I am a faithful customer of the salad bar each week. It is always fully stocked and fresh and the wait staff are all nice and accommodating.

This location has a convenient spot right off the highway and near the mall. They offer daily specials, happy hour, and even rewards through the app. It seemed like a great place to stop. Unfortunately, my first visit here was anything but. After being seated, we ordered drinks, waited, and then ordered food about 10 minutes later. Still had no drinks.. Another 5 minutes passed before our server returned again to say that someone else was supposed to bring our drinks. Even after, the drinks still never arrived. She then asked how the salad bar was, and when I mentioned I wished there were eggs on the salad bar (which were listed on the sign), she simply said they were out and probably wouldn't get more until December or January. The she walked away. I eventually had to go to the bar myself to get our first drink. Over 35 minutes later, our two entrées finally arrived. The server blamed the kitchen for the wait, but the restaurant was nearly empty. Throughout the meal, she disappeared and repeatedly forgot our refills after supposedly going to get them. I had to go ask the hostess at least 2 times just to get drinks. When the refills did come, they arrived one at a time, even after more waiting. The breadsticks were flavorless, so I asked for melted butter for the breadsticks, but what I got instead was butter that looked frozen and crumbled apart. It would not smear or even stick to the knife. It was a strange texture. At that point, I gave up and stopped eating. When the server noticed, I explained the issue. She said she asked the kitchen for melted butter but that's what they gave her. (Basically saying it was the kitchen's fault again) She then walked off and came back only with the bill. Even then, there were problems with her payment device. She commented, "This table has had so many problems tonight," and when I suggested maybe I shouldn't be paying, she responded that she'd "get in trouble with the manager." After the payment she asked if I wanted a receipt , but the payment device didn't have paper so she left to get paper. We had to wait again.... What stood out most was that despite all the issues, we never once saw the manager step in or even acknowledge the problems. I did see him near the bar for a short time; he spent almost the whole time in the kitchen, but he never came to our table. Other guests looked frustrated too, so it's not just us. This location clearly needs better training and leadership. With such poor service, lack of accountability, and no effort to make things right, Sadly, I cannot recommend this location. read more

Ruby Tuesdays is a great place to come if you're getting a salad bar for your meal. This time I opt in to get the Philly cheesesteak sandwich. It was just OK/average nothing too exciting about it. Definitely we'll stick to my salad bar. My dad got a ribeye steak and baked potato and it had a lot of fat on it and not much flavor. Our server was pretty good and attentive. As far as ambience in here. It's just your typical chain restaurant. read more

First off let me just say that I really hate giving bad reviews however, this location is deserving of just that. We ordered online and I was unaware that when you order a salad, from their salad bar, you are to put together yourself. This is more than fine with me (as long as you tell me beforehand) as when I got home with empty containers, I had to go back. Now, I'll admit to my part within the mistake but in my opinion, the establishment should tell you this as this could happen to anyone. Then there's the attitudes of everyone there which was so poor that it was insulting. One of the servers belittled me right in front of some seated customers and I had to restrain myself from confronting her about because looking around that place... Well, you walk in & tell me that it's worth it. No one there is attentive and everyone there is extremely rude which infuriated me to no end. All I can say is at least we used a gift card and didn't spend actual money there. The ambiance was just terrible and this also because the overall experience. Hopefully, other locations are not this bad because it's mind boggling how they have stayed afloat for this long. If I could give it "no stars", I'd do just that. Food was excellent! Talapia and two sides. I was able to substitute steamed broccoli for the rice pilaf and was not given an up-charge. Our waitress, Tracy was excellent. She didn't write anything down but, was able to remember everything we ordered and put them in front of the correct person. Impressive! Only got a picture of the mixed berry lemonade over mango. We came in on Friday. Kids eat free here Tuesdays and Fridays. It is for every paying adult though so keep this in mind. The salad bar is $5.99 more. Sometimes $12.99 depending on the day or specials they have. I don't think it's worth the $12.99 as it's a smaller salad buffet. Great price for $5.99. My grilled salmon was delicious and I got double zucchini instead of rice. B E S T decision. My son loved the tater tots. read more

