Yuanyang coffee... served without hot sleeve. It didn't need one because it was lukewarm even though it's supposed to be a hot latte.

The plants decorate almost every area of this little cafe and it's beautiful! I love how the lights on the ceiling look like sky lights and it's not too brightly lit. The pictures make this little cafe seem a lot bigger than what it is, but it's cozy. The service was poor at best, I wasn't greeted when I came in and the only barista on staff left the cafe without a word to me as soon as I walked up to order. She disappeared for 5~ minutes. I ordered a Yuanyang coffee, which was described as Chinese black tea steeped in bold espresso infused with light brown sugar and cane sugar. It tasted like a too-sweet, lukewarm milky latte. I like the ambiance of this cafe, but I won't be returning due to the poor service and disappointing coffee.

What a hidden gem! I discovered Pangaea by accident while my wife shopped for more plants that we don't need. I got to talking with the owners, who filled me in on the history of their business. So cool! Both very friendly guys. The decor is so unique and fun! My son wanted to try the bacon, egg, and cheese croissant, and my daughter was excited for the croissant, too. They both loved their food, which is exceedingly rare for my very picky children! I wish I could say that I got a picture, but they devoured it before I had the chance! My wife got a bite, but I wasn't so lucky; she expressed that it was really good, too. I got a drip coffee for myself and it was quite good. I wish that it was in a freestanding space, but this does give me something to look forward to when my wife drags me out to buy more plants!

If you're looking for a total body experience, this is it. The presentation alone is a work of art on a plate--almost too beautiful to eat. Almost. The aroma greets you at the door, teasing you with exactly what you came for and setting the tone before the 1st bite ever lands on your tongue. There's a perfect balance between a lively, energetic kitchen and a culinary dance that knows exactly how to set the mood between you and your wait staff. I love watching a kitchen that truly moves together. The way the kitchen and waitstaff flow in harmony tells you everything you need to know before the food even arrives. And then there's the food itself--textures that crunch just right, silkiness where it belongs, and a mouthfeel that's been thoughtfully mastered. Every bite delivers. The flavors explode, layering the fundamentals with deep, savory umami that lingers long after the plate is cleared. That lingering sixth sense... the feeling that stays with you is matched only by the vibe. It's that rare sense of being exactly where you're supposed to be. And where you're supposed to be is here, experiencing this food for yourself. Get on over here and tell us what you think. It will absolutely be worth the time you take out of your life to experience this culinary delight.

I started with the buffalo chicken mozzarella sticks, but they weren't for me so I sent them back. I ended up getting the blackened chicken flatbread, which was actually really good and full of flavor. A few others in my group had mixed experiences too--my cousin ordered the crispy Brussels sprouts and didn't like them, and my daughter tried the crab cake appetizer. She said the flavor was great, but the texture was too mushy inside. My sister, on the other hand, enjoyed her shrimp appetizer and said the mac and cheese egg rolls were just okay. One thing we all agreed on--the drinks were AMAZING. Definitely strong and well-made, they did not disappoint at all. The overall vibe of the restaurant is nice, especially being in the Oyster Point area. It's a great spot to hang out on a Saturday night. Not sure if I'd rush back, but it was a decent experience.

They were also out of the snake river Wagyu ribeye and strip steak. We were told they didn't receive a shipment of meat. The food was really good regardless of that, luckily they had three orders of lamb chops left so some of us ordered the rest of that. I like that when you order a steak it already comes with two sides. Other steakhouses you would have to order sides à la carte. The cocktails were amazing and service was great. Only thing that was a little weird was we had two birthdays and asked the manager if they happened to do a complimentary birthday dessert or something for the two birthday guest. He responded politely with we don't do any birthday desserts but you can order champagne since it's a celebration. Mind you it's a party of 12 and each couple's bill was at least 250+. Nonetheless, we had a great time and money was well spent, definitely worth trying out!

