This was my first time eating at a Panera. The food was really good. There were a couple of mistakes, no salad dressing on one salad and no chicken on the other salad. The recipe says free goodies if your order is wrong and that was not offered. I didn't push it because I didn't want it but if your receipt says it you should offer it. Overall I enjoyed the soup and Asian salad and my husband says his strawberry salad and avocado sandwich was good. read more

I wish I had checked the rating before we ate here. Most Panera's we have been to are clean and have excellent food. Woodburn Panera had 7 dirty tables in the area we sat. Our table was sticky. None of the tables were cleaned during our time in the restaurant. My bread was so dry, I ate just the meat and veggies in it. I hope they clean up their act as we do like the Panera menu. Worst Panera I've ever been to. We were so hungry after shopping, and just wanted to get back on the road, so we did the drive through. I paid $9 for a while Cobb salad and my avocado wasn't even cut up. My husbands sandwich, that was $8, had two or three tiny piece letters of bacon on it, and it had bacon in the name!! My kids got half orders of Mac n cheese for $5 each and their cups were about half full; maybe 3 to 4 oz of food. Absolutely ridiculous. Worst $25 I've ever spent. read more

I've been to many a Panera over the years and enjoy the food , but this one needs some help! The table I sat at was cleared, but never wiped down. The salt shaker had food dried on the lid and the table was sticky. I borrowed a wipe from a fellow customer who also had the same situation at her table-cleared but never wiped down. The chili was warm, not hot when it arrived. The silverware handle was dirty and my bottled water had to be returned because it was already open. This is not what I'm used to at Panera's!!! read more

Panera Bread is a very nice restaurant. The food variety isn't a lot which is probably why there aren't as many good reviews as I expected but if you like soup, salad, bread and sandwiches this is the best place I've been to EVER!!! the place has a friendly overall environment and the servers are very nice. The chicken noodle soup is TO DIE FOR!! Sandwiches are delicious; the menu says it all. Salads are great too and the bread is one of the reasons we come here!!! I just had such a great experience at Woodburn Panera. I came with my two young children & was trying to pay unsuccessfully with Apple Pay. I didn't have any other form of payment on me & instead of making me feel like I was a nuisance for holding up the line the manager, Craig, & employee, Tan, helped us find a solution. Really? Power kale Caesar salad is iceberg lettuce with three (count 'em, 1, 2, 3) pieces of kale in a bowl. $9.50 for a lousy bowl of iceberg? Then there's the chicken Asiago panini that USED to be huge, cheesy, and awesome. Now it's tiny, harsh, and stale. Panera in general has gone WAY downhill. This place leads the pack. read more

A quick lunch after shopping at the Woodburn outlets during Labor Day weekend. The restaurant was packed of people. We were able to get our seats and get our food fairly quick. Huge fan of their Italian Combo sandwich! It's awesome. Service is usually real quick an pretty good. Only bad thing is it's next to the outlet mall so traffic is always horrible. whom ever designed the roads and traffic patterns at the outlet mall and arteries leading to the mall really messed up. read more

Got ripped off because the lady at the counter rang up our two "halves" as two separate orders. Then when I received my Cobb salad... It was missing the egg... The best part of the salad. Took so long to get our order even though it was slow so by the time we got the messed up salad and realized we got ripped off we just wanted to eat and leave. Customer service was poor as well... Could hear all the employees working goofing off really loudly in the back. And was not greeted by the counter lady. I usually love panera... But this location was awful. read more

I love Panera bread but I have never had such terrible customer service in my life. This is not isolated to one incident. Every time I have gone to the Woodburn location I have never received decent customer service or decent food. Received items I did not order, chicken that was burnt or still was pink in the middle, flakes of burnt soup in my soup, and I have literally seen them drop utensils on the ground and still put them in the bags. You have to tell them your Panera card every time because they never ask for it (even when you purchase over $60 of bagels, pastries and food). I just left there and my food that is supposed to be hot (spinach and bacon soufflé) is ice cold and they did not even bother to package it up they just plopped in a bag. When I asked her to heat it up she told me that since I was drive thru and would not heat it up for me. For an egg based meal they would not heat it up! Food poisoning anyone? I am never going back to the Panera location again. Corporate should take serious action because this location is a serious lawsuit waiting to happen when someone gets sick. read more

Have purchased Panera breads in the past but their food menu is overpriced for what you get. We ordered 2 bowls of soup. What came out was equivalent to what I consider a cup. Soup was in a paper container & when I said that we ordered bowls of soup, kitchen person said they ran out of bowls but that the quantity was equal to a bowl! More broth than chicken noodle & onion soup was very salty. Last time we will eat at any Panera. Probably will stop buying their breads, too. read more

