First let me start by saying the staff at this Panera is extremely helpful and friendly. The place is really clean and drink stations are well stocked with lids, straws, napkins, etc. I got a to go turkey avocado BLT for the road. A full sandwich is now over $10. Ok prices are up everywhere. Opened sandwich about 15 minutes later once I got on the highway. The bread was lovely flavor and nicely crunchy and chewy. The cheese was melty and delicious. The avocado was generous. But one slice of turkey and tomato per half sandwich. No lettuce or bacon, a BLT with no B or L. I get inflation and paying fair wages but it seems like Panera is cheaping out and I am frankly disappointed. Used to get quality food for a bit more than fast food. They offer curbside but seemingly they must not do alot of them. They forgot one of our sandwiches, didn't customize the coffees as requested, no cream cheese for the cream cheese bagel, no napkins. The receipt says that the order was checked by someone, I'm honestly not sure what they checked. So I've been to several Panera bread restaurants. But this one was the best due to the service. We arrived just before closing. A new employee was being trained on the menu and cash register. She seemed nervous. But I quickly saw the situation and smiled. I told my son, watch honey! We always need to be patient with those that are learning. He smiled, and asked her a few questions about the menu. He wasn't sure what to order. The new employee answered as best she could, with some guidance from her boss. We decided on soup and sandwiches. Prompt, and delicious. With a splash of kindness. Great experience overall. I love getting the opportunity to teach my son tolerance. This was perfect! For a long time I used to love going here. When I didn't have an issue with the quality of food. I typically am a creature of habit and get the same thing. But every time it's hit or miss. Mostly miss these last couple of months and I'm disappointed. I get the roasted turkey avocado BLT. My FAVORITE. But... avocados have been hard and crunchy (super foul texture) and BROWN!! Service is poor. My last 3 visits were carry out for my business lunch. Orders were wrong 2 times and the 3rd time I ordered online using rapid pick up....they didn't even get the order. I was late returning with lunch. I will not be ordering from them again for our business. My biggest frustration was the manager did not seem phased by my order not being there and says someone else probably took my order. I stood there expecting her to look into what went wrong and finally asked "what do we need to do? Do I need to re-order it or what?" She did not apologize or have any sense of urgency to get this order right. They're usually out of bread/bakery items by noon. I've not been treated so disrespectfully in a Panera as the one in Wooster, OH...someone gave me a gift card so it was a "treat" to go to Panera--which turned into disaster...the cashier "KAT" didn't offer me any sides w/ my Quinoa bowl and ASSUMED I wanted bread--I am gluten free-- when I picked up my order & looked inside the bag, I found bread. I asked for the manager. I have very mixed feelings about this location. Number one, I love the food there when they get it right. That is the problem. The delivery service has messed up my last three consecutive orders and when I reach out to them to complain, I get a horrible response from the manager. Today when I told him about it, he seemed half-interested in a genuine apology and thought all you have to do is offer something for free and shut the customer up. How about be more sincere and get it right? I reminded this manager that where I work, I have been the number one advocate for asking my coworkers to PROPERLY tip their drivers. I learned that the driver's do not get minimum wage, and that the delivery charge does not go to the drivers. So, these drivers work for tips. I have people I know who were tipping them $1 for an order that was over $20. It bugged me so I spoke my mind about it. I refuse to sign for things because I do not want to be the face of bad tipping. So, you would think the one guy who fights for them, is also the one guy they turn around and short. This is the absolute worst Panera I have ever encountered. SECOND AWFUL EXPERIENCE IN A WEEK. I have a problem every time I order from this restaurant. The service and food quality standards are horrible!!!!!!! They are almost always extremely slow. The delivery service is unreliable and often unavailable. My most recent delivery order was an extremely poor customer experience. The manager was extremely hesitant to correct the issue when I called to request that my missing items be delivered. When the manager first answered my call I told her that every time this happens the manager on duty says that they cannot deliver my missing or corrected items. After talking in circles she explained that she was aware of my missing item before hand and decided not to deliver my item because they were out of my bread choice. Clearly it was an unacceptable decision on behalf of the manager to not include an item that was paid for without contacting the customer, further not issuing a refund or offering a substitute. (The item in question was a simple grilled cheese sandwich) The manager put me on hold and miraculously found bread. The only constancy at this location is that they will always get your orders wrong. Last night we ordered online for rapid pickup, the food in our order was unacceptable! The put my salad on top of 2 hot soups, the salad was completely ruined. Of course they did not put the lid completely on the soup so it spilled out over the other items. One soup was completely wrong. To boot the order also contained a sandwich that was of unacceptable quality. Leave it up to this location to repeatedly mess up an $8 grilled cheese. Love this place. They have a great rewards program. Normally I hate rewards/membership cards because it sends a clear message to the customer: just choosing to shop at our store is not good enough for us to offer you good prices. We save the best prices for the customers we prefer--those that surrendered all of their personal information to us. Panera's reward system just surprises you with free pastries. You never know what you're going to get. This is WAY better than giving you a million dollars off a bag of chips because you gave them your address. Good thinking Panera. No wonder this company was not hurt by the recession. Now to the food. It's just good, simple food. For the most part it tastes fresh. Five stars would be given if their food were just a little more flavorful and they improved the presentation a little. The best part about Panera is the Cinnamon Crunch Bagel. BEST BAGEL EVER. I had to wait for 10 minutes for a rapid pickup after placing the order 15 minutes before arriving. When I looked in the bag I had two small slices of bread instead of a baguette and no one said anything to me about being out. I also ordered a cookie and it was right out of the oven so when it was placed in the bag it smushed all the way down. Service needs improvement. read more

Staff is good, they are patient and understand requests you may have in terms of food, and the food is delivered fresh. Take-outs are pretty efficient too! My husband and I have been going there for about a year, and have always found their food to be pretty good. Not great, just good. We both find it confusing to order. A lot just doesn't make sense. We were just there last night, and while it appeared to be fully staffed, not one employee came out to clean a table or take care of the floor, which was littered with crumbs and just disgusting. There were old greasy handprints and "crud" on tables, which weren't clean. All in all, I felt the place was in disrepair, and due to the fact that I never see the same employees face twice, most likely not a really prideful place to work. I am rarely disappointed with our local Panera. Today was no different. I had my order delivered, which I have done on occasion, only to find I was missing one of my cups of soup. After a quick call to the restaurant, another cup of soup would be arriving shortly. It was delivered by possibly a manager. He upgraded the soup to a bowl, threw in another baguette(even though I told him that wasn't missing) and a couple of cookies as extras. None of that was necessary as we all make mistakes.