The restaurant is beautifully designed, and the staff provided professional, attentive, and friendly service throughout our visit. Unfortunately, the food did not meet our expectations. While everything was presented well, the flavors were somewhat bland and lacked the level of taste and quality we anticipated for the price point. Given what we spent, we felt we could have received a more memorable dining experience elsewhere, such as Eddie V's, where both the atmosphere and flavor profile tend to align with the premium cost. Overall, the service and ambiance were highlights of the evening, but the food itself fell short of delivering the complete upscale dining experience we were expecting

First of all can I just say WOW!…read more We were excited at the first because we thought the Neat Bird from Chesapeake had a new location in Norfolk Colley Avenue but there chicken sandwich was even delicious here too with a different owner! We met the owner, he is a cool band guy with a mustache name Dand. The drinks he made for us were so good and so was the way he talked with his staff and the way they worked together. My parner and I had seen that they pride themselfes on Scottish eggs, which we were lucky to try and it was also very delicious! We like that they have the vibe and also a board with many events of the community on the wall to check out while you sip on a delicious expresso martini. Good job to the Bird! now dont go opening another restaurant in Chesapeake or we will all be very confused!

The ambiance…read moreis cozy and homey, with a few tables outside, some high-top tables inside, bar seating, three half-booth tables, and even a couch area. You order at the register, and the staff brings the food out to your table. Everyone was attentive, and we had no issues with the service. We ordered the waffle plate, which came topped with fruit alongside eggs and their house sausage. We also tried the Huevos Rancheros, the Sausage Egg & Cheese sandwich, and a build-your-own omelette. For drinks, we ordered the brown sugar cold brew, dulce de leche cold brew, drip coffee, and an espresso martini. The waffle was huge, and the sides were great. My only complaint was that it could have used more fruit, as there were only a few small pieces. The Huevos Rancheros were delicious and came with a generous serving of avocado. The only thing that caught us off guard was the lack of salsa, since in traditional Huevos Rancheros the salsa is a key component. Even so, the dish was still flavorful and filling. The omelette was excellent, and the breakfast sandwich was equally delicious. I was especially impressed by the house-made jam, house-made hot sauce, and the perfectly seasoned home fries. As for the drinks, the brown sugar cold brew was excellent, but the dulce de leche version was far too sweet for my taste. From what I understood, they use two flavored syrups to make it, and I think using smaller portions of each would create a better balance. We ended up adding oat milk and some drip coffee to tone it down. The drip coffee itself was solid and came with free refills. The espresso martini really tied brunch together for me -- strong, well-made, and delicious. Overall, we really enjoyed both the food and the experience, and we'll definitely be back.

This is the brunch place to be. When you walk in , it is pretty open. There is tables throughout and it is fairly clean. We were seated quickly. Our waitress was fantastic at my recent visit. I was there with my friend and a teen who is special needs. Our waitress was very engaging with them and took her time with them. I was so happy about that. Our food was amazing. My husband was with me once and he had the scotch eggs and said they were some of the best he has had. My food has always come out piping hot. I enjoy my blueberry pancakes. I like that you can get one plain and one blueberry. The blueberries on my pancake were spaced out well. There is a nice large lot to park in. There are various other businesses around food craft that share that lot.

I'm not exaggerating. It came out super quick too so they have to be making it ahead and just letting it sit. I had country fried steak, eggs over medium, toast and home fries and a side of bacon. The home fries and steak were lukewarm, the eggs were literally cold like they sat in the refrigerator, the bacon was also damned close to being that cold. The toast was cold as can be, barely toasted, no butter, not cut. I mentioned it to the waitress and she said there is butter on the table. That's it. She really seemed like it was a bother to have to serve customers at all. Maybe I'm just unlucky, but I don't know how this place has any positive reviews at all. I sent my entire meal back but still paid for coffee and the side of bacon (and my sons' meals of waffles and French toast). I didn't want mine remade. Still cost me nearly 50 dollars for this trash, and no offer to make it right other than removing exactly what I sent back. My other and more serious concern is food safety. IF they ARE cooking this ahead and storing it in a way that leaves it cold or room temp, bacteria is a big concern. I'm typing this from the toilet and my stomach is going through it right now. From a few bites of cold food? Maybe.
