fries like they need to clear an overstocked situation, it was a small handful that would normally be found in a Happy Meal from the famous clown. The wrap itself was shy on the chicken, and heavy on the dressing inside. What used to be a nice place, appears to be sliding downhill, as if the kitchen has given up. If they've checked out, so have we.

When you…read morecome into Friendship Brewing, you can order beer from the waitress but you will have to proceed to the back of Friendship Brewing to order your own food. Benefits Bistro is the food service located within Friendship Brewing. My favorite is the Cajun beef which is served on a flatbread. It was not what I expected the first time I ordered it, but, I was pleasantly surprised as it was excellent. It is served with Billy Goat Potato Chips, which is just the perfect combination with a Friendship Kolsch. The Cajun beef is one of those taste that you will remember and crave, requiring you to return to Friendship Brewing and the Bistro to satisfy your hunger. We found Friendship Brewery about six or seven months ago and has been back numerous times since. Everyone who comes here says it is one of their new favorites. The Friendship Brewery has lots of historic beer memorabilia that decorate the old building. A music stage is located on the back of a flatbed truck inside of the restaurant. They also have a very attractive outside dining area. Come to Benefits Bistro and try the Cajun beef or another delectable item, and a fresh brew from Friendship Brewing. Chairs and table was quite wobbly and unstable. My shrimp po boy was ok, shrimp was excellent but bread was dry and crumbly. Though the place was mostly empty, it took 10 minutes to get my beer order, their in house brewed Andrew's ale, and I wasn't much of a fan of this bitter ale. We won't be back.

There wasn't as much to choose from as I expected, but we both found something that we liked. The ambiance is not very warm. It's similar to a typical Chinese fast-food restaurant, with cheap tables and chairs that are pretty close. There are a lot of missed opportunities here to improve the ambiance and feel. What gave me a bad impression immediately was the sticky floor in front of the counters. It gives an unclean impression. To the right of the counter, against the wall, was a machine that looked like it had a large piece of meat hanging in it. Maybe they strip pieces off as needed - I am not sure, but from a customer-facing position, it looks rather odd and unappealing. Our table was extremely wobbly. The food was just OK. We laughed at the "meat locker" and discussed the establishment overall. We agreed that we were glad to have tried it, but will not be back.

It's located next to railroad tracks and embraces the train ambience detailed decor. The dress code is very casual. I was greeted warmly as I entered, and shown to a table. I was pleasantly surprised to not have to wait for a table on a Saturday night, even though they were rather busy. Service was top-notch throughout my visit. And we were even reminded of the "whistle stop" which is when a freight train rolls through unexpectedly and many drinks are half off during that time. It happened once during our 2+ hour visit. This is a barbecue place with many options for carnivores. During Lent season, they have a delicious fish sandwich available. It's really limited options though if you're vegetarian. That may change when they add some Mexican food to the menu soon. I hope. We chose to visit on a night when performer Terrance Wafer was playing. He played known top hits on an acoustic guitar with incredible vocals. We really enjoyed listening to him. I'm already looking forward to returning here.
