I ordered the Green Goddess Caprese and the whole baguette sandwich had 3 tiny pieces of mozzarella. Other than that it was dressing, a couple of super thin tomato slices and a tiny bit of sad arugula. Husband had Signature Chicken sandwich...bread was dry and was only half warmed up, chicken was fine and there were 3 tiny pieces of arugula that weren't visible until you lift the bun. Dirty. Crowded and tables aren't buses. Asked someone to bus a table and they never came. In fact, I was standing there so long these people came and just pushed their way onto the table and took it. After a 12 hour road trip my wife did not want to cook dinner once we arrived home so she suggested Panera Bread at the Woodburn Outlet Mall since we had a very good experience recently in Coeur d alene. What a disappointment! The restaurant was not very busy yet it took 45 min to receive our food. Also there is extremely very little food value for the cost. My wife and I both ordered salads which mainly contained heart pieces of the lettuce and very little chunks of chicken. Definitely will not be going back. read more

My second time at Panera Bread. Came here while I was in Oregon last week. My mom and I wanted to get some breakfast before we went shopping. There's a huge parking lot right by this place. There was no line which was cool. My mom ordered the spinach & artichoke souffle with coffee and I ordered the steak & egg breakfast sandwich with latte. Both were A-ok. We thought the souffle would be fresh out of the oven but it was actually just sitting by the front and they just warmed it up a little bit. The steak & egg breakfast sandwich was also okay. When my mom's order came out, the worker told me they didn't have any sourdough bread so they told me to pick a different bread for my sandwich. I forgot which one I picked but it wasn't bad. I don't know why but the reviews for Panera bread have been a mixed bag .. not just this particular outlet but over all. A few peeps would like it, love it and a few are disappointed .. a few would say it is just alright. to me, it lies somewhere between great and good .. one of the reasons and a strong one is that they have ample of vegetarian options (lacto vegetarian) .. which is not that easy to find everywhere. My wifey is a vegetarian and she became really happy to see all those options lined up, naturally the mood uplifted and thus with good mood the food often seem good :) And then it was our first time at a Panera Bread outlet .. so we usually go with a positive frame out mind .. something like "let's find good food" instead of ïf the food would be good or not :(" So, we had 2 sandwich each .. a smoothie + added a cinnamon roll with a minimum increase in charge .. - Vegetarian - a "mediterranean veggie sandwich" with 420 calories it seemed like a good option but we had different opinions on this one .. she thought it was good (maybe we were very hungry and anything would have been good" and I thought it was just bread + a few raw veggies + feta .. with Mediterranean I expected falafel or something (though yeah it wasn't on the description) - Chipotle Chicken avacado melt - needed a bit more seasoning for my liking .. and a bit of heat .. something like sriracha sauce but it would be just us for that taste .. we are used to it. But the ingredients were great .. loved the chicken and the cheese and grilled avacado as well. Over all it was a nice sandwich. The cinnamon roll was alright as well.. though it added up to the calories but we just had a quarter of it .. each :) Mango smoothie was a bit too sour for our liking .. even for a yogurt smoothie .. Overall, now that we have been to quite a few Panera Bread outlets .. we know what to have and what not .. and are rather familiar with the menu etc. Considering this was our first ever eating experience here .. it was quite good .. the people behind the counter were very friendly .. the service staff was quick .. the place was clean .. My husband and I were craving Panera bread while on a road trip through Oregon and finally found one on the way. We stopped and parked and walked in with only one person in line with their family. There was only one cashier but we thought this shouldn't be long at all. Completely the opposite, the customer in front of us could not make a decision and took literally 15mins....I would think by the 5 minute mark you would think to maybe bring someone else to help or maybe tell the customer that they will help someone else while they make a decision. Anyway we finally get up to the register and make our order with no problems. We ordered two chipotle chicken avocado sandwiches, one chocolate chip cookie, and one lemon drop cookie. After about 5 minutes we got our food and walked out to eat in our car and continue our travels. About 20 minutes out we found out they didn't put the cookies we ordered in our bag. Super frustrating as we tried calling back the store 4 times to try and get a refund or work something out but no one would answer, no one thought to put the cookies in the bag, or even let us know that the cookies were on the way or still heating up. We are super disappointed in both the service and paying extra money for food we never received!!!! read more

