Woodstock, Illinois, April 11, 2015 7:09PM Order #13850507 A great restaurant that seems to have lost it's way. Last 2 times I have used their 'Rapid Pickup' service there has been items missing from the order. This evening we had an out of town visitor for dinner, and we thought it would be nice to order out and eat at home with them. WOW was he surprised to find no meat in his Asiago Steak Sandwich. WOW were we ever embarrassed. As soon as I was able to call them and tell them about the problem, they were very fast to offer to refund the price of the product. That does not solve what went wrong. It does hide the fact that customer care and customer service are not part of the Panera culture. All they want is for the customer to spend their money and be on their way. From now on do not expect to see my car in their parking lot. They are just another over priced money grabbing store that is after you money. If you want a good meal at a goof price, find a local mom/pop place. I would like to give 0 starts as a rating, but 1 start is as low as they will let me go. Joe read more

Kids love the soup. The restaurant is clean and the service is always fast and positive. The only two faults is the seating should have been bigger and the prices are a little high for a family of four. read more

Back in 2012, when I wrote my first review, this location was new. Since that time, they have greatly improved. Although I do still have some trouble with my order being incorrect, however they do work to correct the mistakes when they happen. read more

Pretty solid, obviously a chain but soups are great. I would love to see them make some additions to the salad dressing selections. Let's face it, kids like Ranch~trying to talk a 12yr old into strawberry vinaigrette poppyseed dressing requires an act of congress. read more

I would have given it 5 stars but they took my daughters favorite and only meal she would eat from there off the menu, the buttered noodles. But otherwise Panera is always on point. read more

Great staff, have always been very satisfied with my meal (usually have soup!) and they offer a great ambience for work!

I don't understand how a single location that has the employee turnover of a fast food restaurant can consistently get things so wrong over the course of multiple years. The McDonalds across the street performs at a much higher level. Ordered double cheese and croutons for my French Onion soup and received neither. This was the straw that finally made me write a review. Over the years, it's been missing items, wrong items, cold mac and cheese, "I'm sorry, we're out of that", poorly built sandwiches, "don't want to work" attitudes and skimpy salads for the prices they're asking make this a place to avoid. Why I keep rolling the dice and coming back is beyond me. The consistency one expects compared to other Panera locations is sorely lacking. It's inconvenient but I'm going to treat my Panera cravings like I did before this location was built - meaning I'll drive to Crystal Lake. I have no idea if it's under the same management as Woodstock but at least the crew and offerings are accurate and consistent there. It's sad since I'd prefer my tax dollars to be spent locally and we were so excited when it opened. This location has been nothing but a disappointment. read more

$ 7.54 where else can you go and get a cup of soup for this price? Seriously???? Wow and to be honest it was not even that great.

This is the WORST Panera Bread I have ever been to in my life. I ordered a diet coke, 2 bagels, and a hot chocolate. One of the bagels and the diet coke came out pretty quickly. Though for the hot chocolate I waited 7 minutes and they forgot about my other bagel. The lady didn't even apologize for the wait. Then, I went to take a drink of my hot chocolate and it was ice cold and it didn't even have any chocolate flavor. All in all, awful customer service and horrendous hot chocolate, if you can even call it hot chocolate. read more

Obviously Panera is a yummy place to eat, but what makes this one better is their employees. They are always super nice! There's one young lady named Alex who is my absolute favorite. She's the most upbeat, sweet, do-anything-to-make-you-smile person you'll come across! Everytime I go through the drive-through and she's taking my order, it's like she's my own daughter and she's so happy to serve to me. :) Five stars for customer service alone! read more

I have only gone through the drive thru or used online ordering so I can't comment on staff. This seems to be what other reviewers have had a problem with. My daughter's love their soup in bread bowls. Bread is always fresh and delicious. My wife and I love the sandwiches. Sierra Turkey is a very good sandwich. I have never had an issue with my order being wrong. My only downside is price. I feel they are a little expensive for what you get. read more

The tables are always dirty, we never get our bagel when we order one with a meal. The manager doesn't manage its workers. We are getting pretty sick of having to ask for things we should be getting and do get at other Paneras. Crystal Lake, McH, Lake in the Hills all have it over this Panera. I would expect more consistency. This one pales in comparison to their fellow stores. The staff is indifferent and lazy and rude. The managers aren't any better. They are Clueless. This will be the place some may go because they've been everywhere else in town and need a change-NOT because it's a first choice place to go. The kitchen is slow and not accurate. The servers and cashiers need training and attitude adjustments. The managers need training as they are not doing their jobs either. read more

Ordered flatbread sandwiches in two different styles. Bread was hard and dry, sandwiches were rather tasteless and the texture of the ingredients made it seem the sandwiches had been sitting around for a long, long time....best part of the meal was the soup. For the price it was really bad and we won't go to this place again. Been to other Panera's and had a much better experience. read more

Two times to this store - two time rude service. Wont be back, do yourself a favor and buy a loaf of bread and make your own lunch!

when panera opened here it showed promise, but now that promise is waning. the service at the front desk is incredibly slow most times, even when not busy. the display case is usually almost empty. the food is good which is one saving grace. I know good service in Woodstock is hard to find but here it is nearly extinct. read more

Fast drive thru service for a Chai latte but the food is overrated and overpriced. I absolutely hate the taste of their chicken. Food takes a while to come to the table and I've had my orders made wrong multiple times. At least the staff is friendly but the food can taste better. read more

I went to this location for the first time about a week ago. It was 8 am and i wanted tomato soup but they don't serve till 9. I think the cashier was a little hard of hearing because i asked for a Mediterranean veggie and ended up with some eggy thingy and the girl crumpled my receipt instead of giving it to me. not to mention the sandwich maker was moving pretty slow. I wasnt feeling very well that morning so i didn't feel like asking for the sandwich that i wanted. Atleast the egg sandwich that i ate was decent. read more

Tasty Panera food (love their salads and Frontega Chicken panini). Drive thru is tight, but handy.

Location is fairly new and the layout is nice. The food is consistent with any of the panera locations. We enjoy stopping in for a bagel or a full meal. Love the BBQ salad. read more