Went to Ruby Tuesday's on Sunday afternoon for their great salad bar & soups. Found out that they now have a new great happy hour!!! Great to specials and appetizer specials. Our bartender Ethan was phenomenal. He was working the bar and the tables and still managed to take good care of us as well as all of the tables. He was busing and serving. Wow! All of the Ruby Tuesday's in our area of Illinois are closed. We were at a friends house and decided to go to this location for dinner. All down hill from there. The hostess and the waitress were dry. The restaurant was a little tan down and dated looking. We could have dealt with all of that if the food were good. Looking at the menu I was looking for the buffalo chicken sandwich. I got an eye injury that limits the vision in my left eye so I just asked the waitress when I didn't see it. She told me it's no longer on the menu. Ok. However, you have a chicken sandwich and you have Buffalo sauce. Even if it's extra I was willing to pay. No mention of it. So I got the ribs. The menu mentioned a dry rub. Mine came out covered in sauce. I cut into them to find they were burned. Sauce was to mask that. I sent them back. I also sent the French fries back. They were the bottom of the pan slightly cold and smaller. I know because my friend had to wait on fresh ones. My husband's burger was just ok. My friend got the quesadilla tacos with fries for her and my god daughter. They were dry but at least they had fresh French fries. I ended up with the salad bar. When the check came out the ribs were still on it. We had the waitress remove them and add the salad bar. Overall don't waste your time on this one. We could have gotten a burger in a drive thru. read more

The service was terrible. The server never once checked on us or asked us how anything was. She came to our table 3 times: drink order, food order, and bill. After she took our drink order she disappeared for over 15 minutes, finally I flagged her down to ask if we could just start severing ourselves from the salad bar. Our cocktails were insanely sweet with little to no alcohol. The romaine lettuce on the bar was rotten. One steak (ordered medium) came out grey and boiled looking but raw inside. The other steak (ordered medium) came out grey and boiled looking and chewy. We were never offered waters. Our booth rocked like we were on the high seas every time the people behind us moved. My wife and I came in last night and had a good experience. It took our server a little bit to get to our table, but the part we got sat at looked full so we didn't mind the extra few minutes. The server came around and greeted us, she was young and very sweet and took our time with us and was patient with my wife as she can't speak too well and quickly brought our drinks. We got the garden bar, two drinks from the bar and one appetizer and the food was done perfectly! My ribs almost fell off the bone with a shake and my wife was very pleased with her salad. The server came around again a few times to check in and make sure everything was okay but she was preoccupied with bigger tables and seemed to be doing good with them too. Our server was good about cleaning the table with each plate my wife finished and even closed the blinds when it was shining in her face. At the end of the meal I got a yelp review slip so here i am! I decided to try Ruby Tuesday's Mid Rivers for a lunch. The location was great and not hard to find. Seating was speedy and waitress was nice. This was my first time here and it was just ok. I ordered the deconstructed kabobs .my sister ordered the same and a salad bar and my mom got the rib eye and baked potato. It was just ok. Nothing to write home about and I do not have to rush back. The cocktail was of many different options. We settled on the drink of the day . Ruby Relaxer. Not strong enough in my opinion. Lastly I did get the chocolate chip cookie skillet. I was super excited to see Ruby Tuesday was back open. The atmosphere was still family friendly. The menu had lots of options to include the old favorites (missed the Turkey Burger). The quality & quantity is where things changed. I started out with the endless salad bar. The lettuce was welty & brown in areas. I ordered a smash burger. Menu says two patties but I received one cut in half. The manager stated that is how they make it. One patty cut in two with a spatula. Disappointing to say the least. Post Plandemic visit and I'm happy to say it was a pleasant and delicious visit. The restaurant is exceptionally clean and the staff is attentive and courteous. They have the best and probably the only salad bar around and for that reason they rate 5 stars with me, 4 types of lettuce to choose from , loads of fresh veggies and toppings plus various dressing make this great. I had the salad plus. Bourbon glazed chicken with mashed potatoes and zucchini. Chicken was grilled with a flavorful glaze and the portion was large enough for 2 . I'm so glad this restaurant survived and hope you will consider giving them a chance. read more

Husband and I was hungry and we decided to go to Ruby Tuesdays. I have to say I was extremely disappointed service sucked got handed an empty bottle of catch-up. My chicken wings looked like they came from a baby chicken and it was 7 tiny wings $15 for it alone. Offered a refill, but never came back to do that. She was too busy talking to her friends upfront. I may just go to Ruby Tuesday for the pumpernickel croutons on the salad bar. I've been known to leave it with nothing but a plate of croutons. (I also enjoy the other salad ingredients.) RT's dining room is open during COVID and customers are spread out for social distancing. Masks are recommended, particularly at the salad bar. Plastic gloves are provided for serving from the communal food containers. Anti-bacterial liquid soap is also offered to diners. Staff are masked. Curbside service is available. So, Ruby Tuesday seems to be doing a lot right to provide guests a safe and enjoyable dining experience during COVID. read more

We are Reward Members and drove 20 min to eat here. The place was near empty but waited a few minutes for the hostess to arrive. She was sullen, unfriendly and informed us it would be a 15 min wait. When I asked if they were short servers she stated "the kitchen was backed up". I suggested we could be seated to enjoy the salad bar that was available giving the kitchen a chance to catch up. No response. After standing for 10 minutes, we sat down for another 10 min. After waiting a total of 25 min we left.