I don't know what happened to Panera but the quality of the food has declined and The service at this location is horrible. Unfriendly and rude when asked a question. I recently ordered delivery through the panera app, when my order arrived it was wrong and missing items. I contacted the Manager who told me it was Door Dash's fault they didn't grab everything I need to call them. Well hate to break it to you Panera I didn't hire Door Dash to prepare my order or deliver my food. I hired you. Door Dash has no record of my order because again I hired you. So I ended up spending sing almost $15 on a cup of soup because you messed up my order. Unacceptable!! Even when I contact customer care it takes a week to get back to me then I'm offered a $2 reward. How about you replace my lunch I never got? Terrible service. I had a problem with my order, and when it was dropped off at the table, the manager saw my surprised look and asked if everything was ok. I didn't want to make a big deal out of it (I'm an anxious person, and I shy away from stuff like that), he insisted that they made the order right. I didn't catch his name, but he was amazing and went above and beyond without my even asking. When I offered to pay for the fix, because I was under charged, he said, "nope, because I'm the boss and I can do things like this." Being that they are right next to the outlets, I was extremely surprised that everyone was so friendly. Came here for a quick bite, asked for a smoothie and was just told no. Had to follow up and ask why not, apparently their blender is out of order, fine - but just say that up front. Was waiting for my order take out forever, and was starting to get bothered by it. They kept yelling for a Kody, which is not even close to my name - but apparently is what my receipt said my name is ‍ Now to the food, had the four cheese grilled cheese, it was incredibly bland. You would think with 4 cheeses it would have some flavor. I thought maybe some ketchup would save it...guess what, they have no ketchup at all. This place is the worst. I've been waiting over a half hour for one breakfast wrap. They have one person taking in orders on a busy Sunday morning and a team in the back that's completely clueless. They insist on "table service" but give me a break - I'm happy to come pick it up from the window if I can get it in a timely manner. There is a manager here who is (admirably) trying - but it's hard to motivate people who obviously don't care about what they are doing. I think HR needs a call to see who is letting these folks slip through the cracks. He just asked one of the cooks "Are you sure there's an egg on this?". Worst panera yet! I ordered from the drive-up window on a rainy evening when the shop was completely empty. The teenage workers seemed to be playing around and laughing/joking with one another. I waited about 15 minutes for my order and watched the nonsense that was going on through the window. I could see when my food was done being made - two minutes after ordering. But then it seemed like the girl who made the food did not tell the girl serving the drive up window orders the order was up, so this girl was cleaning and doing other things in the kitchen. She finally saw me looking in the window and said "Oh sorry" and went and looked for my order. It really seemed like there was some kind of teenage bullying going on and team members were not working together as they should have been while on the clock. I hope the manager of this location takes this kind of thing seriously and gets rid of anyone who is not making a good name for Panera. This is the 2nd Panera in the Pacific Northwest that was really disappointing. Get it together, Panera! You used to be my favorite go-to lunch/dinner spot. read more

This restaurant is very filthy and the service was poor. We ate here on 4/24 and our family of five didn't enjoy the experience. Every table was dirty, the carpet covered in crumbs and wrappers, and they were out of many of the items on the menu. It is very over priced here for what you get. If there are only two of you it's fine but I cannot imagine taking your family out for dinner here. Sadly when you order a quart of their broccoli cheddar Soup or any other soup now it only comes with 4 slices of their baguette instead of a whole loaf like they used to give you. I have found that Costco's double pack of Broccoli Cheddar soup is just as good and far less expensive! Their salads are great but again pretty expensive. They used to let you order many extras to add to them for free, but not anymore. Sticky table, pubic hair on the woman's toilet, gross chai latte, burnt food, didn't get a receipt etc. There was a worker standing over our food picking his nose and biting his nails, IN FRONT OF THE MANAGER. Although we like the food, every time we place a curbside order, despite using the app to say we're there, parked at curbside pick up, no one comes out and we have to go inside and get it, which of course defeats the purpose of curbside! The topper was last week when my kids waited AT the drive thru window for over 20 mins, only to have the young man who worked there tell them he's "still getting over Covid," (and only had his mask halfway over his mouth) and said it was his first day back but still not feeling well. One of our kids is immunocompromised, so upon hearing this, after waiting all that time, they canceled the order out of fear of his germs getting transferred to their food. The moment they drove away, they called this Panera store, asked for a manager, shared their concerns and asked for their money back since they didn't actually get their order. Just wow! We hear people raving about Panera, can't begin to figure out why. Our second experience with them and once again uninspiring. There was no employee in site in the lobby. It's all kiosks, which are very slow with all the choices and people unfamiliar with using them. No one anywhere to assist. We waited over 30 minutes for our meal. It was raining and I had my heart set on grilled cheese and tomato soup. I went to pick up our order only to find out they were out of tomato soup. A human taking my order could have told me this. My grilled "cheese" was all bread with one thin piece of cheese and was barely warm. Our table was sticky dirty. Not once while eating did I see an employee cleaning tables. We cleared our dishes on to an overflowing collection area. I know places are having trouble finding employees, but this was really bad.