The food was what you expect from Panera, which was good. They were out of the soup I ordered, which I wasn't told until the food was brought out. We also weren't offered a choice of chips, apples or bread. We were just given the bread, which was disappointing. The restaurant however was so incredibly dirty. Tables that weren't bussed, the ones that were had crumbs on them and were sticky. Food and trash on the floor. The drink station was a disaster. The total mess made you not want to eat there. Worst place we've ever eaten. We were starving and went through the drive through. Both ordered half a sandwich for $7 each! And a half of macaroni and cheese that was even more expensive and when we got the food and looked in the bag.. my boyfriend have 1, 1!!!! Piece of meat in his sandwich and it only covered half the bread! He said it was disgusting tasting as well. Mine was alright but incredibly small and sloppily made. And don't even get me started on the mac and cheese. They didn't fill the container and it was enough for maybe.. oh 5 small bites. Our order was about $18 and we were still very hungry after, and the food was barely palatable. Terrible first time trying panera bread and will sadly never be going there again. Decided to get a bite to eat after shopping at the outlets with my wife. As I was pulling up to the parking lot, I saw two young ladies in a vehicle smoking what it looks like to be pot. I didn't think much, but after I ordered and sat down by the soda machines, I look over and see the same two ladies behind the kitchen serving food. I was surprised to find out that they were Panera Bread employees. One was wearing a work hat while the other one didn't, not too sure if she's a manager or not, but if so, I couldn't believe my eyes. I was served my food by a waitress that reeked of weed and not only that, but my order was completely wrong as well. I didn't know employees are allowed to work under the influence here. It is completely irresponsible to have someone intoxicated while being in the workforce or just in general. I feel extremely bad for any other customers that came in that day. God knows what other orders were screwed up. I work hard for my money, I shouldn't be having someone goofing around and doing drugs while at work. Definitely will be taking this to a higher up, this is very unacceptable. read more

Tonight we had the worst most disgusting experience at Panera, we ordered at the drive-through pulled up to the window and paid, then we wait for more than 20 minutes to receive our few items, we could see the teenage workers in the dirty kitchen messing around and touching their hats, jeans, noses and computer screens with the gloved hands they were using to make our food. After one of the guys dropped the bowl he was playing with on the ground he put our food in it! The kitchen is a total pit, always a mess, food on the floor and just nasty. We have noticed how dirty it is before but this time was just too much. It was the most disgusting thing to watch! read more

Panera is always good in my book. But I think they need to have a bit more staff, a problem in this day. I didn't have a feeling of any importance there. Love their soups in a bread bowl. Many pastries to choose from. Not as sickly sweet as a traditional bakery. Its complex carb overload, but I like it. They do have salads to offset. read more

I went to Panera Brad with my grandpa for the first time, and will definitely come again! First of all, I don't think I've ever seen a restaurant so clean. Second, the customer service was wonderful. The lady who helped us order our food was cheerful, patient, and helpful. Then the lady who came to get our food was also nice. Third, it was a BUSY day, yet there was lots of seating left and the order lines moved quickly. Fourth, the food was ready INCREDIBLY fast. It was ready about 2-5 minutes after sitting down. Fifth, the pricing was fair and surprisingly cheap compared to other places. Sixth, the food was absolutely delectable! I didn't expect it to be so delicious! By the way, I recommend to choose the you pick two menu, and get a Thai chicken salad and a Mediterranean chicken flat bread. Without a doubt 5 stars, I would've chosen 10 if there were ten. read more

We love this place! I have only had excellent service here and it is a newer Panera.. They have an outside eating area that is a little smaller but we love to sit out there if the weather is nice. I have ordered food to go via online and they usually do pretty well getting it together. The restaurant is clean and well maintained. I can say that I avoid the area during the day on the weekends as it may be pretty busy due to the outlet mall being next door. read more

I had high expectations for this place when it first opened several years ago. I'm old and a bit cranky but still fit into the "discriminating diner" category, hopefully... so I try to cut them some slack. However, in the past year, I've been disappointed when the food assemblers don't know their own ingredients in their own menu. These items have been each forgotten on 4 separate occasions requiring me to go to the counter and ask for them: 1) the main ingredient "chicken" in the Greek with chicken salad 2) one of the main ingredients "tortillas" in the Southwest Chile Lime Ranch Salad with Chicken 3) a salad ingredient "mandarin oranges" in the Strawberry Poppyseed salad and 4) although-some-say-this ingredient-tastes-like-soap, an important enhancer "Cilantro" in the Southwest Chile Lime Ranch Salad with Chicken. Number 3 and 4 were both forgotten from my Pick 2 salads today. This place when it started here a few years ago had a policy of giving you a treat when they screwed up. I didn't try for gotcha moments but got my share of treats. Now, there is nothing. Just excuses. Didn't hear you say "chicken," "oops" re: missing tortilla chips in Southwest salad, "sorry, ran out of mandarins" (but didn't bother to share that before I was given my salad with no comment) and "oh" regarding no cilantro on this same salad. Reviewing the menu now, I saw pics of the Southwest Chile Lime Ranch Salad with Chicken with hearty junks of avocado, I got one small scrawny piece... but was too tired asking for other things to bother. However, it does mean that next time I have to chose between a place that will give me what I expect to get and Panera who is a diners-slot-machine-experience IMHO, I'll probably pass on Panera. I would like to see them succeed. I would like to see someone step up and be responsible for retaining customers when they screw up. Times have changed since I had a restaurant and screwed up, customers were comped meals on the spot with genuine apology and in addition given free meal coupons just to get them back in the door. At Panera today, $30 for a lunch for two, times many potential future lunches, eventually that should add up to wanting customer retention. This Panera is near a high traffic discount stores area and they probably get sufficient or maybe over capacity captive business in the summer, but more often than not, when I drive by and see all the empty parking spots in front, I think to myself that I know why this is happening. Someone needs to care more. I really don't want yet another restaurant chain to go under over time. Just try harder...please... read more
